瀧神社は、岐阜県美濃市乙狩にある神社で、高賀山を囲む高賀六社の1社。

10世紀中頃、この地に妖怪さるとらへびが住み付き、村人に危害を加えているのを聞いた朝廷が、藤原高光をこの地に遣わし、妖怪を退治させたという伝説がある。

滝の近くの洞に　さるとらへびの棲家があり、退治する目的で滝のほとりに祠を建立したのが、瀧神社の始まりと伝えられる。

Taki Shrine is located in Otogari, Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, and is one of the six Koga shrines surrounding Mt.

Legend has it that around the middle of the 10th century, when the Imperial Court heard that the yokai sarutora hebi had taken up residence here and were harming the villagers, they sent Fujiwara no Takamitsu to the area to exterminate the monsters.

It is said that the Sarutora snake lived in a cave near the waterfall and that a shrine was built by the waterfall to exterminate the snake, which was the origin of Taki Shrine.
