Never stop pedaling!
HI Davide! A couple of comments if I may. First, old bike or new bike, rest assured that your videos will always be appreciated. The bike is a tool, nothing more. In fact, what struck me the first time I watched your videos was your setup (front loading), it inspired me and I have to admit that my own rig reflects your influence. And of course, I have underscored that many times, your rants delight me, since I find them totally justified and absolutely funny. I can't wait to see the next video. Safe travels.
Good job!
Lol! Let the bees be! All that matters is that you feel better. 🙂
Hi Davide, I have not watched the video yet, it is Sunday in September, which means the entire viewing day is devoted to football, but I do have two questions for you: 1) Do you have an end goal in your journey, such as a specific distance, number of countries, or time frame? 2) If you gave up touring on your bike (we all hope you keep going) what does your future look like? What would you like to do with your time if not riding?
Dear Davide, I was about to unsubscribe because the bee treatment was absolutely unbearable. But then, just out of curiosity, I asked my friend ChatGPT whether this was actually true and, incredibly, it told me that there is indeed quite a lot of evidence that bee venom helps with back pain, even though there are only few studies on the subject. And that’s why I’m still subscribed, but remember, you’re walking on thin ice.
I really liked the ciaccolata
alla prossima
Wish you had posted this earlier when the bees here were more active. I could have tested your theory and solved my back pain issue. It will have to wait until next spring when they return.😉
Hope you're getting along with the new gear. I look forward to following along with this new leg of your journey.
are the BEES belivet it! you can do it ofen
Saludos, MUCHOS MÉDICOS HAN UTILIZADO LAS PICADURAS DE LAS ABEJAS. OBVIO MENOS PARA AQUELLOS QUE SON ALERGICOS.
Es igual con los venenos de las serpientes, escorpiones

Davide, you're not an idiot, you just accidentally underwent Apitherapy! Bee venom can help relieve pain through a practice called Apitherapy, which uses bee stings, venom extracts, or injections to reduce swelling and block pain signals, It is a widely known practice that is even applied in mainstream healthcare. If you want to more about that check out with your AI.
grande ispirazione Davide!!!
My grandmother in Missouri would deliberately get wasps to sting her fingers to alleviate her arthritis. "If it seems stupid, but it works – it's not stupid."
Hey great informative video again.
Thank you.
Now to your magical bee story you may like this. I asked Claude AI about this crazy thought you have in regards to them reducing your back pain:
Enjoy :
Ha, that's a wild story, but it's actually not crazy. There's real research behind it. A clinical trial at Kyung Hee University Hospital in South Korea found bee venom acupuncture significantly reduced pain for people with lower back pain compared with other alternative treatments.
The mechanism makes sense too. Melittin, the main component of bee venom, has been shown to reduce inflammation, and in small doses has potent anti-inflammatory effects. It's actually a real practice called apitherapy, and it uses products from honeybees and is believed to have various health benefits, though the clinical evidence varies.
So your friend getting stung fifteen times isn't just a fluke story, it lines up with a legitimate area of research. That said, I'd add the obvious caveat: scientific evidence supporting bee venom therapy overall is still inconclusive with mixed results, and safety is a real concern since it can trigger severe allergic reactions. So it's not something to go seek out deliberately without real caution.
Un – BEE- lieveable!!
Love your vids!
I have got a Rohloff and I am happy to hear you are learning to enjoy the pinion gearbox, I mean I love it, especially the gear change when stationary, very useful. Had to laugh with the bee story man, wow, I may go looking to piss off some bees to cure my hernia! haha! Great video man, very interesting all round, safe travels!
Since you're in Uzbekistan, enjoy some plov and shashlik !
