American Blown Away By Vietnamese Hospitality!! š»š³
Good morning. Hello. You have a beautiful town here, Tay Yen Tu Just getting on the road. Going to have some breakfast. It’s a beautiful little town here. Got the mountains off in the background. Right here is basically Main Street. Pretty quiet right now. But we’re going to get on the road. We’re going to cycle 106 kilometers today. I hope, to a town called Lang Son It’s going to be a tough day. I’m looking forward to it. But first, we’re going to have some breakfast. Let’s go eat. Oh, it’s too early. No, thank you. I think it might be just water. What? Okay. Okay. I’m going to eat. Let me grab my phone. I’m not sure. Is that water? Is that water? Sit and drink wine. Ah, no, no, no. It’s wine. Yeah, of course it’s wine. I’ll drink, but I’ll sit. Let me see. I’m looking for some breakfast and some coffee. No, thank you. No, thank you. No, thank you. No, thank you. I put myself in a nice situation here. Um, I’m hungry. Ah, no thank you. No thank you. No thank you. No thank you. No thank you. I know that’s rude, but 9:00 a.m. I’m not going to do that. Do you have a menu? Sure, I’ll take one bowl. And do you have coffee? Yeah. Coffee over there. Okay.
So, only food here. Okay. I think that looks this one. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Uh, okay. All right.
I think that’s fish. I’m pretty sure that’s big place, too. pig womb Okay. Okay.
Okay. Toi. Okay. I think that might be intestine. Stomach. M. Okay. Chewy. Still chewing. Let me get my water. Hold on. Brought another chair over. So you sit a little higher maybe. That’s good. That’s actually good. I like the soup. Thank you for sharing your food with me. It’s okay. It’s okay. Thank you. Thank you, brother. Thank you, brother. Thank you. Good bean sprouts. It’s good. That’s solid. Oo, look at that. Oh, that looks pretty damn good. I think this is the only placeĀ open in the whole town, too. Okay, so perfect. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Little bit. Yeah. Okay. Perfect.
They can show me how to do it. No, no, no. I’m sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. No, thank you. No, thank you, I thought he was asking if am I alone? No, thank you. Um, I can’t Oh, a beer. No, thank you. Today, today i’m cycling today I’m going to cycle over 100 kilometers. He’s like, “So, what are you doing today?” So, you just finished work and so nowĀ
it’s time to relax and have some drinks. Add a little bit of Okay. Okay. Okay. Show me how it’s done, man. Show me how it’s done. What did I just eat? This is the pig’s womb. Okay. Thought he was going to be like, “No, man. You’re eating, you’re eating the ballĀ sack of an animal or something weird. You think you’re eatingĀ
intestine, but no, those are nuts. It was very nice meeting you guys. Thanks for sharing your table and your foodĀ
with me, and thanks for inviting me to sit down. Okay. So, have some breakfast, haveĀ
some drinks, and go to sleep. (because they told me they worked all night) And I want to leave this andĀ
help pay for the boys meal. Okay.
Okay. Okay. Yes. No thank you. No thank you. I’ll have some tea though. All right. Cheers. Thank you. Thank you, man. Thank you. It’s okay. It’s okay. Thank you. Hey, thank you. Thank you. And uh coffee. Cafe. Cafe. Cafe. Cafe. It was right there. Okay. All right. And I found this place right across the street. Let’s get some coffee. Cafe. All right. Cafe. What a nice place. The milk tea house coffee. Uh, wow. Look at this fancy. They got a stage up here. I’m sure they do lots of karaoke in the evenings. Uh salt coffee Okay. Oh thank cha. Thank you so much. Yeah tea drinking is a veryĀ
common practice here in Vietnam. I’ve noticed everyone pours you a hot cup of tea. Ooh. Very strong. Very bitter. Nice and creamy. Thank you. And I love towns where the main road justĀ
looks like it goes straight into the mountains. Looks like you got what I need, man. Boom. All right, found the fruit stand. Got the fruit. We’re ready to go. I got some mangoes, the soursop, I think isĀ
what it’s called, and uh couple dragon fruits. Oh, look at that. Is that a snake or an eel? What is that? Did it escape from the market somewhere? Like that’s a that’s a funky looking guy. Okay. All loaded up. There’s my sticker. Oh, he just threw my sticker down on the ground. Oh, my sticker. My sticker. Hello. What do you have? Oh, tapioca. No, yeah, that’s me. That looks good. Ah, but. What about some tofu? Might be a good idea just toĀ
have some some protein later. I’m not sure how much it’s going to be. give you for free. No, no, no, no, no, no. Wow. man.
It’s heavy. It’s a heavy heavy. Oh, it’s hot, too. It’s really hot. I did not expect that. It’s hot. Okay. Wow. Thank you. Thank you. You’re welcome. You want it? No.
Thank you. No, thank you. I’m sure it’s good, though. Hey, and the boy. Give me the boy. Hey, come here. Hey, give me the boy. Oh, yeah. Right there. Yeah. Give me a high five. Hey. All right. Thank you. Thank you guys. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. All right. Beautiful town. Beautiful people. Man, got to love the countryside. Got to love the vibes out here, man. So much better than those touristy towns, man. On the road again, seeing thingsĀ
that I may never see again. What is this plywood? What? Just a bunch of strips of uh wood right here. Yeah, never seen that. And I cannot decipher this sign right here. What is that trying to tell me? I’ve seen that same signĀ
without the stripe through it. Where you from? America. Perfect English. Got to love it, man. Got to love it. Beautiful out here. All right. A new province. Maybe a new city. Crazy. 100%. This was the site of a landslide right here. Mudslide. So, there’s been a lot ofĀ
rain lately in this area. And the town that I’m going, I was looking at a video last night onĀ
YouTube and it was completely flooded. I think a dam broke or something andĀ
just completely flooded an entire area. I don’t know if it’s if it’s the areaĀ
that I’m going to, but we’ll see. But, man, you can tell right here. Took out the guardrail right there. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. So, got to be careful, though. We got blue skies. It’s sunny. And the forecast calls for no rain. So, we should be good. Should be good. It’s not stopping that guyĀ
from going fishing down there. I tell you what. I mean, I know I’m going to do this a lot here. I’m going to stop like, “Wow,Ā
look how beautiful it is. Can’t help myself.” And I don’t know, to be honest, IĀ
thought I would find more houses that look like this one on theĀ
bottom here throughout Vietnam. Instead, you find houses like that. And so, a lot of beautiful homes outĀ
here, even out in the countryside. See, here is that same signĀ
without the mark through it. Looks like another happening little town here. Cho means dog, but it alsoĀ
the O could be different. So, I don’t know. We’ll see what’s going on back here. They’re kind of laughing at me. Let’s just go see what’s going on back here. All right. So, I’ve been wanting toĀ
buy one of these actually. How much 5? I think it’s only 50. It’s too small. Yeah. Too I need a I got a I got big big head. Big head. big. She’s like, “What are you talking about, dude?” Okay. Oh, I like that one. I like the leather strap. Five mam. Okay. Oh, cuz it’s a It’s a lot better quality. That’s why. I think I’m just going to go with the 50. I think I’m just going to go with the 50. They got a little pharmacy right here. Even you can come get your clothes. Hi. Hello. Yeah, man. I don’t know if I need that, though. Get your shovels and tools and Yeah,Ā
I’m not that hardcore, unfortunately. Come get your popcorn. But man, I love this building here. It looks uh like it was built maybeĀ
during the French colonial period. Super old. Maybe Cho just means market. Turn it into a little department store. Come get your clothes, whichĀ
they’re all new here, too. Check it out. Burerry Hello. Burerry, not Burberry. Gucci, do Cabana. Adidas, North Face, you they got all the brands. I see all the old-timers. They’re wearing the theĀ
hat with the leather strap. So, I might as well justĀ
get the the proper real one. It’s only 150. Yeah.
I want to change the good one. Yeah. Yeah. What’s your name? My name is Nick. Nick.
Nick. Nick. Nick.
Nick. What’s your name? My name is Nick. My name H. All right. Got a little hill here, butĀ
I got some cheerleaders. Hey, I’ve picked up a posse It’s a bridge. You know what that means? Turn the camera on. And looks like we’re goingĀ
into another small town. Nice and sunny today. It’s getting hotter by the minute. It’s only 10:45, so be niceĀ
to have lunch sooner or later. Hey, we can stop in a little safer. Hey, nice to meet you guys. Good to meet you. Peace out. Yeah, it’s funny. Every once in a while I’ll ride by someone, theyĀ
wave at me, and then they’ll get on their bikes and hug me down, say hello, take a picture, andĀ
if they do that, then they deserve a sticker. I think my first Red Bull. Awesome. Thank you guys. Goodbye. Bye. I haven’t had a Red Bull in probably 3 years. I honestly can’t remember the last time. I try to stay away from energyĀ
drinks, but they taste different here. They taste even more harmful. Goodbye. See you again. Jeez. Now that is a load right there. Wow. Hello. Hello. Hello. I’m not sure what this is, butĀ
that lady just gave it to me. Okay. It looks like porridge, too, with corn in it. And then I guess these are some nuts. Uhhuh. Okay. Okay. Some nuts. Okay. It’s not sweet at all. Oh, I guess there’s that’s the sugar. I didn’t order this. Okay. Ah, so I think it has some. So, no. Hey, there’s two little boys or girls. That might be a girl. Hello. Girl. Okay. Girl and boy. Hello. cutie Okay.
So, maybe there’s sugar mixed in in it. Hello. Hi. Hello. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. You’re looking at me like, who are you? Okay. They kind of look the same. It’s time for me to eat. All right. Is this your mama? Go back to mama. Hey, now this one’s hot though. Oh, this one has more of like a aĀ
chicken and dumplings flavor to it. Yeah, this tastes exactly like chickenĀ
and dumplings without the dumplings. So, yeah, all the all the pores obviouslyĀ
are going to taste a little bit different. They’re not going to be the same. So, even if I had this for dinner lastĀ
night and I have it for lunch today, two different restaurants, two differentĀ
styles, I think it’s going to be okay. Not the easiest thing to eat, butĀ
this will give me some real power. This is like nothing but protein right here. Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day. And the name of this place, Amazing. Beautiful people, good food. If you’re in this smallĀ
little town, come say hello. All right. Ah, we got some kite flyers. Nice. Appreciate it. Sting number one. Sting is number one. Better than Red Bull. Very good. Okay, appreciate it. I’ll put that right there. The jackfruit. Dang. My name is Nick. Wow. I mean, I’ve seen jackfruit soldĀ
at the fruit market and uh yeah, but I’ve never seen a treeĀ
full of jackfruit like this. Look at the size of those things, man. My name is Nick. Hello, boys. Crazy. Big. Big. Let’s see here. Wow. I’m from America. Nice to meet you guys. Nice to meet you. I will say the kids have been extremely friendly. I haven’t seen one middle finger. I haven’t seen one like jokingly,Ā
you know, telling me to f off. Um, you know, you do see thatĀ
sometimes in other countries. I think it’s a lot of times it’s the youngĀ
boys like just maybe copying their older brothers or maybe they heard itĀ
on TV or in a in a movie or whatever. But honestly, I haven’t had one kid likeĀ
flip me off or say anything derogatory. They’ve all been super friendly. Hey, hey, hey, give me the peace sign. Is that a vape? I think that’s a vape. Little too young for that, but see you guys. I think that was a vape in his hand. Getting hunted down again. These these boys came from a long ways away. I’m a good I don’t know five kilometers from town. Nick Yeah. Nice to meet you. Yeah. Yeah. You want a sticker? Hold on. Let me give let me give youĀ
guys a sticker real quick. Hold on. Hey. Cheers, guys. How old are you? So, that would be 13. I see a lot of young kids ridingĀ
electric scooters like this. Do you also have a bicycle? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. For how many years have you beenĀ
riding this electric scooter? Three years. Three years. About three years. All right, guys. Guys, it was very nice meeting you. Thanks for coming and saying hello. I wish you all the best. Study hard. Okay. Okay. See you guys. Nice to meet you. I’ll tell you what, man. Ever since I left like Ha Long and the big cities, my experience here in VietnamĀ
has gotten so much better. Like exponentially. Loving it. Horsey trying to get a good rub down there. Is he? Yeah. Maybe they’ll have some ice cold drinks. Pocari Sweat anywhere. Aquarius. Come on. Give me a sports drink. Give me a sports drink. I think I need to eat this before I smash it. We got a village party. Uhhuh. My tent. Nice to meet you. Just a little a little bit little bit. Okay. Cheers. Okay. Yeah. I just want a little bit. I don’t know. Tastes like water. Tastes like water. Hello. Happy wedding day. Cutting up some chicken. Some duck. Duck. Hello. I think I’m a little early. What time does the wedding start? Uh, I don’t have good reception. I’m sorry. It’s nothing. Nothing. Uh, I just want to have a quick look around. What are they What are they serving up? Got the peppers over here. Peppers looks good. Peppers over here. We have some rice. I think some rice. Some rice. Okay. All right, man. And here we have the watermelon. We got the watermelon, peppers, rice, the chicken. Everybody working hard back here. Not sure what that is, man. Oh, huge pig of something over here. Wow. And then check out check out howĀ
many ducks they have over here. Or chickens. I think they’re ducks. No, maybe they’re chickens. Chicken. Yeah, man. Whoa. Yes. invite Western friends hereĀ
to eat with the family. I have a dinner. I have a dinner. Yeah. Yes. Okay. Let’s see. Uh it kind of depends on what’s going on. I wanted to go all the way to Lang Son,Ā
but then life throws you a curveball. You got to go with the flow, right? Here we have the big pig. Yeah. Crazy. Wow. And then over here all the shrimp. Hello. Oh, nice. I mean, they are ready to go. Lots of shrimp. And over here we have the noodles. And the veggies. Squash maybe. No. Yeah. Look at that. They’re going to have a feast today. Yeah.
What’s in the pots? Wow. Wow. Hey. Okay. I think that’s pork. Yeah, that’s that looks Yeah. Okay. Oh, cheers. Man, this is bitter. It just sticks to the backĀ
of your back of your mouth. Wow. It’s okay. Let me get a water. Water. Water.
Water. Yes. Oh. Oh, that’s the wine. The first thing I had in there, water. Oh, yeah. Okay. All wine apparently. I’m good, man. How are you? How old? All right. I know what a lot of you guys areĀ thinking is like, man, stick around. Stay for the wedding. Man, situations like thatĀ
can be kind of exhaustingĀ Ā because you become the center of attention. God, I have cotton mouth, man. I think too too many sugary drinks today. And then that sake back thereĀ
didn’t help that rice wine. Oh, buddy, you need a bath. Oh, man. You see a lot of that in Vietnam, too. You see the cutest small dogs justĀ
roaming around like the the cuddle, snuggly type dogs that should be on a couchĀ
somewhere like snuggling up with uh somebody. Hey.
Hey. But they’re out here roamingĀ
around and they need a nice bath. They need a nice grooming. I like this. Every once in a while, a kid willĀ
just ride with me for, I don’t know,Ā Ā 10, 15 minutes and be like, “All right, peace.” I like the I enjoy the company, man. Thank you. Hey, we got two more. Okay. picture. Picture. Okay. You’re making deliveries. That’s what you’re doing. Ah, okay. Good luck. Nice to meet you. Yeah.
This is Amazon in Vietnam right here. Yeah, man. Absolutely stunning out here. Beautiful. And uh my day is about to get a lot harder. I knew he was coming, but I got a nice IĀ
don’t know 350 almost uh 400 meter climb. Shouldn’t be too bad, but All right. So, first of all, I really hope thisĀ
road uh leads me to where I need to go. It’s kind of off the mainĀ
road, but by going this way, by going this way, I don’t haveĀ
to go over an extra mountain. And so I get to hug the mountain andĀ
hopefully at the last minute to go over it. Hello. And it might give me anotherĀ
might give me another opportunity. How are you? Hello. I’m happy. Giggly kids. Um yeah, might give me anotherĀ
opportunity to go through a small village. Hopefully. Nice little school. Hopefully the road doesn’t cutĀ
out on me like it did last time. But uh back there I noticed there wereĀ
some flags and people wearing bandanas and uh apparently it’s just for a funeral. Gorgeous. What a day. What a day here in Vietnam. I have to tell you been a wonderful day. Wow, he’s got a fully roasted pig over here. Look at that. Wow. Wow. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. The the entire entire village came out. Hello. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Where am I? What What is the name of this village? What’s your name? What’s the name? No, my name is Nick. Let me see here. What is the name of your village? Nice to meet you all. I wish you all the best. I will see you later. Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye. See you. Incredible. I mean, honestly, I have no worries like beingĀ
stranded somewhere in one of these small little town, small little villages, you know, just basedĀ
off the welcoming and uh the reaction of people. Like it’s one of those things if IĀ
was broken down, my bike was busted,Ā Ā I guarantee you they would open up theirĀ
house to me and and that’s honestly a very wonderful feeling knowing thatĀ
people are here just so kind andĀ Ā uh seeing nothing but smiles, nothingĀ
but nothing but good vibes to be honest. And uh I’ve got me another posse I love it, man. And they live in a beautiful place, too. Look at this. Are you kidding me? Hey, you guys live in a beautiful place. See you. Yes. Thanks for your help. Thanks for uh they gave meĀ
a push actually up one hill. See you guys. Take care. They followed me probablyĀ further than anyone else today. See you guys. I dropped off two bikes and uh picked up one. Oh man, I think. Oh, no. It’s this way. Okay, good. I thought my route was that way. No, it’s not. Got a little scared there. Come on, guys. Push. Push. Come on, guys. Can’t beat that, man. Hey.
Hey. You guys deserve it, man. Thank you. Legends, man. Surprise. Do you already have one? Thank you. Oh, right here. Man, thank you. Thank you. Thank you, guys. Thanks for pushing me up the hill. You guys are legends, man. again. Got to love the love here. It’s been incredible Wow. You know, just out for an eveningĀ
stroll with my water buffalo. Ay. And that is what’s scary, right? How is this going to work? She going to slap his butt. Yeah. Get on over there. Don’t mind me, guys. And look at the rice terrace is beautiful. It’s really flat and peacefulĀ
and feels so good right now. But I have one more climb to go. Hopefully, it’s not as bad as uh what I just did. And I don’t have them kids to help meĀ
push my bike up the mountain either. And I would say today I finally feltĀ
it that feeling like man you are out there you know like you got to work to get here. Not many people come here and uh comingĀ
to places like this is just special. It’s different. Feels different. Oh those are big animals. I’ll let them go where they want to go. Man, this is like the final boss of the day. I’ve got about I don’t knowĀ
half a half a kilometer left. We got this. We got this. Man, the only thing on my mind for theĀ
past 15, 20 minutes were these mangoes. I was like, just get to the top and we’reĀ
going to enjoy probably both of these mangoes. Hopefully they’re good. I’ve been saving them for this moment. Yep.
A little early. As you can see, I’m losing daylight. All right, 24 kilometers left. Still got a ways to go. Let’s get there. Ah, feels so good. Getting a little sloppy over here. Pretty muddy. What do we have here? What’s up, dog? Hello. No. Food. Food sounds amazing. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Okay. Vietnam. Vietnam. Ah, thank you. Nick, my name is Nick. My name. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Okay, let’s go eat. Let’s go eat. I’m very thirsty. Okay. I’m very very thirsty. Thank you. Thank you. Your name company? My name is Nick. Nick. Nick. Okay. I’m from America. America. Nice to meet you. Okay. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Nice to meet you. Wow. Hello. Okay. Vietnam today. Today happy happy day. Happy happy. Oh man. Hello. Okay.
Okay. Okay. No, there’s no way. No way. No.
No. No.
No. Again. All I want is water. around. All right. Okay. Okay. in the ground. You’re going to hear my voiceĀ
when I shout it out loud. I don’t Only one song. Huh? One song. One song. One song. No, no, no. Okay, thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. I’m Thank you. I got enough food. Yes. Okay. Come on. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Come here. I see you. Thank you, man. What an experience. Are you kidding me? That was crazy. Okay, I’m finally getting close to my destination. I’m on the I’m on the main road here, but I don’tĀ
think I need to be on it for long, which is good. Okay, so I’m pretty much onĀ
the outskirts of town by now. Finally. Now, we just need to find a hotel. Lang Son, I made it. Mhm. Yep. That’s exactly what it looks like. I was uh cycling down the road and I saw kimbapĀ
and I saw tteokbokki and I was like, why the hell not? Let’s see how VietnameseĀ kimbap and tteokbokki holds up. Let’s see here. You get chili sauce, mayonnaise, maybe ketchup. That’s a big Hmmm Obviously very different. Very different. They put that shaved uh I thinkĀ
it’s shaved pork in there. Man, I tell you what, that was not it. That was not the dinner I should have had, butĀ
it’s about the only thing today that missed. Today was fantastic. Unbelievable day. Stick to the local Vietnamese food, Nick. Unless it’s like a really fancy Korean restaurant. Probably not a good idea to try it. I kind of walked right into that one, man. I couldn’t I couldn’t finish theĀ
day with a sorry dinner like that. That was not a very good kimbap and tteokbokki So found a hotel, showered up, cleaned up, walkedĀ the streets a little bit, found this place. She was grilling up some delicious looking bread. I love it when they latherĀ
it up with the sauce, too. She got some chicken feet and I don’tĀ
know, chicken skewers over there. And I was like, can you makeĀ a couple chicken bahn mi And she was like, she just shook her head. And these came out. And let me tell you, they’re freaking delicious. Very simple. Grilled chicken, cilantro, delicious bread. Way better. Home. Sweet home. Oh my gosh. What a day. I think today might be easily myĀ
favorite day here in Vietnam so far. Uh just an incredible day. One of those days that kind of reminds me. This is why I like to travel. This is why I like to do YouTube. Just crazy. Uh one of the hardest daysĀ cycling over 100 kilometers. But man, from start to finish,Ā met so many amazing people. Um, just I don’t know, it wasĀ
just one of those great days. And uh, it kind of finished kind of roughĀ
like being in the dark, not being able to see. The dark sucks because you miss out on so much. Like I was in such a beautiful areaĀ
and all all you can see is the road. Like luckily I have a good light andĀ
so the only thing you can really seeĀ Ā is just in front of you and it’s just pitch dark. Hardly any street lights and so the theĀ
worst part about the the darkness is yes of course it’s dangerous but at the same time likeĀ
you’re just missing all the beauty around you. Uh everything was good. Great day. Um I think this will be an amazing video. At the same time, that doesn’tĀ
mean it’s going to perform well. And so, if you enjoyed thisĀ video, please give it a like. Tell me what you liked about it. Leave your thoughts in the comment section below. And uh yeah, I think if I have more days likeĀ
this, I’m going to love Vietnam even more. And so, great day. Anyways, signing off. I’m exhausted. See you in the next video. Peace. You hear that?

If I have a nickel for every American that randomly end up in a viet nam wedding lol
To sure with u, at 24' in your video, i think u misunderstood the men who was in the wedding. U though that u were not invited in the wedding but that was opposite( u are invited). When u asked him that u came soon in the wedding and he said the u could come back later to enjoy with them. But u thought that u were not allowed š. Vietnamese people are absolute friendly and happy too (everything comes from the heart). Enjoying ur trip in Vietnam!

In Vietnamese, there are five tones and eleven vowels: "aĢ, aĢ, aĢ£, aĢ, aĢ" and "a, Ä, Ć¢, e, ĆŖ, o, Ć“, Ę”, u, ʰ, y" that can change the meanings of the word. For example, "cho means to give," choĢ means dog," chƔ̣ means market," chĆ“Ģ means location, chĆ“Ģ naĢy means right here." So now you know Vietnamese words with different tones or different vowels, they have different meanings.
Have a safe trip Nick!
Where are you broš funny
I am a bit confused who paid for who for the offal soup ? It was an eel not a snake . That sign means the exit of the town. The name of that village is Dong Mo . Your mango was not ripe enough to eat . I sure it was a bit sour . October 20th is the lady's day in VN . It's why they celebrate . In Lang Son you should try the roasted pork and the BBQ duck/chicken , the two specialties of that region . Don't expect to have good Korean food in that remote town of VN . You should stick to Banh Mi , Pho , Bun Cha , Banh Cuon , BBQ ducks/chickens , roasted pork and many other Vietnamese dishes . Only in big cities or touristic places like Hanoi , HCMC , HuĆŖ , Danang , Hoi An , Nha Trang , Mui Ne , Phu Quoc , Dalat , CĆ¢n Tho , etc… that you can find good international dishes ( Pizzas , Spaghettis , Hamburgers , Hotdogs , Sushi, Sashimi , Bibimbap , Kim Chi , Filet Mignon , Boeuf Bourguignon , Langouste Thermidor , Bouillabaisse , Steaks , Canadian Cheese Lobsters , Tacos , Burritos , Lasagnas , Dim Sum , Pad Thai , Tom Yum, Nasi Goreng , Bami Goreng , Paellas , Curry , Tandori Chicken , Oso Bucco , Piccata , German Wurst , Greek Moussaka , Hungarian Goulash , etc…
Your bike ride through Vietnam is showing to the Americans that today they are welcome here . There are no more hatred, animosity , anger and discrimination towards them . The Vietnamese people are always friendly (sometimes even overfriendly) and forgiving to their former enemies . The only issues here for the Westerners are the chaotic traffic and the air/noise pollution .
Have a safe ride and keep well buddy ! See you again next week .
You misunderstood the man at the wedding party . He said " Khong sao cu o lai dây ty nua khi nao xong moi anh cung an voi chung toi " which means " no problem , just stay here a moment and when every thing is ready , you are invited to share the meal with us " . But Google gave you a wrong translation that you were not invited . Never trust Google 100 % . Many many times it gives incorrect information and bad translation .
Vietnamese normally are nice and welcoming peoples. You should try all Viet foods esp those street foods and different ethnic foods.
