FISE SAKAI 2025 | UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup — Men’s Semi final

[Applause] Yes. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] What’s up, Fast family, and welcome back to Sakai, Japan for another massive day here at the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup. We’re diving straight into the elite semifinals. And let me tell you, the level is about to go through the roof. The best riders in the world are stepping back onto the park with everything on the line. Flow, amplitude, progression, it all matters today. Only the strongest will punch that golden ticket into the final and every athlete is known. So, buckle up, get ready, and welcome to Feast Sakai. My name is Aegon, and I’m being joined here today by Dustin Orum as our BMX freestyle commentator. Dustin, how are you doing, dude? It is such a blessing to be here. I am so stoked to watch this all go down. I mean, we already had an amazing day full of qualifications yesterday. And then uh we just wrapped up the flatland finals as well in the women’s. We still have men’s coming up. But first, we have 24 of the best riders in the men’s elite class. And we’re going to boil it down to 12. Let’s go. So, that’s going to be 24 riders, lots of action, a action-packed runs. We have an amazing course here behind us. You might know this one from four years ago in Tokyo during the Summer Olympics. So, let’s see. The course looks ready. Let’s have a quick look at that course, by the way. So, here on the screen with us as well, and make sure to check in on all the action on all the feast socials that we have. Get involved. If you’re watching on YouTube as well, make sure to leave a comment. So that is that Tokyo 2020 Olympics replica park. It’s got a new bit of color to it. Dustin, can you tell me a bit more about the ramps? Yeah, looking at the different features. So those vert walls are standing about 17 ft tall. Box jump is 6 1/2 ft tall. You got those two pocket quarters that are just over 10 ft. So this course is absolutely massive. a lot of different hip options and a lot of gaps that the riders got to keep huge speed going to keep and link all those together as they put their runs down. So, this is going to be a park that favors the riders with the bigger tricks, with the bigger gaps, but we also want to see what tech technical tricks can happen by some of the other riders. 24 riders that we just said. In a couple of minutes, we’re going to run you through which riders made the cut. Yesterday we started with about 40 riders if I’m not mistaken. Now it’s 24 left and then tomorrow’s finals only 12 will make it. And there’s a lot of stake. I mean this is the last stop of the World Cup. We still have one more World Cup title to give away this week and and also then we’re going to know who takes the season win in the World Cup standing which is something that we will talk about later in this broadcast. Now, everything here that happens will be judged by some of the finest judges that we have in BMX Freestyle. But first, we’re going to talk about judging criteria. BMX Freestyle Park is pure commitment in an XXL skate park. Riders perform in a park designed to maximize possibilities. Ramps, boxes, quarters, spines, fun boxes. Every obstacle is an opportunity to create unique lines. But the secret isn’t just throwing down big tricks. It’s about using the entire skate park. Judges reward riders who can flow from one obstacle to another. Exploit every space and build a run that’s both smooth and creative. Each rider gets two runs of one minute. Only the best run counts for the final ranking. How are they judged? A panel scores each run based on difficulty. The more technical the trick, the higher the score. Amplitude, height, speed, and power. Creativity and originality. Surprising the crowd with unique style. Flow and use of the park. Linking tricks seamlessly and riding the whole course. Control. Because mastery makes the difference. BMX Freestyle Park is a battle of creativity, technique, and adrenaline where every second counts. [Music] So up here on the scaffolding, we also have our judges. Going from left to right, we have Brian Kachinsky, Axel Jurgens, Eigor Fukadinovich, also known as Pokey, Christy Yukes, and Dave Dilawward. Yeah, all legends in their own right. and they definitely know what they’re looking at and uh are able to accurately judge everything that’s going to be happening on this course this evening. And they already have a couple of World Cup events under their belts, some of them even World Championships and the Olympics. And it’s going to be up to them to decide which 12 riders will make the cut. We also want to thank the people of Sakai for welcoming us here this weekend. and these 24 riders. Let’s have a look at the start list. Philip Mutz, Lak Skinderman, Tomas Tohul, Samuel Grace, Luca Bertron, Kevin Fabre, Jeffrey Whe Maxim Shifur, Nikita Finov, Nick Bruce, Shawa Matsumoto, and Bryce Tryan for our first two heats. And then heat number three and four, Jordan Clark, Yaka Remets, Eric Ridzv, Anthony Jeanjon, Jude Jones, Gustavo Batista Deolivera, Honor Alf, Justin Dao, Alexan Ludy, Jose Tesgil, Remunak Camura, and the highest qualifying rider from yesterday, Gayed Ozawa. Yeah, it was some intense competition yesterday. And yesterday was two runs, both count, to get them into this top 24. But now it’s that best run counts and so they’re really going to be able to throw down this evening and very excited to see what they bring to the table. So they’re going to have just a moment to to warm up and get themselves in their starting spots. Then you’ll probably be hearing a little bit in the background. We got Catfish and Daniel stoking up the local crowd here on the course. Very hyped to have them a part of it. And of course, we have our riders. Some of them that qualified, some of them that still have to ride this weekend here in the Raptors right next to us. So, we will be looking at them as well to see how they react to some of the tricks that are going to be pulled here on the course. Ah, so stoked y’all are tuning in with us. We got front row seats to a crazy event going down this evening. So right now on the course getting their warm-up is Philip Mutz Lindman Thomas tool Samuel Grace Luka Bertron and Kevin Fabre and maybe you can hear it as well. First rider to get ready is Philip Mut from Germany. The German national champion from this year. An absolute powerhouse. Yeah, absolute powerhouse. All right, here we go. Oh, he’s locked in. Come on, Phillip. Starting off his run with that 360 barsman two tail whip. Start things off. Truck to whip. Wow, look at that. Come on, Phillip. Getting nice and high. That’s a lot of pressure being the first rider to drop in. Double tail whip by Phillip. Quick turn down as he makes his way up that wall again, hitting the box. Back flip, throwing in the bar spin. A double trick combination. That’s a triple tail whip. Philillip keeps it going. We’re going to have a look at the timer. 30 more seconds for Philip Mood from Germany. 360 noander on that driveway setup. Back into the box. Ready to hit the big spine. 360 bars spin to do side tail whip. Yes. 360 whip to tuck. No hander. Keeping it going. Come on, Philip. 360 truck driver to tuck no hander over the coping and coping spine coming into this 10-ft tuck noander. 4 seconds left. Downside tail whip and that’s going to be time. Full pull for Phillip. Let’s go. Way to get this party started. Yes, Phillip. Wow. Non-stop from start to finish for Phillip in his first run. [Music] And it’s something that you really notice in Philip’s riding on. And then let’s say all the UCI contests is he’s been really working on keeping that consistency going lesser nerfs. All right, let’s check out some of these replays right here. One, two, over that hip right here. Back flip bar spin. Landing smooth on that and then straight into a triple tail whip. Then adjusting get his feet back on those pedals. truck driver to downside whip and then 360 whip to tuck no hander again. Tuck no hander is when you pull those bars into the lap as opposed to sui noander where you throw the hands behind your back. He’s got to feel so good getting that first run under his belt. Score coming in 73 even for Philillip setting that bar for all these riders in the semifinals. From Phillip we go to a fellow German rider Lars Kinderman. [Music] He was throwing down in qualies and now he is ready for the semis. Lars getting himself in the zone dropping off that top subbox and he’s in. Let’s go. Huge backflip tail whip just floating it out. What 360 double truck to whip. Yes, Lars is on it right now. Roasting over that hip. Coming back into the elevated portion. Gapping in to that with a tuck no hander. Wall ride that subbox right there. Yo, huge 360 Superman seek. Wow. Three whip catch whip. Let’s go Lars. He is on it right now. 360 over the driveway. Pocketing into that 10T. Let’s go Lars. Bar spin coming back into that elevated portion. X up stepping back into the vert wall. Back flip bar spin. Yes, Lars. He’s on it. Linking it back to back. 360 down whip. He’s got 10 seconds left. Come on, Lars. 360ing into the lip of that box jump. Turn down on the spine landing. Tug no hander to cap it off. And there we go. Yes, Lars. And all of that at the age of 18 years, traveling all the way from Germany to Japan to compete in the most insane contest that there is, the World Cups. All right, let’s check out some of these replays from this full throttle run. Starting it out with a massive backflip tail whip. Just floating in it. Love it. And then this crazy 360 double bar spin to tail whip. huge back to back and I love that right there. 360 super indie and then that 360 whip catching it and then kicking another tail whip again. Lars was on it start to finish. See him watching those replays. Stoked. And now we wait to see where the judges are going to put him. Score coming in 66.75. for Lars. So again, awesome getting a a full pull in and now he knows what he needs to do as he comes back for run number two. Next up is yesterday’s birthday boy, Thomas Hall. Yeah, having a blast with his birthday session yesterday and now he’s in the mix for the semis all the way from Slovakia dropping in from the highest end of the park picking up that speed over the big spine with a triple tail whip straight into that 720 bar spin drops a foot on that one but keeps it going. Come on, Tomas. 360 down side. Tail whip ready to hit the next obstacles. Getting high on that wall again. Picking up that speed that he needs. 360 truck driver to downside tail whip. Hanging on to it. Keep it going. A nice lead flare. Tomas halfway that first run up high on the UCI spine with the flare bar spin. And this is a big part. It’s a lot of travel that you have in between obstacles. You need that speed. You need to keep pushing it. 360 downside tail whip. Getting into the lower part of the park again. Hitting the driveway. 360. Nice and easy. Last seconds coming in. Flare. Maybe one more hit. Bar spin and that is going to be it for Tomasal. Yeah, Tomas. Last contest in Shanghai absolutely amazed us with the 1080 attempt. Yeah. Over this bike. He was getting pretty close. So, who knows? Maybe we will see 1080s here in the competition. Let’s check out some of these replays. That was a huge start. Triple tail whip and then 720 bar coming off the pedal but did not look like it touched the ground. He kept his momentum going. 360 downside tail whip over the coping to coping spine. Truck driver to downside tail whip and hanging on to that flare bar spin on the back side of that massive spine. And right here, flare downside tail whip. Downside is when they’re kicking the tail whip down towards the ground as opposed to a top side tail whip kicking it up towards the sky. Score coming in for Tomas 60.75. So again, getting a run under his belt. Come out, handle business. Run number two. But with that, we go to the smiling Australian Samuel Grace. I love it. He’s got so much stoke in his riding. He’s one of our goofy footed riders, which means he will spin towards his front foot. Left foot forward, spinning to the left. Grace dropping in. Starting off with that back flip tail whip straight into that second 80. And he sticks it. Sticks a landing. Now it’s only a matter of filling those other 50 seconds in that round. 360 getting a nice nose dive in 360 double bar spin, also known as a double truck driver. Samuel, oh, look at that double down sight. Nice and high on that big wall again. Picking up that speed into the cheese grater. Passing here well at the judging tower. We’re in the second part of Samuel Dre’s run. Hitting the driveway 360. Yes, Sam, keep it going. Gapping up into that vert wall. Coming to the box jump hit backwards. Huge tuck. No hander. Full extension right there. Going into this 10foot. Yo, huge flare downside tail whip. Yes, Sam. Keep it going. Finish this run out. What? 540 flare. getting the nod that came after the buzzer. And so this is important because this is uh an aspect of the UCI competitions currently. The buzzer rule is that both tires have to be off of the ramp, parallel with the ground before the buzzer goes off. It’s not while they’re in the air, buzzer goes off, it’s still going to count. No, they have to have both tires parallel to the ground after the trick, before the buzzer goes. And so unfortunately that 540 flare his tires were they were still on the ramp and so it wasn’t parallel. So that 540 flare is not going to count. But that was an insane run all the way up to that 540 flare and he’s going to be able to talk coaches and the guys to okay what can I do to get a little bit quicker so I can be able to pull that 540 flare off in the time. But regardless again that was an insane run start to finish. you’re seeing these highlights and I mean that’s a good look at that 540 flare very end of the run to still have the energy and power to do that. Wow, Sam. But Samuel still has that second run. So if he works on his choreography, his timing, he might be able to improve. But still a 676. Yeah. Awesome Sam. Next up, we’re going to France to the south close to Montin for our next rider. That is going to be Luca Bear last week riding at the Ultimate X contest in South Africa. Now here in Japan for the last World Cup of the year, starting off with that 540 hitting the wall with a nice wall ride into that back flip. Taylor rolling down that spine. Double back flip sticks the landing. Keeps it going. Allea into the cheese grater flare. Oh, look at that. Nice gap by Luka. Front flip the driveway. Skiming that front flip. Yes, Luca. It seemed as he was going to come up a bit short on that front flip, but Luca had it all under control. 20 more seconds left for Luca Beth from France. 360 double tail whip. 15 seconds. And as you can hear it, Catfish has it as well. 15 more seconds for Luca Bon. Flare across the channel. Yes, Luca. Finish it out strong. What? Massive front flare into the cheese grater. Yes, Luca. That was awesome. And you see his stoke and the relief to get that run under his belt. Wow. I want to see in the replays how low he was flying. Yeah, he was skimming on that front flip across the driveway. Pretty much scraping his helmet across the top of it, but getting it done. Yes, Luca. That was a solid run. Let’s check out some of these replays. back flip, tail whip to get his party started and then into a double backflip. Yeah, Luca and then flaring from the elevated portion as he steps back into that vert wall right here. 360 double tail whip right here going across the channel with the flare and then this cherry on top of his run right there. Front flip flare in front of the judges making a statement as he pulled it. Yeah, Luca score coming in 77.5 moving himself to the top of the list. And then our final rider in heat number one. Kevin Fabra from France [Music] getting himself in the zone. And here we go out of the Eagles perch. Roasting 360 tuck noh hander right into 720 bar spin clean as can be. Yes, Kev coming at the driveway truck driver coming into the elevated portion. Massive step down spine back flip bar spin. Yes, Kev. Front flip bar spin. Yes. Aliu Flair traveling opposite direction of his spin coming back across the course. 360 tail whip going into the lip. Yo, opposite 360 bar spin. Yes, Kevin, keep this run going. Transferring into the box lip. Huge flare on the back of the spine. 360 downside tail. No, Kevin at the end of his first run. That will impact his score. Still 50 seconds of solid riding. Unfortunately, it went wrong on the last trick. That was right there. And then this is where having the best run format. Hopefully working his favor so he can come back and run number two. But let’s check out some of these replays. 720 bar coming in so clean right at the top of the landing. Huge backflip bar spin straight into the front flip bar spin showing the versatility. Flipping in both directions, tipping it forward, tipping it back. And then right here, 360 whipped it his regular way and then came back and did it the opposite direction with the bars instead of the whip, but just showing ability to spin in both directions. Then right here, this is where we’re wrong. So cased right at the top. Cased is when you leave your back wheel on the deck, whether it’s on the box or a spine or a quarter pipe. And so just hanging that up there. Bumped his feet off the pedals and then causing him to slide out. Ah, hate to see that right at the end. But I’m sure Kevin is happy to be in the semi-finals cuz what happened in Shangghai is his chain broke in the qualification. Yep. So he’ll come back run number two. Yeah. Back to the start of this heat. Back to Finn it move. The German powerhouse starting off with that 360. Oh, 360 bars spin. Tail up to another bar spin. Yes, I was not expecting that combination by Philip Mof. Keeps amazing us every contest. Double downside tail whip. The German team is going wild for Philillip. Cheering him on as he pedals here to Sakai. Back flip. Putting some more. Pushes in on the pedals. Come on, Philip. Faster, higher. And stronger than ever. Ready to hit the big box. 360 triple tail. Let’s go. Phillip still has 15 seconds on the clock. Philip keeps it going. 360. Noer. Final 10. Keep that endurance going, Phillip. To the top of the vert wall. Yo, 360 triple truck. Yeah, Phillip. Yeah, you see he’s stoked. Love to see him in the semiis and love to see him throwing down. That was a huge run for Philip. That’s a 360 bar spin into a tailup and then frozen an extra bar second. Wow. That was awesome. Double down side. Hey, and that’s how you get your German National Championship title. Scrubbing for that speed. And then right here, 450 over that driveway. Two, three times around. Boom. Hanging on to that bike. Let’s go, Phillip. Score coming in 73. So, we’re going to keep that 73 score from the first run of Phillip. Did not improve on that second run with the 5850, unfortunately. But still, had a couple areas where he didn’t get exactly what he wanted, but cool to see him pushing his own personal progression. Now we’re keeping it in Germany. The young buck from Germany, Lindaman, dropping in, ready to go full speed with that back flip. Double tail whip. A look at that. putting an extra pedal push in as he makes his way into the big wall right here into the gap and a whole cheese grater side to side. Lkin with the wall ride. Oh, 360 in the air. 360 tail whip catch. Tail whip. No hander. Halfway to second run for Alaskan. Scrubbing pocketing. Yo, super Andy pocket into that 10ft coming up into the elevated portion with that bar spin. X up down stepping into the vert wall. Back flip bar spin. Yes, Lars on it. 360 downside tail whip. Alioopen into the vert wall coming with the speed as he goes into the box lip. Yo, Ali 360 locking in the turndown on the back of the spine. Two, one, and that is going to be his time. Let’s go Lars. again taking it up a notch. First run, flip whip, single whip. Second run had two whips to start it off. So again, trying to put in those different components to boost this second run score. Let’s check out some of these. So right here, one, two at height. And right here, one, two, double truck to whip. Huge backto-back combo landing right at the top of that box jump. And then this gap, I can’t even explain. It’s hard like the camera doesn’t do it justice in how far that gap is and how he was blasting on it. And then right there, I love that so much. The 360 supers seat indie and then 360 whip catches it into another whip. Very technical pocketing right here into that 10foot with the super indie super seed India. I love it. Lars throwing down in run number two. Patiently waiting for those scores right now. Luke is on top of that 77.5. I just checked from up here on the judging tower and that gap that Lars did. I think it’s about a 20 ft 6 m gap that he did. So yeah, the camera angle did not do that justice. Blasting it. But right here, score coming in 75.62. So that is going to be a huge increase from run number one. He is stoked on that. Getting some hype from the team. Tomas getting ready to go. Giving it up to the Lord. Let’s go Tomas again. had an epic birthday session yesterday. Now ready to keep it rolling in the semiis coming out of that eagle nest. One, two, three whips coming down that massive spine straight into double truck. Come on Tomas carving around the keyhole coming at the copen spine with the 360 downside tail whip. Yes, Tomas clicking the look back over the fun box to the top of the verwall. 360 bar to downside tail whip. Squeaking that front flip in. Yes, Tomas. All you flare. Yes, Tomas. Keep this run going. X up. Box jump backwards. Flare bar spin. Come on, Tomas. Yo, flare down whip. Tomas is on it. 360ing that spine backwards. Last couple seconds of Tomas. Yo, inward. Yeah, let’s go. Back flip. And that’s going to be time for Tomas. Full pull. Getting some stoke from the fellow riders. Again, that’s what’s so cool about this. It’s a whole community. Everyone’s want everybody to be able to pull off their runs. And that’s a an awesome component of freestyle BMX. But right there, three tail whips to start his run off. So crazy right here. Coping the coping spine. So the coping goes all the way versus the elevated spine, which was a street spine and what he’s doing. But right there, 360 bar spin to downside right into this front flip. Squeaking it over the box. Let’s go Tomas right here. flare bar spin that UCI spine little int right there that 360 and barrel roll to cap off his run and that is going to be an improvement 61.75 showing his love again thankful to be out here make it happen you see his stoke [Music] all the way from the land down under. Always has a massive smile and you see that translate to his riding. He’s just enjoying it. Starting on the big spine with that big flip whip into the tennis and doing that as a goofy footed rider. I mean that is quite the trick. Big 360 nose dive across that channel gap. 360 bar spin also known as a truck driver. Back the other way around. Double 360 downside tail whip. Up nice and high on that wall. Pick up speed again. Hitting the cheese graater. Cheeky little wall right for Samuel Grace from Australia. Big flare. Ready to hit the driveway. 360 can. Oh yeah, Sam. Sometimes the devil is in the details when you add in, let’s say, the classic tricks. Then check this out. Roasting that player down with last couple seconds. Is it going to be within time? Oh, I’m looking at the judges and unfortunately it seems that 540 flare was just out of the time limit. Ah, he was trying to get there. So to give you an street to give you an understanding of 60 off that elevated portion. How this contest is judged. We have our judges and a head judge. The head judge will make will make sure everyone put in their points, but we also have our technical delegate from UCI keeping track of the timing and all the rules and regulations. And he said unfortunately that 540 flare did not come. But wow, what a run by Sam Wrace. A I love the ste on that 360. And there’s always something unique to good riders. There’s always something extra like a bit of zest in the run. Yeah, like I said, he just has so much stoke on and off the bike and just getting to see him that right there so big. That quarter is just over 10 ft. And that was a huge flare downside tail whip. Then that 540 flare which again was just after the buzzer and the UCI rules say hey you got to have both tires parallel to the ground for the trick to count. So again unfortunately that’s not but score coming in and it is an increase on his first. So he’s sitting with that 78.25. So he is stoked on that. Two more riders in this heat. The French cannonball. Luca Bon ready to drop in. Starting off with that 540. Luca Bong with the wall ride. Ready to hit the big UCI spine. Back flip. Double tail whip. Catches it straight to the pedals. Big back flip. Keeping up that speed as he goes up the wall on the other side of the park. Wall ride over the cheese grater. Gapping back to the higher end of the park. Oh, flare turndown. Oh, the front flip over the driveway. Oh. Oh, look at that. Using that wall extension as a wall ride going from ramp to ramp. 20 more seconds for Luca Bon. Yo, 360 double tail whip. Yes, Luca going over that keyhole. Come back at this. Coping to coping. Oh, going that flare over the transfer. Loving it. He’s got final five. Looking for this front flip flare. Wow. Yes, Luca. Another solid run for Luca. Check out some of these replays. spinning into that elevated portion right here. Back flip double tail whip and flare adding the extra turnout in. And whenever we talk about progression in a run, it’s also about having a different approach to your second run, which Luca did by adding the turnouts into his tricks. 360 double tail whip and the flare across that channel [Music] and then the front flare into the cheese grater. Those are so wild. 77.67. So improves his score by a notch and hopefully that will be enough to make it into the final cut of 12 riders. Still one more rider in this heat. Second run for Kevin Fabreg. He’s in the zone and coming out of that Eagles Nest. Huge 360 tuck no hander straight into that 720 bar spin. Come on, Kevin. Coming at the driveway. 360 over the driveway. Coming off the vert wall into the elevated portion of the course. Huge backflip bar spin landed so smooth right there into the front flip bar spin. Yes, Kevin Aliu player [Music] comes back across the course jumping the fun box backwards with 360 tail whip the vert wall and then right here opposite 360 truck driver going up to the top of the vert wall getting the speed to come from the spine into the box lip 360 bar spin. Yo, coming to the final five. Looking to wrap this run up. Front flip. Yes, let’s go. That’s got to feel so good to get the full pull after the crash at the end. [Music] Run number one. Yeah, sweet redemption for Kevin right there. Let’s check out some of these replays roasting that 360 tuck no hander right into the 720 bar spin back flip bar spin landing right at the top getting all the speed and then blasting that front flip bar spin like those two tricks getting linked back to back alley flare There you’re doing your trick in the opposite direction of how you’re traveling. Then right there, opposite truck driver and front flip to wrap up run number two for Kevin. And better get your coat on cuz it’s getting cold here in Sakai. So right now still in the lead is Samuel Grace with the 78.25 25 waiting for Kevin Paprek’s score to come in. But don’t be afraid. We still have 18 more riders coming up. Great look at the course. Then that’s the the judges working through everything to make sure to get Kevin the score right there. 74. So he will take that over his first run. And with that, we’re going to go to our next heat. They’re going to have just a moment to warm up the legs and get themselves into their starting positions. [Music] So, as they get themselves warmed up, we’re going to get to take a look at those highlights. Oh. Oh. Oh. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. And that was all the action from the first heat of six riders. Now we’re getting ready for the second heat. Our six riders just had a couple of minutes to get the engines running to warm themselves up again. Yeah, heat one got this party started off proper. Those were some epic highlights right there in the current standings after that. Sam holding down that top spot as he was flying around the course. Good mix of style and big tricks. And it’s so cool. You can see it on the top of the screen. All the riders giving each other knuckles, getting each other stoked. So again, this is a huge community, a huge family of riders as everyone wants to see their fellow Shredder put down the run they came to do. Let’s go. All gathered in the Eagles Nest. Let’s do it. First rider for team Canada will be Jeffrey Whley. Another World Cup regular getting himself in the zone and he’s ready. Let’s go. Jeff coming in. Huge 360 bar spin to tuck no hander. Yo, backflip bar spin to tail whip. Yes, Jeff. Coming back into the box jump that 360 whip. Yo, flare on the back of the UCI spine. 360 downside tail whip. Yo, tucking that transfer into the vert wall. Yes, Jeff scrub in the driveway to get himself all the way to the top of that vert wall coming into the elevated portion with a huge backflip. Double tail whip aka the helicopter. Triple tail whip. Jeff is on it right now. But let’s go. Hi into the box lip. Casing a little bit but keeping himself going as he comes into this 10 foot air. Boosting himself with the look back into the elevated portion. Flare down. Yo, what? Hanging on front flip over the fun box. That was wild. You can hear all the riders next to us gasp as he landed that front flip. Wow. Wow. What a move by the Canadian Olympian. Feeling it a little bit after that one, but keeping the dream alive. Hanging on. I think he can’t believe it himself. That run was wild. A couple things getting him off of his line, but still keeping it going. Starting off 360 bar spin to tuck no hander right into that backflip bar spin to tail whip. Awesome backto-back combos right here. 360 whip over into the box lip back flip double tail whip aka the helicopter straight into the triple tail whip over the box jump right here. That look back coming into the elevated portion, flaring back into the vert wall and then right here squeaking this front flip out over throws himself over the box. Hucking it. Score coming in for Jeff. A 60.75. And love the smile on his face. He’s going to come back for run number two again. a few things when he was coming over that box backwards hanging up or casing on that didn’t take him down but it threw off the speed of his run and the flow and so he’s going to have to come back and run number two but right now we’re going to go to Canada’s Max Shapur and he is ready to go Maxim Shif starting off with that 360 tail whip to nohander straight into the 360 triple tail whip nohander across the wall into the cheese raider picking up that speed again. No hander stretching the arms. Look at that. Straight into that flare 360. The driveway. Some very different approaches to that driveway setup. But we love what we’re seeing here by Maxim Shifu for the Canadian. Nice and high, ready to hit the box again. Back flip, tail whip, front flip. hitting every obstacle that he encounters here on the course. 360 nohander. We’re getting to those last 10 seconds. Double tail whip. One more. Tail whip. That was clutch right there at the end. Hanging on to that flare whip. and he is stoked to get that run handled. Let’s check out some of these replays. Starting off huge, getting full extension after that 360 tail whip with the tuck no hander. And then right here, 360 triple tail whip. Flying that transfer into the vert wall right here. So much height as he flares back into that vert wall. 360 whip the driveway coming into the lip. So again, we’re going to say that sometimes they’re going to jump in the traditional way or come back over the box jump or the fun box backwards into the lip which is going to be steeper than the landing. Then right here, that flare whip right before the buzzer. Max getting that run done in score coming in being rewarded for it. 82.32 huge for Max. Next rider, Nikita Finov, the bronze medal at the European Championships in October. And he’s been making quite a name for himself at the UCI World Cups. Yes, back flip hill into the bar spin. Nice gaffy with that triple bar spin. getting up high on the wall. All that speed converting it into that 360 downside tail up two bar spin. Double tail up across that spine channel gap. Nikita farming off soaring through the air here in Sakaya without breaking a sweat. Flare into the other wall using that driveway to pick up the speed again. Flare tail up into the creole wall. [Music] And we’re going to get down to the last seconds. No hander, triple tail whip, an alleyoop flare bar spin, and that will be time for Nikita Formino. Let’s go, Nikita. That was a dialed run start to finish. And right here, I love how he does it. So, back flip whip to bar spin. And then right here, back flip, bar spin to tail whip. Showing the ability to do either trick first or second. Then right there, three bar spins coming across that hip. 360 downside tail whip to bar spin. Double tail whip across that channel. One, two, three. Nikita was definitely on it start to finish in that first run. It’s crazy just the ability he has to do the different combos and how quick he is with the different tricks that he does and at the speed that these riders are racing through the park here. I mean, as soon as you land your first trick, immediately afterwards, that the next obstacle is coming up to you. You got to realign again to pull that second trick. But the way that Nikita made it happen, props, hats off to him. Dave Dawward having a bit of fun with the camera. Judges taking their time. And there is our score, 77.25. All right. And now we turn to USA’s Nick Bruce. And he is getting himself dialed in. And he’s familiar with this park competing at the first Olympics. And he’s in. Let’s go, Nick. Wow. So much hype. Backflip. Double tail whip. Air traffic controller. Let’s go. Nick coming on that cheese grater. Jumping into that elevated portion. Flare table down into the vert wall. Yes. 360 over the driveway. Love this curve wall ride into that UCI quarter. Such a cool line. Huge tuck no hander into the box jump lip. 360 over that spine backwards. Yes. Backing in on the ice pick on the subbox three table. Yes, Nick. He is on it. Opposite 360 back flip. Yes, Nick. Doing the curve wall ride. Tail whip across that channel. The spine one puted X up. Yes, Nick. Up to the top of that ver wall coming at the fun box. 360 double downside tail whip. Tuck no hander over the street through the coping to coping spine. And that’s going to be time for Nick. Wow. Let’s go. That was a powerful run from Nick. Let’s check out these highlights. Look at how high he goes on that backflip double tail whip. Different atmosphere right there. And then straight into the 360 backflip nohander, aka the air traffic controller. Look how high he goes on that flare table as well. Maxing out the height me and then getting technical, locking in on that ice pick right there. And we don’t see that too often. Riders actually using their pecs, especially when we’re getting to semifinals and finals. But luckily, big font. Let’s get creative. Get that into the mix as well. Yeah, I love it. It’s risky. And that’s a big sub right there. Yeah. Make sure you got your speed coming at it. And Nick was holding it down right there. Wow. Such a rad for Nick. And score coming in 89.75. Yeah, Nick, our new leader. [Music] And what a gap between him and Maxim. more than seven points. Yeah, that was a big run. That was a big run. He came out swinging and handled business. Next up will be our first Japanese rider today. And the crowd is going absolutely wild for him. It’s going to be Showa Matsumoto. Showa is a very fun dude to ride with. when he came through AZ, we got to get some laps at the local park. But right now, Showa is in huge backflip. Tail whip 360 triple bar spin. Tail whipping into that vert wall. Tire grab. Spinning that wheel backwards. Getting seizy with the ground chuck. Roasting that 10 foot with a double bar spin. Spinning into the elevated portion. blasting that quarter and that 360 bar spin back flip bar spin. Showa keeping it going. Alioop flare. Yes, Showa shaking his head. Something must have happened. He got maybe got off of his run a little bit. He’s going to call it right there. Conserving energy maybe cuz his bike looks okay from up here. Could be that he was not on his his perfect line, maybe. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of these riders have a a run planned out in their head, and if they get off that line a little bit or something didn’t work out, it’s hard for them to to get back in it. We’ll check out a couple of these highlights. See, as he keeps he looks at his bike, if anything’s going on with it, there’s anything that we can see. Right there. The tire grab. I love it. spinning the wheel backwards. Ground chuck right there. Steey trick right here. 450 up back flip bar spin. I mean, looked like he landed good right there. And then that was into the valley of Flair. Doesn’t look like he’s checking out anything on his bike. So, must have got off of his line. Want to see him come back strong in run number two again. So stoked to have him out here. With that, we go to USA’s Bryce Tryion, the nice guy from Loi. Another goofy footed rider. So pay attention to the way that he spins and then check which foot is front facing. Okay, Bryce. Bryce is stoked. He’s ready to go. Japan is ready. Sakai is ready. Judge is ready. Let’s kick it off here. The Bryce Tryon show. Double backflip. Yes. So clean on that. Let’s go, Bryce. Up and over that driveway. Picking up the speed for that big gap. No enter to bar spin. Cranks in extra speed on that big flare straight into that back flip. Bar spin to noander. Bryce Tryion is on a mission. He wants to be one of the golden 12 for tomorrow’s finals. Yo, locking that 360 look back in 360 one footed tabletop. [Music] Yes, Bryce. Keep it going all the way to the end. Five, four, three, two, one. Back flip. Turn down. Looking to see if that is coming in. And probably hear catfish in the back. That was after the buzzer. So again, got to have those tires parallel with the ground. If they’re still on the ramp at all, it’s not going to count. You saw him trying to get get there on it. He knew it was going to be close as they’ve timed out their runs. But right here, this back double back flip. He landed so clean on that. Oh, and then his this big gap, no hander, bar spin into that extended quarter pipe. back flip bar spin to tuck. Going a little bit deep, which means he landed low on it. It’s different ways that we’ll call it, but yeah, going deep or going low. You want to try and land as high on the transition as you can. It’s all about the like that three that 361 ft table. He landed right at the top of that street spine with so much ste. Yeah, Bryce is such a rad dude. You see the the stoke as he got that first run done and so he knows he’s going to be able to have a few areas where he could build on. But regardless, that was a great start to his semiinal party out here in Sakai. And waiting on those judges score coming in 70.80. 8 Z. So that is going to have him currently sitting in ninth place. So he knows he’s going to have to put in a little work. Come handle business in run number two. We’re going to go back to the start. Canada’s Jeffrey Whe. Jeff getting himself in the zone, visualizing the run. And here we go out of the Eagle’s Nest. 360 truck driver to tuck no hander. Backflip bar spin to tail whip. Up to the top of that vert wall coming into that box jump lip. 360 tail whip. Flare on the back side of that UCI quarter. 360 downside tail whip. Transferring with a tuck no hander all the way into that vert wall. Scrubbing that driveway. Go way up. Come in with the speed. Back flip. Double tail whip. Huge helicopter right there. Three tail whips. Let’s go. Jeff linking these combos back to back. Cut back over the course. Got the speed as he comes into the 10 foot. Tuck no hander. Back into the elevated portion. Flare down. Coming to the fun box. Front flip. Yes. Final 5 seconds. 360 over the coping and coping spine. And that’s going to be time. Jeff cleaning up from run number one. 360 bar spin to tuck no hander right into the backflip bar spin to tail whip. back-to-back three trick combos. Then 360 whip into that box jump lip, back flip, double tail whip, again known as the helicopter right into the triple whip. Flare down. And then look at that. The front flip. And he’s not doing it perfectly straight like he’s putting a bit of a twist into it. Getting it done. Definitely landing that one a little cleaner than the first. Just definitely been putting in work. Checking out the big screen. Waiting for that score to come in. And here we go. Score coming in 69.5. So again, bumping him up from that first run score as he cleaned up different components of that run. Now we go to his fellow Canadian teammate Maxim Shalifur. Let’s go Max. Huge 360 tail whip to Tuck. No hander. getting that full extension right into a 360 triple tail whip. Bar spin to tuck no hander transferring into that vert wall coming across the cheese grater. Yes, Max gapping up into that elevated portion. Huge flare down 360 tail whip over that driveway. Yes, Max going coast to coast on that wall ride. Yo, 360 double tail whip over the box jump backwards. Oh no, sliding out. He’s good. So that’s going to be it for Maxim Shalif second run. Unfortunately that crash messed up the second run. So hopefully his points from the first round will be more than enough to venture into tomorrow’s finals, but that will be not up to us. That will be up to the wise men and women up here in the judging tower. Love that extension he gets on those tuck headers and handling business with that 360 triple tail whip and then flare down into the park again. 360 double tail whip that couldn’t get his front foot on the pedal as he landed. Cause him to slide out. But again, he knows he’s got a solid first run score. So, he’s going to stick with that, which currently has him sitting in second. Anything can happen at these contests, but from the way I see it, this could be a position for finals. [Music] Next up from America back to European continent to Nikita Faminov. Here we go. Watch his combos. He is quick with all the different tricks like that. Back flip tail whip to bar spin and then back flip. What? Bar spin to double tail whip. What? going in. Like I said, he is so quick with those tricks. That was wild trying to squeak that double tail whip in after the bar spin in the back flip. Wow, Nikita. [Music] So, if this is your first time watching a BMX contest, if you have a crash this early in competition in your run, it will affect your score. on a very big scale. So that why that’s why Nikita decided not to ride anymore in that second run. So hopefully this score from the first will be enough. Let’s see. Squeak this in. One, two. Ah, the crank spun. So he he had his right foot on on the on the crank. Couldn’t get the left foot on. Again, in these semifinals, it is one run counts. So, he had that first run, which has him currently sitting in fifth place, and that is going to be the score that he keeps right there. See if that’s going to be able to hold up as we keep working through this semifinal, looking to cut it down to 12 for the finals. Look at this canvas these riders have to work with. It’s crazy all the hips, the different lines. But right now, we’re going to take it to USA’s Nick Bruce all the way from Ohio. An absolute unit. Nick Bruce amaze us with the ice pick with the 360 nohanded back flip. Let’s see what he has in mind for the second run. Nick Bruce dropping in with that 360 backflip. Oh, look at that into the curved wall right getting that speed. Next gap coming up downside tail whip flare down again hitting the driveway. Oh, barrel roll. I mean, he’s already in a very comfortable position with the 89 points sitting in first right now. Ice pick and he’s going to call it, I think. That is when you know when you’re really certain of yourself right there that first run he threw down everything that he wanted to do in these semi-finals. So, in that second run, you saw him just kind of working through his line, trying a few new things, see where where he could throw in the things that he has in mind for the finals if that first run score keeps him in that position, which right now he is in a commanding first. I mean, mathematically, if the 12 next riders from the heat number three and four would ride better than Nick, well, you know, could end pretty bad for him. But, I mean, with that score, I’m pretty certain he I love the line that he’s using with those curve rolls, both in and out of the curve wall, especially the one coming out of it when he jumps out of it into that UCI quarter. This is a rad line to watch. Showa Matsumoto halfway point at first run. Decided to call it. Something was off. We’re not sure. Was something off with the bike? Something off with the line he was riding. But anyway, he gets a second chance. That second run for the Japanese wonder kid. Dropping in, picking up the speed back flip till start things off with straight into the 720 bar spin. Yeah, show up. T-bach toboggan twisting the bars. Holding a seat. Grabbing a seat on that one. Double bar spin. Show Matsumoto. Yeah, show. Nice and high. Ready for the big spine again. 360 bar spin to Can combining all the classics in one big combo. Yo, Aliu player. Can can X up coming into that box jump lip looking to fly on the 10 foot locking in that turn or the tobogen 360 bar spin to Can yo 360 tire grab loving the style show is bringing to the course. He comes with his final five coming over the box backwards flare bar on the back. of that spine. Looking to see if that was in the time, but awesome to see Showa get the full pull for run number two. Love the style that he brings to the course, his variety of tricks, even to the little details. Not only stopping the tire in the tire grab, but pulling it backwards. Let’s check out some of these replays. Truck driver to Can back flip bar spin. Yeah, show right here. Flare bar spin on the back of that UCI quarter right at the end of his run. Again, hyped to see him get a full pull in run number two. It’s crazy. And all of that at the age of 16. It’s wild. Very bright future. Very bright future for that young man. Absolutely. But now Showa will have to wait and find out his score. See what the other riders will do on this setup. So, as we said, only 12 riders will make the cut, will make it into tomorrow’s finals. See that minute minute long run takes it out of you. The score coming in 68.67. We’re going to go to our final rider of heat number two for Bryce Tryion. [Music] See that smile on his face now? Getting himself in the zone, visualizing the run. He’s ready to make it happen. Let’s go, Bryce. Out of that Eagles Nest 360 double truck right into that double back flip. Landon so clean gapping all the way into the vert wall. Keeping that speed as he comes across the driveway scrubbing so he can roast this huge tug. No hander into that pocket coming into the elevated portion. Flare down it. 360 double tail whip over the fun box. Yo getting steey over the channel. Let’s go Bryce. All the way up to the top of that 17 ft verwall 360 tail whip into the box lip. 360 look back coming over the spine backwards. Wall ride on that back sub. Yo, love the style on that 360 one-footed table. Yes, Bryce putting that combo down. Alub flare. Yes, Bryce, keep it going. Tuck no hander over the box backward. Fun box backwards to the top of that vert wall. 360 turndown and it looks like that or sorry I said 360 backflip turn down over that fun box is not going to count again those tires have to be parallel to the ground in the UCI’s current buzzer rule but again regardless solid run for Bryce let’s check out these replays starting it off that huge 360 double Double bar spin right into this double backflip. You see him spotting his landing and then bringing it around clean. Then huge tug no hander going into that pocket 10-ft quarter flaring down out of that elevated portion right into this 360 double tail whip and then yeah I’m stoked we get this highlight getting so steey coming across that spine channel then keeping the ste going with that 360 one-footed table right into the back flip. Barsman tuck no hander. Valup again showcasing the combos as well as the stylish tricks. And I love how Bryce is able to bring that to the course with his riding. He’s waiting to see where those judges put them. He wants to make it into that final tomorrow. Score coming in. [Music] Looks like he’s going to stay with his first run score of a 70.80. So with that, we are going to get that third heat of riders out and warming up. That was some heavy riding from heat number two as Nick gets himself up to the top of that leaderboard. So these guys are going to get themselves into the start, but let’s check out some highlights. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Hey, heat. Hey, heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Hey, [Music] hey, hey. [Music] Hey, [Music] hey, hey. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] So those who are our two first heats that are down already and we have our current standings after heat number two. Still 12 riders to come but for now if this would be the end result this is how it would look like. Nick Bruce still leading the pack with the 89.75. Maxim Chalukan second. Samuel Grace, Luca Braw, Nikita Finov, L Kinderman, Kevin Fabre, Philip Moot, Bryce Tryan, Jeffrey Wheaha Matsumoto, and Tomas Dhul. All these riders had their two runs, had their chance to display their tricks, their expertise here on the course in Sakai. But 12 more riders to come. Let’s go. And we’re going to start off heat number three with Great Britain’s Jordan Clark. And he’s been here a week already. Also competing last week in the Scooter World Championships, taking the Vice World Championship title. Look at that. Jordan Clark starting off with that 720 bar spin. A nice bar spin into the wall. Right. Big double downside tail on that hip. Yeah, Jordan X up. And this man can combine the big tricks with the classics. Look at that double back flip. Wow. I was not expecting a double back flip over that feature. Double truck. Wow. Justin getting that player on the back of that UCI inward flip. Wow. I don’t know. It’s one of the scooter tricks. I can’t remember the exact name, but wow, Jordan Clark taking over here in Sakai. Bar spin back up again. 10 last seconds for Jordan Clark, the scooter prodigy now on the BMX bike. 540 flare and time. Jordan with a dialed first run. His timing on it was huge. Getting that 540 flaring right before the buzzer again. I was not expecting that double flip on that fun box. That was crazy. And especially with how well he landed, it’s easy to go deep on that box. And he was able to keep that double flip right at the top. Starting with that backflip bar spin right into a 720 bar spin double downside then right here. Was not expecting this. Not on land that as clean as he did is so crazy. hanging on on that double truck driver coming into that box lip but able to adjust keep himself in the mix and get that flare on the back of the UCI spine front flip over that driveway and then right here 540 flare spotting where he needs to land and putting it down right at the top of that quarter pipe. Wow, Jordan score coming in 87 even. Getting him into that second place spot after run number one. Getting some knuckles from Declan and Greg. And with that, we are going to go to Slovenia’s Yaka Ramik. He has been on a mission. comes through with some insanely powerful riding. Very excited to see what he throws down in run number one as he gets himself dialed in. And here we go. Starting off with a huge backflip tail whip right into the 360 triple tail whip. Yes, Yaka transferring into that vert wall. Getting the T-bog over the cheese grater hip. Gapping up into the elevated portion. Looking for a tuck. No hander down. But here we go. Front flip over the driveway. Yes. Yaka. Yo, player down. Ah. No. No. Sliding out. Coming off his bike. Ah. Glad he’s right back up and on the bike. He’s got 20 seconds left. see if he wants to keep rolling around, try and get as many points as he can for this run. It looks like he’s going to save the energy for the second run. And it is best run counts in this semifinals. And he got away quite well with that crash. Didn’t seem too harsh on him. But I want to see what happened on that flare downside tail whip. That’s where it went wrong for Yaka Remets from Slovenia. 360 triple tail whip [Music] and then front flip and then he’s going to head into that quarter into the wall. So let’s see. Flare downside tail whip catches Oh, n was just a little bit back heavy. So, he’s trying to hang on to it, but the bike just getting away from him. So, score coming in 24.25. And he’s looking to have that be his throwaway run. But now we’re going to go to Eric Resim. A I love his smile. He is always so hyped. [Music] And he has some crazy combos as he gets in the mix with that back flip, double bar or double tail whip into a 360 triple tail whip. Whipping that bike around, going coast to coast on that wall ride. Scrubbing over the driveway to blast into that 10ft. Yo, cranking the turndown, gapping into that spine landing 360 double downside tail whip. Eric while riding the cheese grater gapping into the elevated portion with a tuck no hander. Yo, foot jam clean as it gets right there. Straight into a 360 double downside into a backflip double tail whip. Yes, Eric as he comes into the final portion of his run. gapping across getting the speed for the can can on the 10oot double downside tail whip can can and that is going to be time for Eric and he is hyped to get that run under his belt coming out swinging just has the tail whips on lock his ability to do them so quick right here Backflip double tail whip straight into this 360 triple tail whip. Hanging onto that one right here. Scrubbing so he could blast this pocket. And then right here this one the speed. I love it. He’ll crank that turn down. Cranking the bar pretty much 270° over fully clicked. Fully clicked. You want to at least get it 90. But right there, Eric getting it proper. Clicking it 270 degrees. Then right here, no hops. Clean on that foot jam. [Music] Back flip. Double tail whip. And Eric just has so much fun on his bike. Yeah, that turn down was huge. We see people hitting that and hi and back up, but not many going all the way across up and over into the spine landing. So, see how the judges reward him coming in with a 78.02. 02, which has him currently sitting in that fifth place spot. Now, our next rider earlier this month honored as the new world champion in BMX Freestyle on the Park, Anthony Jeanja. First time sporting that jersey in competition. Starting off with that backflip double tail whip. The riding rainbow 720 X up into the wall. Picking up the speed again. Riding over the cheese grater. Bar spin gap into the upper part. Flare bar spin. Yes, Anthony. Triple tail whip. 360 downside tail whip. Anthony Jeanja currently sitting so clean in the World Cup leaderboard in the third place. Still has a chance to win the overall title as well. Yes. Oh, opposite footed tail whip. Last second sticking by for Anthony Jean Jean. Oh, Indian air flare downside tail whip. Last seconds pedal over the spine. It’s Anthony Jean John’s new party trick. I mean, that was a run worthy of a world champion. Yeah, he came out swinging right there. Definitely not holding back. as he tries to get himself into tomorrow’s finals as well as being in the running for that overall ranking for the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup. Checking out these replays. 720 bar spin. Flare bar spin back down out of the elevated portion into the triple tail whip over that fun box. One, two, three tail whips by the Frenchie. Here we go. Look at that. going into the alley flare from the corner into that wall and the Superman se kicking the legs out. The Indianire as we call it by Anthony a career shaped by Fast Picked up the BMX bike after watching one of the competitions scoring a solid 84.37 points. And we are ready. Now we’re going to go to Great Britain’s Jude Jones. And he is riding on a mission. He has been riding so powerful and very excited to see him put down this run as Jude gets in the mix. Wow. Triple tail whip to start things off right into a backflip bar spin tail whip. Let’s go, Jude. Look at the speed that he has. Double dump side tail whip. Oh, look at look at that gap to see do that gap right into a backflip double tail whip. Yo, 720 look back. Let’s go. Yes, Jude. Like I said, he has been on a mission right there. Back flip over the driveway. Coming back into the elevated portion. Front flip over that spine. Yes, Jude. What? 360 kickless. Yes, Jude. Coming back into that box jump lip. 360 tuck no hander over the spine backwards. Fast plant. Yes, let’s go. Gapping down coming at this 10 flip from flip flip. Signature Jude Jones trick right there. Wow. But we have to we got to have another look at that 360 kickless cuz originally that is a scooter trick. Wow. Wow, Jude Jones. She perfected it on the BMX bike. That was insane from start to finish. Getting some stoke from Greg and Declan. That was insane. Absolutely ripping. Let’s check out these highlights. Starting it off, triple tail whip right into the backflip bar spin to tail whip. Landing clean on that. The double downside tail up here on this side of the park closer to the cheese grater back flip double tail up. And then I think the next one is going to be at 720 turndown. And really crank that turnound around as well. Front flip. That’s wild. Front flip on that spine is crazy. 360. And what he does is so he whips his frame 180° and then pulls it back in. Fast plant. Love the ste on that. Cool way to utilize that subbox. The front flip flare. What a way to cap off the run right there. And score coming in 85 05. Got him sitting in third. That was a huge first run for Jude. And with that, we’re going to go to Brazil’s Gustavo samba on a BMX bike. Let’s go, Gustavo. also one of the Olympians here on this Olympic Park. And watch how high he goes on everything. Let’s go. Gustavo on it right now. What double bar to tug no hander as he transfers in that 360 can. Yo, Tbogen, watch this line. So cool. Transferring down. Yo, double tire. Yes. Tail whip over that hip right in front of the judges all the way to the top of the vert wall. Coming back into that box jump lip with a tail whip. The tuck no hander. 360 double bar spin. Can can back down into the fun box. Oh, half bar paying Hamash to Ryan Nyquist. That is so wild. Alu Flair with the bars backwards. Gustavo absolutely on it right now. Techno hander flare that 10 foot double tail whip and that’s time. Wow. [Applause] Such an awesome run. Love the mix of style as well as crazy combos. got the big tricks and the style on that driveway. That was a Watch this though. So thing of beauty right there can excuse me. This full extension just floating in it at the top and then back flip double bar spin to tuck. No hander. Getting full extension on those hands. Just so quick with the bars. Double bar to tuck again. Full extension. And then this is where it gets really fun. His racing line. So rides up the box, keeps the momentum going. Then double tap tire grab to tuck. Noer. Yeah, I love that line and how he cuts across the course with it. Tail to tuck coming into that box jump lip. 360 double truck with the bars backwards on this flare. And it’s so difficult to explain how hard it is to ride with your bars backwards and then to do an alley flare with them backwards is crazy. It changes the geometry of the bike completely. So his ability to control it and handle business like that is wild. Score coming in 83.37. So, back to the first rider of this third heatord, one of our two team GP riders, Jordan Clark, the scooter kid, starting it off. Already has the silver medal from last week in the scooter world championships. Triple downside sail whip. Quick little flip on that hip and he’s going to call it. Jordan Clark. So, he’s probably going to keep that score from the first run has a faith in it that it will be more than enough. Right there, you see him. He knows he went super deep on this first trick. barrel bar. And then watch, he travels all the way down to the bottom, making himself compress a little weird, and throwing him off of his run. It was looking to try and keep things going. He got that triple downside tail whip, but then things just weren’t what he wanted. He knows he threw down a solid first run. So, I’m sure the judges will need less time than after that first run. 12 points. So, we’ll keep it at 87, which currently has him sitting in second place. But now we go to Slovenia’s Yaka Remick looking to get redemption after that first run. Come on, Yaka. We’re with you. Let’s go, Yaka. Visualizing the run. And here we go. Yaka is in. Backflip tail whip. 360 triple tail whip. Yes, Yaka. Tuck. No hander. Back into the vert wall. Tbogen over the hip in front of the judges. transferring up into the elevated portion then going down with the tuck no hander into the driveway with the front flip. Keeps it going. That flag. Oh, not again, Yaka. Not again. Oh, and he’s just a little back wheel heavy on that getting ejected off the back of his bike. Ah, [Music] never want to see that happen. Feel for Yaka in that, man. Yeah. [Music] Check out these replays. So clean with the 360 triple tail whip. And I mean throughout this run, he is on a roll. Everything is going well. Good execution, great lines. Then here, this is where goes wrong. This is a flare downside tail whip. Getting his feet back on the bike, but again, so I fear this is weight leaning over it. A little back wheel heavy and just sliding out in that Yaka. I feared Yeah, that is the end for the weekend for Yaka in competition. Unfortunately, still making it into semis is a task in and of itself. So, he’s got to keep his head up high as we go to Eric Resv. Eric dropping it from the Eagle’s Nest. All that speed into the backflip. Double tail whip into the 360 double tail. Oh, misses the pedal. Triple but keeps it going into the driveway. picking up that speed for the big grand the gap. Yes, letting go of the hands and then tuck no hander. Nice click turndown and a 360 triple tail whip. Misses the pedal again and he’s going to call it. But still, what a feat by Rita. Wanted to clean up that on that 360 triple whip. but also on a second try. Unfortunately, missed the back foot. And he wanted to go for a perfect execution because if you land a tail up on the cranks, that’s good. If you want to land on the pedals, it’s even better. [Music] Wow. Able to keep his foot off the ground. Still not where you want it. You want to get them on the pedals, but be able to keep it off the ground and keep things rolling. And then right here, 360 triple. What happens? Ah, again, keeping the foot off the ground, but his shin is on the pedal and he’s got him completely compressed. So hard to come back from that to keep the flow of the run going. So, currently sitting in eighth with that 78 and hoping that’s going to keep him in the top 12. But we will see as we now go to France’s Anthony Jeanjan. Anthony dropping in rocking the rainbow jersey that he earned in Riat 720. Ali to the acts up again doing that transfer in his opposite direction adjusting his body position to stick the landing flare bar spin triple tail whip. Come on. He got a hold of himself again. Second run here for Anthony Jeanjan. Using that driveway to pick up the speed for the big gap. Yes. Superman seed grabbie. Love that. flare downside tilt on top part of the park. Pedal stall over the spine. This must be an inside joke with some of the other riders here. And Anthony Jeanja is going to call it for his second run. [Applause] [Music] Yeah, just getting off of his run right there. Right here. Check out the highlights. Back flip, double tail whip into that 720 bar spin. And then right here, he’s going in his opposite direction. That X up. And that got him a little got a little squirly, but he was able to hold it together. Keep it going. Huge flare bar spin down. Then right into that triple tail whip again. Landon so clean is that pun box is easy to go deep on. So showing that control in his air awareness 360 downside then right here. Love this super C grab. Indie into that 10T pocketing into it. So again, his first run score was an 84.37 and so that’s the score he’s going to hold on to. Mathematically, Anthony Jean is in for the final. Next up will be Jude Jones for Team GB amazed us with the 360 kickers in that first run. Now we’re getting ready for the second run of Jude Jones. Starting off with that triple tail whip straight into a nice and lofty back flip. Landing a bit low, losing a bit of speed, but decides to keep it going over the keyhole. I think he’s going to use the rest of his run to try some new stuff maybe. Oh, nice 360 one footed tabletop. His knee against that top tube. That’s the way that we want to see it. According to some Instagram pages, he’s just having fun here. Love it. Extending on that back blip. Oh, Manuel getting a bit street. Disaster. All right. All right. Oh, first rider to do a trick to fakey. Love it. Having some fun. giving some stoke to the crowd as he went deep on that backflip again. Came out with such a heavy run number one. He’s in a comfortable position. So there we had that triple tail whip and then here we have the backflip. And as you can see, he lands quite low. Quite the impact as he lands, losing that speed. Oh, but I love it. keeping things going, having some fun, just enjoying this Tokyo Olympic Games course. Look at that. Making it a bit of an under flip. So, he’s going to stay with that first run score, which has him currently sitting in third place. So, mathematically, Jude Jones will be in tomorrow’s finals. And now we go to Brazil’s Gustavo. Again, watch this first trick. So, high huge Gustavo. Massive one-handed table. We are just getting treated right now. Just hanging out on that double tire grab to tuck no hander. And this is the same case as that we saw with Jude. He’s already in a position that he is qualified for tomorrow’s final. So, he’s just here to have a bit of fun, try out some new lines, some fun stuff, some quirky stuff. Oh, hand plan. Oh, one in the ass, one in his spine. Infinity fakey. Come on. Come on. Fakey bars. Fakey bars. Hey, let’s go. Yes. Gustavo. I love it. Oh, you know, Dustin, as so much fun just to watch him flow around the course. And as Gustavo did that really high one-handed tabletop, I was looking to my left where our technical delegate is sitting for UCI, Bart Young, and he was his jaw just dropped. Wow, that is so wicked. Crazy. Look at that. Look how high he goes. We got to get a tape measure out for that. I mean, right here over the top that Bert Wall stands 17 ft tall and the quarter he’s coming out of, it’s about 6 and 1/2 ft tall. Just to give you an idea of how high he’s launching out of everything across this course. that the 180 over the spine. Then the infinity fakey all the way to the other side of the park. And then boom, fakey bar spin. You see the smile on his face having fun. And that first run score currently has him in fifth place, which means he will be into the finals tomorrow. So he knew he could have some fun with that. Uh, now we’re going to get that final heat of riders out, get them warmed up, get them dialed in. Six riders that we have here, including another rider that is up for the overall World Cup title, Justin Dao, and some other familiar faces. For example, the winner of the last World Cup, the last stop in Shanghai, Nakamura. Justin actually took that Shanghai, right? But yeah, we got him out there. They’re getting themselves warmed up and ready to go. And that points race is crazy. So, there’s a lot on the line with what’s happening. But let’s go back and check out some highlights from heat number three. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Down. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music] And welcome back everyone to the FE World Series to the last stop, the third stop of the BMX Freestyle World Cup here in Sakai, Japan. We just wrapped up our third heat, third heat of riders, but we still have six more riders coming up in the last the fourth heat. But still leading the pack from heat number two. Nick Bruce with the 89.75 points, followed by Jordan Clark and Jones. The lower half of this ranking, these guys are in the danger zone. Yep. As those top six riders are going to be into tomorrow’s final. But now we got our top six qualifiers looking to solidify their spot in tomorrow’s final. But wow, heat number three was insane. We got treated to some wild riding and we know it’s just going to continue with all the craziness as we move into heat number four. These guys just finishing, warming themselves up and getting into their starting spots across the course as we get these guys locked and loaded. [Music] Very excited to see what each of them has as they take to this crazy canvas we have before us. Wild all the different hip lines. Again, the speed that you have to carry to make all these different transfers and gaps happen is pretty intense. But with that, we are going to go to our first rider, Anar Ali. And he’s ready to go. 720 bar spin to start stuff off right into an opposite triple tail whip. Wow. Anar. Let’s go into the flare. Honor Alf the man on a mission. He’s been making a name for himself at the last World Cup stop in Shanghai. Oh, 360 double tail whip truck driver. The pressure is on. Only six more spots for tomorrow’s finals. Come on, Anna. Keep that speed up. Keep that momentum going in the last 10 seconds of your run. Back flip bar spin. Let’s go. Anar time sticking. Oh, 540 flare. looking for that alley 540 player at the end of his run getting sucked into that wall sliding out in it. Good to see him back up. He’ll be able to regroup and come out in run number two again. The beauty of the semifinals is that it’s best run counts right here. 720 bar to start it off right into a triple tail whip in the opposite direction. 360 double tail whip alooping into that box jump lip right here. 360 downside tail whip right into a triple tail whip in his regular direction and how he kicks the tail whips again. Traditionally you kick your tail whips with your back foot and then right here alley 540 flare. Look how like he pencils out his body. Yeah, I just need a little bit more rotation. Sliding out. Glad he’s good again. Be able to recoup and come back in run number two. Try and get redemption out here in the semiis and see if he can get himself into that top 12. Next rider, winner of two contests in one day, winning the World Cup in Shanghai. And just a couple of hours later, taking the win in the spine competition is Justin Dowel doing it for Team USA. Starting off with that back flip double bar spin straight into the 360 triple tail whip. Getting nice and high on that wall. The bar spin into the wall right. Keeping that speed up. Flare bar spin into the lower bottom section. Back flip the driveway. Come on, Justin. Yes. Wall right across that gap. Clean coming into the box lip. 360 tail right into a massive 540. Tuck no hander. Wow. Justin is on it right now. Yo, 360 bar spin to down whip. Carving over that keyhole getting the speed. He comes back into the box jump lip. cranking that turn down right into a 540 flare on the back of the spine. Truck driver to X up over the box jump alley flare. Wow. [Music] And if I’m brutally honest, Dustin, this is not a Justin that has fired all cylinders yet. I know he has more up his sleeves, but he definitely does. But that was an awesome run right there. It’s it’s a game of strategy now because you want to rank high enough and still keep some energy for tomorrow. Look at that back flip. Double bar spin 360 triple tail whip there. The flare bar spin into the lower section of the park. Back flip in on the driveway. Then right here. Oh, so good. A textbook 540 nohander takes all the time for the rotation to extend those arms. 360 truck to down whip 540 flare. Still able to get that truck driver to X up over the box and then alu flare right there. Solid run. jacket back on for Justin right there. And again, he is your current overall points leader looking to keep himself in that first position. And that is something that we still need to talk about, Dustin. It’s the leaderboard in World Cup. So, currently in first, it’s Justin D with 1770 points. Scores coming in now 86.17 for Justin Dao. Next rider from Australia will be Alec Danaludi and he’s such a powerful rider. He’s been handling business on this course. And right here, here we go. Boom. Massive 360 double tail whip right into 360 double downside. Wow. Double tail whip transferring into that vert wall. Tuck no hander. Yes, Alec as he transfers up into the elevated portion. Huge whip. Flare tail whip down. Let’s go Alec. Look at the driveway. Flip. Huge flare. Yes, Alec. Full extension on that tuck no hander coming into this 10 foot. Oh, looking for that turn down 360 truck to tuck. Here we go. Yes, Alec is on it. Alu Flair lacing all these tricks together in a almost perfect run so far. Last couple of seconds for Alec Danloody. Double tail whip flare. Unreal what Alec Dan Ludy is doing. And that is going to be time for the man from Australia. Getting that first run done right there. Look at the height. that 360 double tail whip right into a 360 double downside tail whip. And then this is crazy, that gap double tail whip into that vert wall from the UCI quarter. Huge flare tail whip. stepping down out of that elevated portion right into front flip over the driveway and then truck to tuck over the fun box hip. Wow, locking in that tabletop. That was an awesome run for Alec right there. Yes, he is hyped right there. He is hyped. I mean, this is a ticket straight into the finals tomorrow. Next up, it’s our Olympic champion from Paris 2024, Jose Torres Gil, also known as El Malinho, the bad one, dropping in. Starting off with that backflip, double tip, getting some amplitude in. Noander transfer. Oh, look at that double tail whip. 360 downside tail whip. Jose lacing all the tricks together. Hitting every obstacle on its way to Bog in the driveway. All that speed ready to hit the box again. Bar spin to noander. 360 double bar spin, also known as a double truck driver. Oh, 720. Yes, Jose. Keep it going. Tuck no hander over that channel. Coming back into the box jump lip. 360 double bar spin coming into the 10-foot. Huge downside tail whip coming into the elevated portion. Flare bar spin at the buzzer. And that’s going to do it for Argentina’s Jose Torres Gil. Let’s go, Jose. [Music] and he was really the star of the summer of 2024. The only Argentinian rider bringing back home a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Had the honor of carrying the flag at the closing ceremony. So, let’s see how did Jose perform here in Sakai. 360 double downside. The amplitude on that tuck no hander into the vert wall from that UCI quarter. And that is a signature thing with Jose like he’ll always try to find for one of the more technical gaps and then add in that extended the amplitude that he brings is crazy. And love the way he does his 720s. Starts it quick and then stalls it out and just has a cool uh signature style to how he does that. I think what he does is he he lets his body open up as he gets into the second rotation, slowing him down. Flare bar spin at the buzzer. Little Vader foot jam. See the smile on his face? He’s stoked to get that run under his belt right there. See what the judges have for him. see eagerly anticipates the score and it’s coming in. Got him in sixth place with an 84.65. That’s stutter ticket to the finals tomorrow potentially. Still got two riders left and see if they can mix that up. But if it stays as it is, absolutely. Right now we’re going to Japan’s Remu Nakamura. And the Japanese crowd is going wild for their homeboy. Starting off with the signature back flip, triple bar spin combination, the flip-flop, double tail up into the wall and then all that speed get nice and high on that tobogen. Yo, Rim Nakamura, also known as Japan Airlines. 720 turndown flare into the wall. 360 Can getting some good extension on that leg. Barsman into the lower part of the park again. Oh, 360 windshield wiper. [Music] He is on it right now. Keep it going, Rim. 360 tail whip coming into that box jump. Yo, going off of that huge downside tail whip on that 10 foot. Yes, Rim. Final five. 810 flare on the UCI. right after the buzzer on that. But wow, [Music] what a massive run for rim right there. So much height all around the course. That 720 bar turn that was crazy. And then yeah, starting off with that back flip triple bar spin. We go check out the highlight of it. Two, three times right into a backflip. Bar back to bar again. Is hanging on to it with that one hand slanging them. So many combinations right here. Blasting this tobogen into that 10-ft court. It’s so crazy. And then I love this again jumping into the spine that tug hander after. But right here, 720 bar. to turn down. That’s crazy. And then that windshield wiper. It’s where you kick your tail whip one way and then back the other. Where these young riders go and he is their inspiration. floating in that downcinal [Music] tomorrow. His home country and since we don’t have Marcus Christopher or Dylan Hessie here this weekend, Rim is still up for the podium absolutely the World Cup leader board. But that is something that we will find out tomorrow. Ranked in first place getting himself a 91.37 breaking into the 90s. First rider in this semiinal to break that 90 point barrier. But still one more rider to go for that first run and that is going to be Kaid Ozawa. Number one qualifier coming in. Oh, that was a close call. So thankful to see him back on his bike. Cased on that 360 tail to bar spin. came up a bit too short, but he’s going to keep on riding to keep the muscles warm. Oh, look at the height on that. Crazy. Sometimes it’s better to get back on a horse after a crash. Yeah. I mean, and use that time just to map out your run. Try some stuff that you have in mind for the second run that you still have. And that is what Kaid was doing. Use that time to do a bit of his line that he had in mind and also to to check on your body. It’s a bit of a diagnosis that you’re doing after a crash like that. Maybe you hurt your knee, your ankle. So, let’s see. 360 tail whip to bar spin. Ah, encasing the top, bumping his hand off of the grip. So, sliding out in it. Saw him kind of working the wrist and checking in on that. So, he rolled over. So, again, that’s going to be his throwaway run. They’re going to come back, get redemption in run number two. [Music] They go to Anar. as he looks to throw down and get redemption here in run number two. Come on, Anar. 720 bar to start it out. Right into a triple tail whip in his opposite direction right here. Double down side flare bar spin coming in with speed to carve around the keyhole. comes into the box jump lip with a 360 double tail whip. Coming back across. Keep it going. Anar. 20 more seconds. 360 bar spin over the fun box backwards. Oh, back foot tail whip coming over that coping coping spine. Alioop Flare comes into the final moments of his run. Tail whip. [Music] That’s going to be time for Anar. [Music] Now Anar is currently sitting in 22nd after that first run and the crash that he had on that 540 flare. And he will need 78.27 27 points if he wants to make it cut into the final 12, the golden 12 for tomorrow’s finals here at the Feast World Series. Sakai, get a look at some of his highlights. 360 double tail whip right there. Back flip tail whip. [Music] You can see it on the screen as well. He needs 78.27 and he gets a 55. So again, he got himself off his line a little bit, but he’s got a smile on his face. He’s stoked to be out here. He made it to semiis making a name for himself. But I am stoked to get to see Justin’s second run. Justin Dow currently in fourth. So that means he’s already qualified. Wow. Yes, Justin on it right now. Bar spin up into the cheese grater. See gaps up into the elevated portion. Flare bar spin down out of the elevated portion. Back flip over the driveway. Going coast to coast. Wall riding over the vert wall. 360 tail whip coming out of the box backwards into the 10-ft massive 540 noander 450 bar spin truck to downside tail whip coming over the keyhole as he cranks a turn down into the box jump lip 540 player on that UCI spine 360 bar spin Let’s go, Justin. I mean, that was huge. Started that off with backflip, triple bar spin that time. So, boosting up the difficulty level. So, we’ll see where the judges put him for run number two. But, let’s check this out. One, two, three times right into a 360 triple tail whip. going so high in this flare bar spin [Music] 360 tail whip into that box jump lip then right here thing of beauty 540 tuck no hander full extension textbook 540 noander 540 flare in the back of that UCI spine [Music] He’s hyped. He already had an insane run number one and quite the season winning Shangai fourth in Mier. Yeah, he has been having an awesome season which has him in that first spot overall. Score coming in bumping up again. He added more difficulty to that and getting rewarded for it. 88.50 which has him in third. But now we’re going to go to Australia’s Alec Danaludi. Currently ranking in sixth after the first run for Alexi. Starting off with the 360 triple tail whip. No hander into the wall. Wall riding that cheese grater. Picking up the speed again. No hander. Flare taking it nice and easy on the driveway. Flare bar spin. No hander getting some proper extension in can’t get the turn down that time. Let’s go. Alec 360 nohander. Oh, throwing him rather late. I love to see that. hanging on to it and keeping it going as he comes into his final 10 looking to roast that 10 foot with an awesome tabletop. Yes, Alec into his final thought player. And that’s going to be time for Australia’s Alec Danaludi. Let’s go Alec. [Music] Let’s check out some of these replays. So, one, two, double 360, double tail in the 360. 360 downside tail to tuck no hander and getting full extension. He locks those tuck no handers in. Just so tall. Has a crazy wingspan. Just flying around the course. Oh, folding that tabletop. Shin on the top tube, locking it in proper form. So, will he improve and jump from the sixth spot in the finals to a higher one? And now it’s all about strategy and tactics because the benefit that you have, the higher you score, the better your rank. That’s going to give you the option to ride as the last rider in a heat in a finals. [Music] Run number two for our Olympic champion. Back flip, double tail whip. Yes, Jose. 720 bar spin. No hander into the wall. Double tail whip. Yes, Jose bar spin. Flare bar spin back into the lower part of the park. It’s a bargain. Oh, getting nice on the wall again. Picking up that speed. Bar sphander. Barrel roll in the spine back alleyooping down out of that elevated portion. 720 over the fun box. Wow. Tuck no hander going over that spine channel right here. Barc the 360. Tuck no hander coming into the 10 foot just floating in that downside tail whip. Yes, Jose. Bar spin up into the elevated portion. Flare bar spin right before the buzzer. And yes, foot jam tail whip after the buzzer for the fans for the fellow riders. Let’s go. Yeah, Jose. Wow, that alleyoop from that elevated quarter into the vert wall was insane. His tire. Did he graze the top of it? I I think so. We’ll see if we see it in the highlights, but that was crazy. I think one of our mobile cameramen might have gotten a good shot at that one. I really hope so. Look at how high he is. So crazy the amplitude that he brings to the course. Linking those combos back to back. Bar spin to tuck. No hander at height right there. barrel roll in that spine backwards. And then I think here we have Oh, no. We did not get the aloop. 720 bar spin flare. And then just for the crowd, the foot jam tail whip. It wasn’t within the time limit unfortunately, but it displays by control. Just stoke having fun out here. So ranking in seventh right now and we’re going to keep his initial score to 84.65 Jose Torres Gil. So he’ll have to wait in suspense to see what happens if he’s able to make it. And now our highest ranked rider in this finals, Rim Nakamura, still dropping in on that second run, putting up a show for the locals here in Sakai. [Music] That is so crazy. Wow. Rim. I think he’s he’s breaching the airspace here. Up in a different atmosphere, just floating around this course right now. He’s just having fun just mapping the course, maybe getting inspired about tomorrow’s finals. [Music] 360. Nice and easy. Love how he comes off of the back of that spine to get the air on that 10 foot 360. And that is going to be time. Flare [Music] rim just treating us. Little flow around the course. So crazy. That pocket into that 10 foot is insane. I want to know what that feels like when every rider that has been doing that gap has so much air time. Even throwing some extra tricks in. [Music] Yeah. Right now, Rim has that top spot. Just having some fun with the crew again. The BMX family just hanging out, cheering each other on. [Music] Wow. Way up over the camera, man. All right. This landing. It’s so clean. And then it’s crazy the speed that that brings for him to jump back up over the top. excited to see what he brings tomorrow in finals. And one more rider, Kaid Ozawa crashed on the first trick in the first run. So now all chips are on the table. Starting off with that 360 tip bar spin. 360 windshield wiper. Yes. Lu flare 360. Oh, double truck driver. Yo, Lub to Bogan. Yes, Kaid. 360 downside. Caleb. Come on, Kaided. He needs the points if he wants to make the cut in the final 12 for tomorrow. Halfway the second run. So far so good for Kaido Ozawa. Triple power spin. Yes. T-bog back into the UCI spine. 720 bar spin. Keep it going. Hold on. Kayed. There’s only one more spot in the finals. Will he lay claim back to the final ticket? Yo. Wow. That was clutch. Everything was on the line right there. Sweet redemption to start the run out with and then kept it going full throttle all the way to the end. Oh, you can see the relief and the stoke. We still got to wait and see where the judges are going to put him. But it’s got to feel good to have that run down. So again, redemption right there. 360 tail whip to bar spin. Then right here, 360 whip to whip back. [Music] 360 double bar spin. Alioop toboggin. This is a steey trick right there. Huge triple bar spin. Just slanging them. 720 bar spin right there. Getting that clean. Back flip. Taylor Blandon right at the top of that spine. Back flip double bar spin. Wow. And still right now Kaid is the lowest ranked rider after the first run. We’re waiting for the scores to come in. And there’s one more rider in the danger zone and that is going to be Riza. But if Kaid has more than 87 uh 78.27, the final spot in the finals will be for Kaided. We’re checking the judges table. I can see the fingers putting in the points for Kaid. And as soon as Brian Kachinsky pushes the button, we will see Kaid’s points and the question will be answered. Will Kaid make it into the finals? Has been an insane night of riding. All these guys just putting down. Now we wait in suspense to see if he’s going to crack himself into the finals. and he does within 83.65 getting himself into the finals. Sweet redemption after that first run coming in clutch and lace in run number two and you see his stoke. It’s a lot of pressure when you qualify first to try and keep the dream alive and he does just that and we will be seeing him in tomorrow’s finals. So for tomorrow’s semifinals, we’re going to go from bottom to top. Samuel Grace is in the finals. Maxim Shalifu, Gustavo Batista, the Olivivera, Kaido Ozawa, Anthony Jeanjon, Jose Torres Gil, Alec Danludi, Jude Jones, Jordan Clark, Justin Dael, Nick Bruce, and the highest ranked rider in today’s final, Remu Nakamura. Dustin, what a semiinal that we had today. Wow. Unreal. We definitely got treated this evening and I cannot wait for the finals tomorrow. What? Tomorrow the milliondoll question will be who will take the final stop here in Sakai in the World Cup and then who will be the winner of the World Cup general? because right now it’s going to be the race between Justin Dao who is sitting at 1770 points and in right after him it’s going to be Anthony Jeanja at 1720 points. So it’s only going to come down to one position. So if Anthony takes a win here in Sakai, it’s going to be the World Cup win uh leaderboard for uh for Anthony as well. If Justin wins, it’s going to be for Justin. But that is a question that we will answer for you tomorrow. We still have one more show on the program and that is going to be the Flatland men’s finals. Dustin, I want to thank you for your expertise here today at the semifinals. I will see you again tomorrow for the women’s BMX freestyle finals and the men’s finals. Yo, let’s go. It’s a blessed to be out here and can’t wait to see and we have a crazy story line that has been built and now it is going to culminate in tomorrow’s final. So, it’s going to be crazy. Let’s go. Okay. I want to thank you all for watching. See you again. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music]

  1. Judges are pure joke. Phillip Muth run was incredible, but underscored. Jude Jones and Jordan Clark best runs of contest so far, clearly more complex and technical.
