The Heat is on at Kirishima Kinkowan National Park and Sakurajima

Day 11 of a 19 day ride around Shikoku and Kyushu on 3 Honda Hunter Trails and 1 Super Cub.

We rode from Kirishima to KKirishima Kinkowan National Park. We wanted to ascend a volcanic crater but the road was closed so opted to go to Lake Onami instead. It was a very steep walk.
After that, we made the decision to ride out to Sakurajima. It’s one of Japan’s most active volcanoes. Had great views and scenery all day.
