ポタリングの行き先に迷ったら、山梨県・河口湖サイクリングもおすすめです。
折りたたみ自転車BROMPTON（ブロンプトン）で河口湖を巡ってきました。河口湖は富士急行線「河口湖駅」から約2kmとアクセスが良く、輪行旅でも走り出しやすいサイクリングスポットです。
湖を一周すると約18km。アップダウンが少なく、ミニベロや初心者でも走りやすいコース。
天気が穏やかな日には、湖面に映る「逆さ富士」を眺めながら走ることができます。

この日は強風で湖面に白波が立ち、逆さ富士は見られませんでしたが、富士山の上空を雲が駆け抜けていくダイナミックな景色は圧巻でした。同じ河口湖でも、天候によってまったく違う表情を見せてくれます。

湖畔にはカフェや観光スポットも点在しており、写真撮影や休憩を挟みながら楽しめるのんびりポタリングに最適です。

I explored Lake Kawaguchi on a folding bike, BROMPTON.The lake is located about 2 km from Kawaguchiko Station on the Fujikyu Railway Line, making it an easy and convenient destination for bike touring with train travel.
A full loop around the lake is about 18 km.The route is mostly flat with minimal elevation changes, so it’s easy to ride for mini velo bikes and beginners.

On calm days, you can enjoy cycling while admiring Mount Fuji reflected on the lake surface, known as the famous “Upside-Down Fuji.”On this particular day, strong winds created whitecaps on the lake, so the reflection wasn’t visible.However, watching clouds race across the sky above Mount Fuji created a dramatic and unforgettable view.Even at the same lake, the scenery changes completely depending on the weather.

Cafés and sightseeing spots are scattered along the lakeside, making it perfect for a relaxed pottering ride with photo stops and breaks.
