So, the next destination is, Cafe Katsuragikan — it’s actually today’s final destination, but we still have some time left, so I’m wondering what to do. Yeah, if there’s a chance, and if we still have time, maybe Wakayama Castle… Ah, yeah, that’s right. There’s some kind of event? Yeah, they’re holding an event now. It’s cherry blossom season, so there’s a cherry festival too. Also, they’re having a meat festival! Right, right. If we go straight for about four more minutes, it’ll be on the right. It’s a big building, so I think we’ll notice it easily. I hope we’ll notice it. You know what? Actually… What? We passed by the first spot earlier. Okay, okay, okay. Here? …Café Katsuragikan! It seems this inn, built in the Meiji era, was renovated and reopened in the spring of 2024. Apparently, it’s even registered as a tangible cultural property. Hard to believe a place like that became a café. I’m getting excited! I wonder what the interior looks like? It seems on holidays the place gets crowded with many customers. At such times, they guide you to what used to be a guest room on the third floor, where you can relax freely while waiting. Oh? It looks like a seat opened up! TAKENOKON ordered a roasted green tea latte, and MOI ordered coffee and cheesecake. Nice! The two of them plan to head back toward Wakayama afterward. Take a good rest and recover your energy, okay? MOI’s favorite café— How was Café Katsuragikan? You know… really, this place… You have to go. That’s how good the interior was. And the cake was delicious too. It was an inn built in the Taisho (or Meiji) era, that was renovated. The atmosphere was really great. It was nice, wasn’t it? And there wasn’t really a waiting room, so they let you use a guest room as it is. That’s right. It was amazing. That was a guest room, wasn’t it? On the third floor. Probably a guest room, yeah. Until the seats opened up, you could really relax there freely. Yeah, everyone was taking pictures, and walking around. It was really nice. You could feel the history. Amazing. I want to go again. When SHIRAAKE sees this footage for the first time, he’ll probably be jealous, like “Wow, you went to a place like that!” Let’s not send him any photos, haha.
