Why am I allowed to ride my motorcycle on a weekday? My husband is on one month of parental leave. So if I was going to drive anyway, I wanted to ride my motorcycle on a weekday when there were fewer cars around. I was definitely planning to ride a motorcycle in September. I decided to ride a motorcycle once. That opportunity has finally come. I was hoping it would get cooler in September. It’s not getting any cooler. It’s not a sunny day today. I chose a place that wasn’t too pushy and wouldn’t be congested. I chose a parking lot that wasn’t gravel. Today I will ride my motorcycle without straining myself. I have a hayabusa and a daytona675. I was wondering which one to use today. Riding daytona675 in the middle of summer is hot. It was only natural that I would choose the hayabusa. I had already decided that. The day before, we prepared for the motorcycle ride. Installing a smartphone holder for motorcycles. Then insert the ETC card. My husband did all of that. He tried to start the daytona675’s engine. But he failed the challenge. The daytona675’s engine would not start. Sorry, daytona675. I hadn’t ridden a hayabusa for a long time. hayabusa’s vehicle inspection was in April. When it was time for my car inspection, I took hayabusa to the workshop. I had the hayabusa kept at the factory for a while. I asked them to take their time inspecting the hayabusa. So the hayabusa is in great shape. I feel good. I like running along rice field roads. This has been a long time coming. This is a strange feeling. I thought about where to run. I thought about where to go. Considering the time I’ve been away from motorcycles, it’s still too early for me to ride long distances. That would be bad, because this is like rehabilitation. I decided to go to the nearest place. Preferably, it would be somewhere within the Kanto region with as little traffic congestion as possible. I was looking for a place where I could take a leisurely motorcycle ride. As a result, Ibaraki Prefecture was selected. I will soon arrive at my destination. For me, this is a nostalgic place. In the early days I came here using a hayabusa. I have arrived. This is KASUMIGAURA in Ibaraki Prefecture! I have arrived. It’s quiet here, which is great. I’ll take a short break. It’s been a while since I last saw the scenery of Kasumigaura. When was the last time you could leisurely enjoy the scenery like this? So from a third-person perspective, I think my butt has gotten bigger (cry). It had been a while since I’d worn motorcycle boots and pants. I feel a bit strange. It’s soothing to watch the birds flying leisurely over the water. After taking photos for a while, a yellow seaplane appeared. It appeared suddenly. This is a seaplane. As I was taking a break here, a man spoke to me. He informed us that the seaplane would be flying in about 10 minutes. This is amazing! How does a seaplane take off? The focus is not correct. How does a seaplane take off? “The fish seem to be very happy too (?).” The fish jumped. This is fun. I look forward to the moment it takes off. Will that thing finally take off? That thing took off! I envy seaplanes because they can run on water and fly in the air. I would also like to see the ground from the sky. I’ll start moving now. It’s hot here. Despite my complaints, I still enjoy taking photos and videos. I’m leaving. I’m grateful to the man who taught me that. I ended up staying too long. I was just going to the cafe. “If I’m going to the cafe, I might as well go to KASUMIGAURA,” I thought. That’s not good. When I start riding a motorcycle, I enjoy it. I was going to a cafe to have breakfast. When I woke up, it was already 11:30. It’s lunchtime. I’m going to eat lunch. This is a rice field. This is truly a fruitful autumn. We can see this kind of scenery even in the Kanto region. Farmers, your work is hard, but please do your best in the harvest. Riding freely like this on my motorcycle, I almost forget that I’m a mother now. This is strange. A year ago, I was riding my motorcycle freely like this. Within a year, I was pregnant, gave birth, and am now raising a child. The change in my life is big. I am amazed at how much my life has changed in just one year. Your life will never change so dramatically again, ever. This is a very strange experience. Since my daughter was born, there have been many challenges. I don’t get enough sleep. I don’t have my own time and I’m not free. That’s a big deal. But she is very cute. My little daughter is crying hard. I know that such times will pass in the blink of an eye, so I want to keep looking at her. I enjoy raising my children. My daughter was born weighing less than 2500 grams. She was a rather small baby. She is growing up nicely. Her weight has gone up to 6 kg. At first, my wrists hurt just from holding her, who weighed 2 kg. She’s already 6kg so my wrist hurts even more. Her weight keeps increasing. I wish my wrists were stronger. This was something I was worried about when I got on my motorcycle today. The first one is my wrist. However, the wrist movements required when riding a motorcycle seem to be different from those required when raising a child. At the moment my wrist is not hurting. The second one is my biggest concern. I was worried about whether I would be able to wear motorcycle pants. By the time I gave birth, I had gained 11 kg. After giving birth, I thought the weight would just come off naturally. However, I still have to lose 4 to 5 kg to get back to my previous weight. Who said breastfeeding would make you lose weight automatically? Sorry, I said something rude. My appetite is only increasing. I keep saying, “I’m hungry.” I usually have a second helping of white rice. The pants I’m wearing today have some stretch. I’m glad I was able to wear these pants. I arrive at the lunch spot. This is a cafe located on a large site similar to a roadside station. I looked for a place where I could safely park my motorcycle. The store is on the second floor, up a flight of stairs. The view from the terrace is amazing. There were lots of motorcycle goods in the store. Maybe the owner rides a motorcycle too. I have arrived. This is a half-size S GARAGE sandwich and a cold coffee. This looks delicious. Let’s eat. It was hot, so the cold coffee helped cool me down. I asked the owner for his recommendations. He said a sandwich or Neapolitan spaghetti. I chose the sandwich that was at the top of the menu. It was so hot that I wondered whether to eat inside the restaurant. However, it was a good opportunity, so I decided to eat on the terrace. The sandwiches are packed with vegetables and the sauce is delicious. The sandwich has a beautiful cross section. When I placed my order, I spoke briefly with the owner, who told me he was also a rider. There were a lot of motorcycle goods in the store. There’s a reason why I chose this restaurant. That’s because the parking lot was very large, flat, and paved with asphalt. The sandwiches were available in half and full sizes, and I chose the half size. But I could have eaten the full size without any problems. After the meal, I sipped coffee and looked out at the rice fields. If it had been a little cooler, I could have stayed in this soothing space longer. I spent a lot of time at S GARAGE. I had a nice chat with the owner. Apparently he also participates in races. Over the past few years since I bought hayabusa, I’ve enjoyed going on long trips. So I didn’t often choose the Kanto region as my destination. I won’t be able to go out for a while. So I would like to go to various places in the Kanto region. There are many places in the Kanto region that I have never been to, precisely because they are so close. I go to places like that. I enjoy motorcycling close to home. After riding my motorcycle for about half a day, I thought to myself: I love motorcycles. I would like to ride my motorcycle regularly again.
