I found this in my bike frame. Not good (Oman desert)

Cycling the world – Asia: episode 40
I continue my ride across the endless deserts of Oman, leaving a strange campsite beside an abandoned building and a cell tower before pushing south toward Haima. The days blur together in a landscape of highways, petrol stations, camels and heat, broken only by brief moments of shade under overpasses and roadside prayer shelters. Ramadan makes even simple tasks like buying food an adventure, while long distances and monotony test my patience. Along the way I discover damage to my bike frame, resupply in remote towns and camp night after night in the desert. As the journey toward Salalah continues, the challenge becomes less about climbing mountains and more about enduring the vast emptiness of Oman.

  2. A Haima c'erano ben 42 gradi a marzo, quando ci sono passato con un autobus della Mwasalat proveniente da Nizwa. Complimenti davvero, percorrere quella tratta interna in bicicletta è tanta roba!

  3. I dented my new Pipedream Sirius mountain bike just like Davide and like him I don't know how. Looks like I'm going to need a totally new bike too. Oh well.

  4. You surely need a new bike! I have already tried a few times to give you tips on how to get a bit of the support from us Europeans, but Y – T algorithms are terrible. I don't even dare write anymore about how to do it! I have to choose my words carefully! P + P and R – m, are out of the question because of their strange policies and our irritation with them. So if you receive this message, ask AI, how to make it easier for Europeans to support you without using P +P and R – m, because there is pretty easy way to do so!
