14天穿越整條亞馬遜河,世界首位華人完整航行記錄
In the vastness of the Amazon. For centuries. Countless explorers, traders, missionaries have traveled down the river. To write the pages of history. However, in the historical records We can hardly find a complete record of the Chinese voyage. We are now 160 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean Today I’ll set off from the upper reaches of the Amazon To fill this gap. Drifting 3,700 kilometers 14 days. Through three countries. Until it joins the Atlantic Ocean. No roads. No railroad. The only thing that will get us out of here is a boat. Welcome back to Arkhorn on the Road. Starting today. I’ll be floating for weeks on the world’s largest river. Peru. Colombia. Brazil. Until I reach the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean. Belém. Are you ready? Let’s go downstream together. In search of the Atlantic. On this journey. I’ll start in the upper Amazon. Iquitos, the largest city in Peru. I’ll take a speedboat through the depths of the rainforest. To reach the waters of Peru. Colombia and Brazil. A short stop. Find a boat Travel to Manaus, the largest city in Brazil on the Amazon River In Manaus. I will continue to wait for the cruise ship to the Atlantic Ocean. The journey takes 14 days. Almost the entire length of the Amazon. The ship stops at towns and villages. The docks are bustling. Passengers come and go. Cargoes are stacked on top of each other. This is the way the Amazons live their lives. But the journey begins with uncertainty. Raided boardings by military police, ship accidents, waiting for help. Every moment is a reminder There’s more to the world’s largest river than just the beauty and the hustle and bustle. It’s also about the unknown and the adventure. I chose Iquitos. I chose Iquitos as the starting point for my journey through the Amazon. Iquitos is also the headwaters of the Amazon basin. If you want to know more about Iquitos. You can watch my last video I won’t go into details this time. This part of my route Because it passes through several countries There are no ships that can go directly to the sea. That’s why I have to complete this trip in sections. So I’ll start with Iquitos. I’ll take a boat to Santa Rosa. Where the three countries meet. I bought a ticket for 140 soles. It’s a fast boat. The fast boat takes 15 hours. We’ll be there in 16 hours. How many different kinds of boats are there? There’s a slow boat that takes three days and two nights. But it’s cheaper. Why did I choose the fast boat? Because my trip is too long. So I’ll take the fast boat here. I’ll take the slow boat downstream It’s for you to experience different means of transportation To travel through this trip There are many piers here And each pier Each pier has a different company The one I bought is from Haydee. It’s this pier Each pier has its own kiosk. This is the boat I’m going to take I’ll be on the boat for 15-16 hours. There’s free Wifi here. And it’s using STARLINK It’s called STARLINK This is the starting point of my trip. I’ll start from here I’m going to cross the entire Amazon River. 4,000 kilometers. To the Atlantic Ocean. This is the inside of the ship. You can see every seat. There are life jackets. And this ship It’s air-conditioned So it’s very comfortable There’s also a surveillance system. I’m sure you’re curious. What should I do if I have to pee? There’s a restroom on the speedboat. There are two. And there are toilets. Then go inside and you’ll find the rear of the ship. This should be the VIP room. See the VIP room? There’s a USB port for charging. Let’s go to the back of the ship and take a look. This is the end of the ship. There are three engines. The price of the ticket is 130 soles. How much is this? 2 soles (4CNY≈0.5USD) The ticket says 4 o’clock. I thought the boat left at 4 o’clock. Why don’t we start getting ready at 4:00? I don’t think we’ll leave until 5 or 6. I just bought some snacks. 2 soles (4CNY≈0.5USD). It’s like a hardened version of shrimp sticks. I feel like I’m eating candy. This is so sweet. Sweet, sweet, sweet. We finally left at 5:14 p.m. This is the Peruvian Navy, right? Look at these ports in front of us. You know why it’s called It’s the farthest inland port from the sea. Ships in the Atlantic can sail here. They can sail here. There’s a kiosk at the bow. This is the Nanay River. And the Amazon River is this way. How long have you been doing this job?
How long have you been doing this job? One year. In the Amazon, the sun sets around 5:00 or 6:00. It’s sunset now. It’s the most beautiful time. The temperature is also the most comfortable. This speedboat is left-handed. But here? It’s not a left rudder, right-hand drive. It’s a left rudder traveling in the middle. We recommend that you turn on Apple’s anti-motion sickness function. After you turn it on? There is a dot on the screen And the dot will move Then you won’t get seasick It’s the same as on the boat. There’s also free bread in the evening. It tastes like oatmeal. There’s a lot of sugar in it. It’s almost 11:00 p.m. I’m getting off at a place called Pebas. You can see that this is a stop on the way It’s halfway to my destination. It’s halfway to my destination. Wow, it’s 11:00 p.m. There are still vendors selling their wares. Passengers are being dropped off and loaded at the same time. After 16 hours of sailing. We finally arrived at Santa Rosa. This is the poison triangle of South America. Where I am now. The currency is soles. On the other side of the river, on the left hand side. Pesos are used The right hand side is the real. The area where these three countries meet Santa Rosa, Peru. Leticia, Colombia. And Tabatinga in Brazil. Villagers here don’t need visas And few customs inspections Smuggling and gray trade are rampant I remember two and a half years ago when I was visiting a nearby village. I was mistaken for a drug lord who was buying up a wholesale truck. It’s actually parked at a border crossing. Now we have to take another boat. We have to take another boat to Santa Rosa to get it stamped. As you can see, there’s no customs at the border. There’s no customs. I have to go to the immigration office to get stamped myself That’s why it’s loosely regulated here. I was charged 5 soles for the short distance. Santa Rosa is actually a small island. It’s also very small. But probably because there are a lot of tourists here That’s why it’s expensive. It’s just a tuk-tuk ride from the pier to the immigration office. It’s actually very close. It’s just a few steps away. It costs 5 soles (10CNY≈1.4USD). This is the commercial center of the island The main street Doesn’t it seem small to you? The bananas here are just like our rice. It’s their staple food We’re done with the departure stamp at the immigration office. Now I’m going to Leticia But if I go to Manaus. I’ll have to stay in Brazil. I’ll take a boat from Tabatinga. But I chose to stay in Leticia Because the accommodation in Leticia is better. And the price is much cheaper But I don’t want to do that. It’s for Colombia. To enter the country. Because it’s too much of a hassle to re-enter Colombia It’s too much of a hassle to leave the country again. And If you’re there for two or three days. You don’t have to. If you are in Leticia for a longer period of time Leticia for a longer period of time It’s better to get an entry permit In Leticia, you have to go to the airport You have to go to the airport. How much does Leticia cost? 10 soles (20CNY≈2.8USD). It’s very expensive here. Leticia is 10 soles (20CNY≈2.8USD). But this boatman is quite nice. He lowered the price to 6 soles. It’s a short distance. This is the Mekong River, right? And then there’s Brazil. Now to Leticia. That’s the Colombian side. We’re in Leticia now. Now we’re going to my place. I’ve booked an Airbnb. . If you’re one of my regular viewers, you’ll remember I’ve filmed it before in the first season of Discovery America. If you’re interested. You can watch the first season. This is the market. You can exchange money all along the street here. Can you see this? This is a Peruvian phone card You can use it here, too. The Colombian peso has changed. In the old days, a peso with a face value of 5 was 5,000 pesos. But now The three zeros have been erased. Now it’s 5 pesos. This is the Amazon. It’s raining sun. Can you see it? It’s a clear sky. But it’s raining. It’s not easy for children. Let’s see where I live. This is my room. There’s a closet here. There’s a bathroom. It’s also wet and dry. The best thing is There is a separate balcony Wow, this balcony is not small. Then this is the public space It’s also a rooftop Guess what the price is? The price is 100 RMB (14USD) for less than one night. From where I live to Brazil? Yes, about 3 kilometers. I took a taxi. The price was 1500 pesos (27CNY≈3.8USD) And here? This is the border between Brazil and Colombia. This is the Brazilian immigration office. As you can see when you crossed the border There’s no customs or inspection there. It’s the same as in the same city So if you’re just traveling in the Amazon. You don’t need a visa. Because I’m going out of the Amazon. I’m going to take a boat to the Amazon. So you need to get a visa. What about immigration? It has a lunch break. It closes at 12 o’clock. They don’t open until 2 o’clock. I’m early. It’s just after 1:00 now. So I came here to shop at the supermarket. Two liters of mineral water, 4BRL(5.3CNY≈0.7USD) 400 liters of Seafoam, 31 pieces, 8(42CNY≈5.9USD) Pack of instant noodles, 3BRL(4CNY≈0.5USD) Happy Water, 12BRL(16CNY≈2.2USD) They do have a flat version Happy Water is, 5BRL(6.6CNY≈0.9USD) Traveling here It’s easy to get confused Because of the currency. There are three currencies And there are also languages Two languages Thank you. It’s obrigado And over there it’s Gracias. It’s already stamped. I have a 10-year visa I have a 10-year visa for Brazil. So I don’t need a visa. If you don’t have a visa You can go to Leticia They have a Brazilian consulate You can also get a visa. What about this pier? You can take a boat to Manaus. From here to Manaus, it takes 4 days and 3 nights. The price is 290BRL(388CNY≈54USD) But I used my credit card. So he charged me 10% handling fee. And to take this boat. You have to prepare a bed. Like a hammock. And a plate, knife and fork. Because they don’t provide them. Otherwise I won’t have a place to sleep on the boat. You must be wondering how I How did I collect so much information I don’t know. I’ll ask when I get here. Including this place I also asked the immigration officer He told me I could buy a ticket here. From here to Manaus, it’s a three-night stay. And four nights from Masnou to Belem. So it’s better to buy a better bed. They sell hammocks here They’re cheaper at the supermarket. There’s 25, but the quality may not be so good. Basically around 60 I chose this one The price is 65BRL (86CNY≈12USD) This is the most expensive one here You need to buy two ropes To hang up the bed 3BRL(4CNY≈0.5USD)/pc. Bought two It’s cheaper to take a motorcycle than a cab I live in Leticia So I took a scooter back This is a local street food This is like our blood sausage. It’s supposed to have grains of rice in it And this is some Pork and beef mince and so on. This is beef. Good morning, everyone. It’s early here. The sun rises at 5:00 a.m. Let’s just hang out in this town today. I’m going to meet a friend. We just had a chat. But it’s not convenient for him to appear on camera Because this location It’s the Golden Triangle The drug triangle So there are a lot of crimes here He also showed me some videos Wow, it’s really shocking And the natives here They don’t have much awareness of the law. And the police can’t control them. And the DP is very widespread here. To what extent? The employees at the store. They all smoke it. And it’s so cheap. Just ** One bag is only 5BRL (6.6CNY≈0.9USD) It’s cheap. I’m still a bit I still can’t get over it. I think I’m pretty good. Because I like to watch zombie movies. This kind of apocalyptic movie But compared to what I just saw I’ve just seen. I don’t know how to describe it It’s like all the parts of a person have been separated. Including the head and so on. And they were in the marketplace. And many people watched. I came here first. A local market in Brazil. Let’s see what’s new here. This pier is still crowded with people. It’s very lively. It’s here. It’s a big marina here. Look at the fishermen here. They catch fish early in the morning Then they come here to sell them. Today is the official start My 4 days and 3 nights trip to Manaus. I’ve already registered. We’re waiting for the boat. I was going to buy a Brazilian phone card. But it requires a local tax ID number. In order to buy one. I can’t do that. I had to buy an Esim card 30 days and 10 GB. The price is 144 RMB (20USD) When you board the boat at this pier, you need to check your ID. The white boat in front That’s where I’ll be staying for 4 days and 3 nights You can see that it’s a 1/2/3 three-story ship. This is the third floor. I’ll stay on the third floor. I’ll pick a good spot. The center is better, I hear. I won’t get seasick. This is where I’ll be staying for 4 days and 3 nights. This is the water fountain and sink. Go to the back. This is where I’ll take a shower. And this must be the aft of the ship There’s a restaurant and a kiosk at the back of the boat. An ice-cream for 7 dollars (9CNY≈1.3USD) Sometimes There’s no cell phone network But there’s Wifi here. Wifi is available. He should be using Starlink The fee for one hour is 5 dollars (6.6CNY≈0.9USD) Two hours, 8 dollars (10CNY≈1.5USD) Five hours, 20 bucks (26CNY≈3.7USD) This is the bow of the boat. This is the cockpit You can see that the first floor is for cargo transportation. The second and third floors are for passengers. The restroom is not wet/dry This is the middle section of the Amazon River. It’s completely different from upstream. Upstream, it’s hot at night. Here, it’s cool at night. Even a little cold. It’s very windy. It’s also called Sao Paulo. Yes, it is. There are still so many passengers at night. What about this route? In addition to passenger transportation It’s also an important cargo route As you can see, there’s a lot of loading and unloading going on here at night. Do you know why the Amazon River is so dirty? I just saw them cleaning up. They just threw the garbage They just threw it under the river. Good morning, everyone. Greetings from the Amazon river.
Ola good morning from Amazon river Wow like heaven right
Wow like heaven right And now for breakfast. See the line? It’s really big. I’m really late, I won’t be able to eat. It’s written here that meal time is from 6:30 to 7:30 (meal is included in the ticket). Lunch is from 10:30 to 11:30 (meal included in ticket) Dinner is from 4:30 to 5:30. Let’s see what we have in the morning A glass of milk. And a hot dog or a bun of some kind. A hot dog or a bun of some kind. And a piece of cake of some kind. It’s not enough. You can add more. I think that although the appearance is not very good But it tastes pretty good. This is milk It’s also good with coffee. You can see in the Amazon River Basin Both passenger and cargo transportation Are already very mature In fact, the business here Should still have a certain scale This should be the owner of clothing Just now there are a lot of Big bags of clothes. Some of them have already been moved out. He’s hiring workers To help him move them. For lunch, there’s juice. Rice and noodles. Roast chicken and this is a Brazilian specialty. Black beans. The evening meal is the same. Rice and noodles again. And this is pig’s feet stewed with black beans. I think that’s meat. We’re sailing towards Manaus. You can see the Amazon River. The further downstream we go. The wider the river becomes. And the current gets stronger. Of course, it’s also more turbid. Doesn’t it seem to you that The Amazon River is not that wide. Right? No, it’s not. What about that side? It’s not land. It’s an island. And the other side of the island? Another part of the Amazon. And then in the middle? That’s where the main river comes together. And the Amazon River? It’s made up of 15,000 tributaries. It’s the largest river in the world. The Amazon River originates in the Andes Mountains It flows through Peru, Colombia and Brazil. It eventually flows into the Atlantic Ocean. It’s 20% of the world’s rivers. It’s the largest river in the world. It is the largest river in the world, with the widest basin and the largest number of tributaries. Its length is constantly being updated (the latest 6,992 kilometers surpasses the Nile). It is not only the mother river of the Amazons. It is the green lung of the entire planet. I work for engineer

I can imagine at that time Magellan When he was sailing in the Straits of Magellan. And named the place Tierra del Fuego It was probably the same as what we see now. Seeing chimneys everywhere So I thought it was a place of fire But it turned out to be the local It turned out to be the local aborigines who made fires there. Your family hunting? Yes.
Your family hunting si Yes, they do. Wow, they hunt this too. Sometimes they hunted animals to protect their families. Wow, that’s high school. There are high schools in this part of the world. There’s no internet now. And then we’re all here to enjoy the river breeze. It’s not an ocean breeze. And then we’d talk to each other for a while. Although we don’t speak the same language. But through simple body language We can still understand what we are talking about. What’s the capital of Amazon?

It’s a good place to be. I have a feeling the locals have a bigger heart than I do. It didn’t matter to anyone now. Back to sleep in the hammock. It was just after 1:00 a.m. Rescue boats finally arrived We’re saved. After four days and four nights After four days and four nights. To the largest city in the amazon rainforest. Manaus. The largest city in the Amazon rainforest. There are many marinas around the city. There are so many of them. From cargo to passenger terminals. Can you believe it? This is the terminal at 3:00 in the morning. Wow, Hola. Hello, Hola.
. Wow, there’s a lot of people here. I think there’s a party going on here. Some kind of festival or something. I took an Uber for 8.1km (I gave cash and the driver didn’t pay). The price was 50BRL (67CNY≈9.4USD). The pier is in the center of the city. But I don’t live in the city center. I chose to stay in another area This one is called amazon shopping This area seems to be quite nice At 3:00 in the morning I woke up the landlord Now we’re at the place where we’re staying. It’s a room. The price is 137 yuan. One night I spent four days on the boat. I didn’t get seasick. On the contrary, I got a little land-sick on land. After sleeping in a hammock for four days Now I can finally sleep in a normal bed Well, that’s it for today. I’m tired. I’ll come back tomorrow to show you around the city. Good morning, everyone. I didn’t realize there was such a thing as a casa. Let me show you. Wow, there’s a pool here. I washed my clothes today. Let’s take a look around the city. What about this city? I’ve already shot it in the first season. So this side I’ll just record it briefly. If you’re interested. You can watch my first season When you take the bus in Manaus. You can pay by credit card or cash. Cash is 5BRL (6.6CNY≈0.9USD). Manaus is quite modern. It’s the biggest city in the Amazon rainforest. You may not know much about it. Let me give you an example Peru The largest city in the Amazon is Iquitos. It has a population of 500,000 people. Here, there are more than 2.2 million. We came to the Amazon Let’s take a look at the shopping malls of the Amazon. Manaus is not a traditional Amazonian city. You can see that there is a wide range of goods here. All kinds of electrical appliances. All kinds of goods. Because there are a lot of favorable policies here. It’s a free trade zone That’s why the shipbuilding industry here Including many Big companies have assembly factories here. Toyota has a factory here. You can see this is a Swedish brand refrigerator There’s also an assembly plant here. The price is 2,719BRL(3638CNY≈511USD) A whole roast chicken is 37BRL(49CNY≈6.9USD). Brazil is a food paradise. Argentina Only beef is good. In Brazil There are all kinds of food And it’s not the same in every region. I came back to the pier where I disembarked yesterday. To buy a ticket. This is it. The boat to Belem departs from here. There’s only a boat on Wednesdays and Saturdays I bought a ticket for Wednesday. That’s the 10th. The price to belem from here is 400BRL (535CNY≈75USD) Then add a service charge of 8 bucks But if you buy it online, it’s 480. It’s much cheaper here. This is a chicken hot dog Is it chicken? Yes. This is the bedmate who slept next to me for four days and nights. How was taste good hot dog
How was taste good hot dog It was good.
Good Today is the 11th day since I left. I’m going on this ship. From Manaus to Belém for five days and four nights. Let’s get going. It’s the same as my last ship. Three decks. Check in on the second level. Then you’ll stay on the third floor. There’s a water fountain here. The deck of this ship is accessible. It’s better than the last ship. This is the kiosk at the back of the third floor. Let’s take a look at the bottom. The same position. This is also a restroom. It’s also a toilet and a shower. And this is the cabin And this is my position. I chose this place. Because there’s a charging station here. The ship’s dining room is on the first floor. Is on the first floor This is a dining area And here you have to pay. I ordered a chicken rice. The price is 25BRL (33CNY≈4.7USD) I miss the last ship. On the last ship, food was free. Here it’s 25BRL The cost of internet is much cheaper here. Wifi for the whole trip is 5 days. Price is 40 BRL (53CNY≈7.5USD) A beer costs 6 BRL (8CNY≈1.1USD) In the lower reaches of the Amazon When we pass through the villages. The villagers will take their speedboats To sell their goods close to the ferry. Now they’re selling the fish they’ve caught. It’s a big one. At night. Every 30 seconds He’ll turn on his high beams. To illuminate the front If you watch my video If you want to come and experience it too If you choose this hammock position Don’t choose under the light A lot of bugs are attracted to that light. Choose a dark place. Where there are no bugs. Good morning, everyone. This is my 12th day in the Amazon. The morning sun is so gentle on my face. In the lower Amazon, the cities are actually quite modern. Not as interesting as the upper reaches. In the evening, we finally left at 9 o’clock. And this pier? It’s located in the city of Santarém. As you can see, it’s not a small city. It has a population of about 300,000 people. And this city? It’s located between Manaus and Belém. That’s why many ships They use it as a transit point for supplies. Good morning.
. Today is the 13th day of traveling through the Amazon. Breakfast is 10 BRL (13CNY≈1.8USD) Watermelon and coffee. Cake and bread. We docked at a small pier. You can see an interesting phenomenon around here. It’s raining all around. But only the center. Where the sun shines. It’s not raining. In the evening, we sit on the bow of a boat and look at the tributaries of the Amazon River. And drink a beer. You can see the Amazon River. Its course changes every year. It looks a little narrow here. It’s just a tributary. It has many branches. This is a local villager. He’s coming here now. He just wants to get something to eat. We’ll throw him some food later. He’s thrown it. He threw two or three bags of food. That’s how you navigate at night. We use this light to shine all the time. Good morning, everyone. Today is the 14th day of the Amazon River crossing. And now? We’re only 160 or 170 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean. It’s not the ocean yet. But it feels like it. The area I’m in now? Further north. It’s like five countries. Five languages are spoken. It’s a very unique region in Latin America. It’s a very unique region. Since the 16th century. European powers In the area north of the amazon estuary. From south to north Portuguese Guiana (later incorporated into Brazil). French Guiana Dutch Guiana (now Suriname). British Guiana (now Guyana) and Western Guyana (later part of Venezuela). A complex and unique colonial history has resulted in the “Five Guyana’s”. Five languages were spoken And the ships of today Are equipped with star chains So now in the Amazon. All the way to the Amazon River. You can see the way the boat is docked. It’s a bit unique. Because our big boat Did not go to the dock So they took a small boat To come here to load cargo Unloading This is the moon And the sun in front of it. Because now It’s very close to the end. So? The local villagers will drive their speedboats here. And stop here. And see if there are any passengers If there are some luggage that you don’t need They can just throw it to him Because they are here There’s a lack of material goods This is the villager with some local specialties. Ten dollars (13CNY≈1.8USD) per bag. He gave me some money It tastes like light blueberry juice. This is a local product called Açaí. It’s similar to strawberry blueberry jam. Wow, it’s rich in cyanidin This can be anti-aging like this It’s amazing! It’s aniseed. It has a slight flavor of cocoa. Now the ship? It’s entering a tributary. Preparing to enter the Belém. So the current is a bit calmer now. Our cruise ship? It’s not stopping. We’ll take a small boat. Pick up the passengers. Pick up the passengers After 14 days of sailing We finally found the Atlantic Ocean. And the city behind me? That’s Belém. It was the first settlement The first settlement in the Amazon. It was also a tax station for trade between Europe and the Amazon. Belém. It means “Bethlehem” in Portuguese. Symbolizes the “granary” In 1616. The Portuguese came to the mouth of the Amazon to build a fortress. They gave it a biblical name. In the 19th century, the rubber boom made Belém rich. Today it has a population of over 1.5 million. A metropolis of 1,059 square kilometers. It’s about 6:00 kilometers from the docks to my place. It’s about 6:00 kilometers. I took an Uber. The price was 14 BRL (19CNY≈2.6USD). I chose to pay cash. But if you pay cash But you have to be careful about one thing When you get off the bus, you have to let the driver finish. And then you give the cash. If not, they may not finish Or they might not give it to us. The next time you take a taxi You need to pay the previous amount You’ve already paid in cash In order to take a taxi Now we’re at the place where we’re staying Let me show you around. I’ve booked a small apartment. A room. It’s the kitchen. It’s all together. And this is the bathroom. It’s that small. The price is 125 RMB (17.5USD) for one night. I’m sure you’ve noticed. The last part of the trip It’s four days and three nights. Not five days and four nights. Because of the change of the river. Because of the rise in water level. It’s become easier to navigate. That’s why it’s shorter. It’s only been a few days since I shaved. The beard is so long. I’m tired. I’ll have dinner. I’ll have dinner, and then I’ll be here. I’ll go back to bed after shopping at the supermarket. Tomorrow, I’ll show you around the city. Good morning, everyone. I’m waiting for the bus I’m going to show you the oldest market in Belém. The oldest market in Belém. It’s probably some kind of holiday in Brazil today. It’s free to take the bus now. And this one? This is a local passenger I met on the boat. And that’s her sister. And her sister’s child Now she’s taking me to the market. This market was built in the 16th century. It’s a very old market But you can see The facades have been renovated. It’s very colonial in character And now? She brought me here to try the local food. You can see in this traditional market There are hundreds of different vendors. Food vendors You can see but it’s the weekend There may not be so many open This way, too. This way too. Thank you very much to these two The locals introduced me to the traditional food of the region. This is called acai berry. It’s made from the fruit of the palm tree. And this is the juice. It’s served with local fried fish or shrimp. Eat it like this. And this jam? It has ice underneath. That’s why it tastes cold. This acai berry You can add various ingredients to it. And this is sugar. You can put some sugar on it. It tastes good without sugar. It’s a little sweeter with sugar. I took a picture of it on a boat in the Amazon. But this is the authentic way to eat it. It’s eaten with fried fish. It’s authentic. It has a fresh, fruity flavor. You can’t eat it as it is. I’ll try. It’s astringent when eaten straight. It’s gritty. You really need to break it up. You have to eat it with lemon to clean your teeth. This is also a northern specialty The price of dried salted fish is 45 BRL (60CNY≈8.4USD) per kilogram. They just told me to use the interpreter. She said this drink It’s like our witchcraft It’s like ecstasy. It’s a kind of witchcraft. When a woman wants to bind a boy. They give him this drink. And then she casts a spell on him. He’ll follow the woman to the end. I don’t know what to make of this translation. It’s an aphrodisiac. It’s an aphrodisiac. And then there’s also homosexuality, right? It’s all good. And good luck And DB. What game? I think it means gambling. They told me it’s not for drinking. It’s like perfume. It’s for rubbing on the body. She told me that these are for drinking. There’s some kind of syrup or something. It’s made from herbs. It’s an aphrodisiac. And then there’s the one for pneumonia. Diabetes. It’s quite superstitious. This is fish roe. Have you ever seen a roe this big? It’s like a glass ball They sell crabs here. This kind of crab is supposed to taste good. 7 BRL (9.3CNY≈1.3) per crab. This kind of crab? It lives in the border between fresh and salt water. We’re at the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean where the Amazon River meets the sea. Let’s finish this video. This trip has given me so many insights. Maybe I can’t end this video I can’t be very brief. But at the end I’m going to include a list of expenses that you’re interested in. I’d like to talk about the great voyage. The discovery of Brazil by Portugal was an accident. In 1500. The Portuguese fleet was going to take advantage of Westerly winds And then cross the West African The windless zone of West Africa. And reach the Cape of Good Hope into the Indian Ocean. But it was blown to Brazil. And then there’s the update to my video on iquique. I talked about it. Magellan Magellan’s voyage around the world was met with a lot of skepticism. People think it’s fake. How could Magellan Knew the Americas How could he have crossed the Americas to the Pacific Ocean? And then he died After he died in the philippines. How did his second-in-command know about the Indian Ocean? Then how did his deputy know about the Indian Ocean and how did he get to the Cape of Good Hope and back to Spain? In fact, in 1488. The Portuguese had already reached the Cape of Good Hope In 1488, the Portuguese had already reached the Cape of Good Hope. That’s why That’s why the Spaniards let Columbus, in 1492. To find a way to India. To find a way to India. And he ended up on what is now Caribbean islands. And Columbus didn’t know that. He thought it was India. So he named the locals Indian Magellan sailed around the world in 1519. At that time. Spain and Portugal had already started to colonize America So Magellan’s voyage around the world was a success The first man to embrace the earth He did not do it alone It was the experience of all the navigators The experience of all the navigators And accomplished this feat. That’s why I think The great voyage is a great era for mankind It’s human nature to avoid harm. And bravery is a rare gift from God.

The Age of Discovery (Exploration).
👍👍👍
Ake, you have a wonderful life
