This time I went from Seoul to Dokdo I’m planning to go for a bike ride~! A place every Korean wants to visit… Dokdo! This October! Celebrating Armed Forces Day, National Foundation Day, and Hangeul Day I’m planning to go to Dokdo by bike. Departing from Seoul and running about 230km to Gangneung After taking a boat from Gangneung, passing Ulleungdo and all the way to Dokdo..! Countless mountain trails in Gangwon-do await me… Ugh!!! A mouse came up..!! Ughㅡㅠㅠㅠㅠㅡㅠㅠㅠㅠ I wonder if I can go…ㅋㅋㅋ Let’s go for a run! First of all, the first day! I ran through Hangang Park toward Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do. It’s really embarrassing when you think about it… Because I always travel abroad The most precious place in our country… I want to travel there. You’ve only thought about it, but never actually done it? I really wanted to go to Dokdo and Ulleungdo anyway. I’ve never been there since I was born. Let’s take this opportunity to have a wonderful trip! I think I’ll go from Gangneung or Donghae. It really feels like I’m leaving Seoul. It really has a hip feel to it lol It’s very great~ After passing through so many tunnels After crossing the beautiful bridge, we arrived in Yangpyeong! Well, the road from Seoul to Gyeonggi is just a healing road, right? The bike path is also well-maintained I also enjoy riding my bike in the cool autumn weather. It was a perfect first day Today’s destination! Arrived in Yangpyeong~ I want to go to Hongcheon… I thought it would be too dangerous if I quit, so I had to climb the mountain. I’m planning to stay here and try to leave again tomorrow. There’s a motel in the middle of these mountains! And the price was very cheap. I used points so I made a reservation for 25,000 won lol August Motel~ August is over but I’m here now lol Oh~ The motel is so clean and nice! Plus there’s soup! This is ridiculous! It’s 25,000 won! I really like staying in country motels. What I’m most worried about is cockroaches and things like that coming out. That’s what I’m most worried about, right? I feel so good when I come across such a clean motel. But there is nothing around Then that’s it again.. (Ramen is so delicious~~) There’s nothing around lol There’s only a military base next to it lol When I see the military base next door, I think of this spicy seafood noodle soup. I ate a lot of ganjjambbong when I was in the military. (This stimulating taste… I’m alive) When we used to light lanterns in the old days… What is this… a lantern? On weekends in the military… Originally, soldiers went to bed at 10 PM. There is a TV show time from 10 o’clock to 12 o’clock. As a weekend event I ate a lot of Jjamppong during the lantern festival…ㅋㅋㅋ I was really sad when I was a private… These spicy noodle soups and ramen that seniors eat I had to go get all the water I had to stand in line at the microwave to turn it into a freezer lol And looking at this Jjamppong, really lol It’s a feeling where good and bad memories come to mind at the same time. It’s cup ramen lol It was a dinner that brought back memories of PTSD, lol A fun day with a leisurely bike ride! I ran 77km and had a leisurely rest in a clean hotel. The next day! This time, we passed through Gyeonggi-do and ran forward toward Gangwon-do. I have to run a little harder today I have to go to Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do. So on the way today, we have to cross a mountain that is about 900 meters high. In short, I was so happy today~ㅋㅋㅋ Today will be a hell of an uphill climb..! Passing through the mountain road leading to Gangwon-do! Let’s go straight ahead and take a boat to Dokdo! (The mountain road hell begins from the beginning..) (Our country really has a lot of mountains~~!!!) Oh, it’s hard… Is there a rest area? There’s a Korean buffet? Should I eat before I go? Hahaha Hey.. If you eat a roll of kimbap in Seoul, it costs 3,500 won. Unlimited here for 10,000 won..! (Unlimited side dishes for 10,000 won, and the quality is also amazing..!) Sikhye and sujeonggwa are essential, right? One of the joys of traveling to Korea is the availability of kimchi! (Happy point 2: There’s also pork belly) It’s hard to find a place like this in Seoul these days… Wow~! (And the food is so delicious~~) The special thing about this place is that the food is so delicious~! Bracken is crazy~ When riding a bike abroad I don’t really feel like eating? So, there were many times when I just went and had snacks and stuff like that. Our country can’t do that~ (Having breakfast at Hyeja Hyejahan Korean buffet~) (Let’s go on the mountain road to Gangwon-do~) The closer you get to Gangwon-do, the more mountain paths there are. Ugh… this is crazy… this is crazy… Ugh… This is hard… My legs are going to burst… Pushing my bike up a steep hill… Sweat is all over me But the mountain wind is blowing again, so my sweaty clothes are cold My condition was getting worse and worse because of yesterday’s fatigue. I’m sweating so much… I think I’m going to catch a cold.. My nose keeps running right now..? I have to get over the mountain… I might die… Not bad It’s Good day to die! Fall riding is really ambiguous This is… cold yet hot… And I keep getting cold symptoms.. But when I see the clean scenery of Gangwon-do, The ride was very enjoyable Wow.. This place is really healing..! (Definitely the mountain scenery and air of Gangwon-do is the GOAT) – hello~

It’s so nice that there’s nothing like that~~ (But there are more mountains~~~) I guess I should go and have some seolleongtang haha Wow~ There’s a restaurant in a place like this~! Hahaha (I ate buffet 2 hours ago.. but I got hungry again so I stopped again lol) And this is the place where they bring kimchi in jars like this It was a house that was really full of fundamentals lol The weather is chilly.. It’s hot when I sweat… and cold when the cold wind blows… It’s an ambiguous weather… (Hot soup is the best in times like this..) (quickly add rice) The seolleongtang was so delicious~ Even the climb is so delicious~~ (I’ve been climbing uphill for dozens of minutes already..) The scary thing is that the climb hasn’t even started yet. The road from Hoengseong to Pyeongchang will be a death…ㅠㅠ It’s a good day to die~!! There is a very cheap capsule hotel in Pyeongchang, where I am planning to go. I had planned to go here I heard it’s going to rain again tomorrow Just staying at a motel for two days costs 100,000 won. Capsule hotels are 20,000 won per night! Even if you stay for two days, it only costs 40,000 won. With the thought that I should definitely go to the Pyeongchang capsule hotel to save money! Because I already booked a hotel in advance… I absolutely had to go to Pyeongchang today. Hey Mr. Lee… Why did I reserve this? I was so hungry too I saw a chueotang restaurant and went in right away haha (The side dishes here are delicious..) The boss was surprised… No?! You came over that hill~?! Like thisㅋㅋㅋ Don’t come to Gangwon-do for riding lol (Hot chueotang and rice cooked in a pot after a hard day’s work..!!) (I really feel like my body is melting..) (I was busy eating like I was possessed lol) (There’s even rice crust from the pot~~) (After fully recovering my stamina) (I came to a nearby motel..) It’s a special room, but the owner… This room was originally priced at 65,000 won, but they let me rent it for 50,000 won. They said it would rain again tomorrow I decided to stay here until tomorrow. 100,000 won flew away… and I thought I was going to go today (Capsule Hotel) I lost 120,000 won because I made a reservation in advance. (Suddenly, my head hurts…) Ugh… Let’s rest for now ㅠㅠㅠ The day I almost died because of the steep mountain road I ran too hard because I heard it was going to rain the next day, and that was the cause of my trouble. It doesn’t rain the next day…??? The sun is shining brightly?! The forecast changed to rain in the late afternoon. Oh no… Meteorological Agency… I apologized to the motel owner and received a refund of 50,000 won. I’m back on the road again Then today only one mountain remains Let’s get some rest.. haha I think I took some critical damage yesterday Today, I just climbed one mountain~ I guess I can go to Gangneung tomorrow~~ The largest mountain on the way to Gangneung.. I had to cross a mountain 900 meters above sea level. If I just get over this, it will be convenient to go to Gangneung tomorrow. Because there is a cheap capsule hotel nearby. I think I’ll have to leave again tomorrow Today is easy because we just climbed a mountain~~ The place I made a reservation for yesterday was here, We Motel~ We Motel~~ We Motel~~~ I finally arrived at the capsule hotel…ㅠㅠㅠ It’s really clean and the facilities are good here. It was nice to be able to climb just one mountain today and relax. And the next morning! The morning is very, very cool and nice! The rain has stopped and the air is very fresh. This is crazy~~ The scenery at Daegwallyeong is really the best… Are you crazy? This is crazy wow.. Wow, seeing a windmill this close up… This is the peak of Daegwallyeong~ 830m above sea level! I came up here on a bike, that’s what I’m saying~ From here on out, it’s all downhill! Should we go and take a look? No, the scenery is amazing. This is Dokdo… Wow, that’s amazing… So, the East and West are divided like this. Dokdo is located at the easternmost tip of our country. Dokdo, a spectacular sight that leaves you speechless. Looking at Dokdo, I look back on the journey that brought me here. I wanted to get emotional, but… The reality wasn’t like that lol It took less than 30 minutes to enter Dokdo. I was busy taking pictures lol I have to take a picture there too.. Hey, I’m busy taking pictures lol So, we arrived at Dokdo. The bike trip from Seoul to Dokdo ended perfectly! I came across the amazing mountain paths of Gangwon-do. And then the rat came out again lol I had a serious bike trip. Because it was so hard to get here… Coming to Dokdo was really easy..! If you get over this really hard thing How can such a wonderful place just welcome me so easily? Whatever you do, No matter what situation you are in right now Whether you encounter a huge mountain or fall down from a rat, just run. Just run and pedal Anything can be easily accomplished like this. Wow… Dokdo is so amazing no matter how many times I look at it. Let’s keep running!
