Hey, Adam here with Simple and Fast review of the XTU Simple insulated stainless steel water bottle. We’re going to open it up, show you what it looks like, test it out, and of course, let you know whether or not it’s worth buying. So, I’ve got the 24 oz version of this. And uh as we get it out of the box here, I’ll find straw cleaner um instructions. Uh and then of course um the actual water bottle. So uh a couple ways to open this. Um first and foremost, you’ll have that top. It will close and lock in place. very nicely. And then we’ll have this piece which is giving you a more of a um drinking capability um there. And then does this Yes, it does. Pops open. So, one thing that might be a little confusing is tendency to kind of push from that position. So, you’ll just have to make sure you push from the sides of that um for carrying purposes. Um, now this is supposed to be able to keep um water cold um for 30 hours. And there’s your straw obviously. Um you can take that out and just clean as needed and it will just go right back on. Um one of the challenges here is getting ice into these things sometimes um because it is a smaller uh mouth. Um but it’s also kind of the benefit. And then on the bottom you’ll have some rubberized. As you can hear the difference it’s rubberized there. So we’ll go ahead and uh throw some ice in this. Test it out and uh take it from there. All right. So I just loaded this uh with kind of I’ll call it about a third full of ice. And now I’m just going to fill the rest with water. Um and again the mouth is nice. Um, it would be great if it was a little bit bigger uh for getting the ice cubes in. Um, again, depending on what size ice cubes you use. Um, it could be a challenge. Um, mine are relatively small, but some of the bigger ice cubes uh would be hard to get in. So, the key component here is the uh that I’m going to test is kind of how long um those ice cubes last. So, I’m actually going to come back to this tomorrow and uh see how they’re doing. All right. So, it has been 24 hours. I’m pretty certain there’s no ice in here. Um there’s not. So, we’re just going to test it out for temperature. Um just to see kind of what it’s feeling like. And surprisingly or not, it’s it’s actually pretty cold. Um I actually tested a different water bottle that I poured like an hour ago and uh room temperature. Um and this is actually pretty chilled. Uh so um really nice to have this kind of again kind of straw feature if you will. Um and then clicking this open to drink at a uh more rapid rate. There’s a hole right in here um that will allow you to kind of let it all breathe and everything like that. So um really good. I obviously didn’t expect ice to still be in there after 24 hours. It would have been amazing. um if it if it did have that, but you’d probably expect to spend a couple hundred bucks to do something like that. So, um this is a really great value.
