Hello.Hello. My name is Yuuki Tamura, Tamura Shippo Cloisonne Enamel since1883. I would like to share with you the process of creating art panel work the popular Japanese Mt. First, we use copper as the base material. We burn off dirt and oil around the copper. Pitch black!

This is lightly washed to remove soot, and then dipped in dilute sulfuric acid. While soaking, we take a break. Warm tea is delicious. After soaking in dilute sulfuric acid, we polish it to a shine. Copper is so beautiful. After polishing, it is covered with a white base.

This time, we use enamel to make it white. The base is dried and baked. 750 degrees Celsius 750 degrees Celsius I’ll exercise while I’m waiting. To thicken the base, repeat the process. Next, the work to draw a pattern. A line of sterling silver strips is set up and a pattern is drawn.

Using tweezers and scissors, the pieces are formed little by little. little by little. Be careful not to let the lines float, or the crystal glass glaze that will be applied in the next step will run off. It is also important to decide what kind of design .

I get inspiration for my designs from various sources, such as the seasons, plants, and emotions. I want to bring you a colorful everyday life. I want to make them thrilled. Next, here is the silver foil. This time, we put silver foil in one part, the lower part.

It is a gimmick to make the silver foil shimmer and shine through in parts. The silver wire is fixed with glue for temporary fixing. After the pattern is drawn, it is fixed by baking in a kiln. This is spray glue. I’ll put a faint white transparent glaze on it and fire it.

By doing so, the silver wire is fixed. The firing time is short, but there are several firing processes. Next, we make crystal glass glaze. It is fun to make colors. The glaze is then ground into a usable shape. The glaze is then sifted to make sure it is of the right size.

Fly away with the wind! Now, the glaze is applied. This process is called “applying glaze. Colors are applied separately. The key is to poke the glaze on the surface in order to prevent bubbles from forming. Carefully add and subtract water as you go. Mt.Fuji is so cool!

Careful attention to detail. Be careful not to touch the silver line, because if you do, the line will fall over. In order to create a gradation, it is necessary to make a lot of glaze in advance. Although it is not shown in the video,

it actually takes a lot of time to prepare in advance. It takes days of preparation. Glaze is applied rather than painted. I love the crunching sound of the glaze as it is being applied, and I used to watch my family do it when I was little.

When the glaze is finished, it is dried and baked. relax. Be careful not to let the water escape properly or it will cloud over. Finished baking. Then I put the same glaze on the same place again. Then I put the same glaze on the same place again. Now, let’s put it on!

This time, I put silver foil on the top layer. I’m processing it like Japanese maki-e. Glossy! It’s fun to see the color change. Another decoration will be added. This is the artist’s taste and ingenuity. Rainbow! It was a beautiful day. It was beautiful.

Finally, a glaze called “White-translucent” is sprinkled on and fired. It is like a final coating. It is also meant to even out slight irregularities. In my spare time, I clean up! After it cools down, it is time to polish.

Polish until the head of the silver wire comes out. I’ll make it smooth! Signing is also done. This time, I sign it with pigment. I burnish it again. After baking, shape it. Hurry up and shape it while it’s hot. Be careful! The final step is to frame it.
