【夏の広島旅】宮島で絶品牡蠣&しまなみ海道サイクリング🚴♀️大阪からの2泊3日旅Vlog
Hello everyone! 😃 Continuing from last time, this video is about our trip to Hiroshima. We’re heading from Osaka to Hiroshima by Shinkansen. He really wanted to eat an ekiben (boxed lunch). He chose this Okame bento. I’m eating 551’s nikuman (meat buns)! I love them so much, they’re probably number five on my favorite food list. It takes about an hour and a half by Shinkansen from Osaka to Hiroshima. They ‘re so colorful and look so nutritious! They were irresistible! I’m so glad he seemed so satisfied! ☺️ From Hiroshima Station, we took the tram to our hotel, right next to the riverside of the Atomic Bomb Dome. On our first day, we went to Miyajima! Taking a boat ride is so exciting. I visited Hiroshima when I was about two years old. I only saw photos, so I don’t remember much about it. Looking back at those photos, I’m always sleeping in my stroller. 😂 This summer was very hot, but it felt the hottest during our Osaka-Hiroshima trip. Even an hour outside quickly made me crave ice cream. 🍦 But Miyajima was so beautiful that I almost forgot about the heat. ✨ “Sea” in Finnish is “meri.” The deep blue ocean and deep green were so beautiful. I took photos with the gentle deer. 😋 I bought some road safety charms for my family. My father, who loves cars, didn’t seem to need them much. 😂 After a short stroll around the small island, we went to an oyster shop he found. Apparently, in Finland, you have to go to France to eat oysters. The shop is called “Tsugiko,” and it specializes in Miyajima grilled oysters. It has an amazing 4.9-star rating! The atmosphere of the renovated old house was fantastic. I tried three types of oysters: grilled oysters, gratin, and basil sauce. They were absolutely delicious. We also tried the oysters in oil (500 yen), recommended by the staff, but forgot to take a video. 😂 He loved it and left a high rating. 😁 We walked through the shopping district and bought some momiji manju as souvenirs for his grandparents. He bought some sake for his father. We spotted a stingray in the ocean! It’s a little hard to tell in the video. We bought a manju each, and I chose the koshian (smooth bean paste) version. It had a gentle flavor. The view from the hotel was beautiful. We were so impressed with the oysters we had in Miyajima that we chose them for dinner! We also had some Hiroshima okonomiyaki. He even had seconds! 😂 Good night! 🌙 On the second day, he cycled along the Shimanami Kaido, something he’d been looking forward to! Hiroshima is such a wonderful place. I rented an electric bike. The hills were easy, but the pedals were quite heavy. 😂 It cost 110 yen to get to the other side. I was surprised to see this being used so regularly. To cycle along the Shimanami Kaido, just follow the blue lines on the road. It was a wonderful time, feeling the sea breeze. We had ice cream for a break. I bought it without checking the price, and it was over 300 yen! 😂 Kome Kome Club’s “Romantic Flight” was playing in my head. lol 36km cycling, the finish line was the sea! A quiet beach beloved by locals. Great job! For him, cycling along the Shimanami Kaido was the best memory of his three-month stay in Japan. On the way back, they returned by boat and had Kamakura Pasta for dinner. What surprised him about this trip was how many Hiroshima residents spoke to him in English. In Tokyo, no one had ever spoken to him in English, so it was a refreshing experience. Even Japanese people have their own regional differences. I want to learn from them. We also visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. It’s really important to experience things for yourself. I think it was a valuable experience for him as well. His last meal in Hiroshima was katsu curry. He had spicy mazesoba. Thank you for watching until the end! If you enjoyed this video, please like and subscribe! 😊 See you in the next video! 👋
