【株旅】あみやき亭(2753)本社を株主が視察|新業態の【感動の肉と米】を実食レビュー|愛知県 春日井市をぶらり一人旅【高配当株・優待銘柄・本社視察】
[Music] [Music] Hello, I’m a shareholder!
Right now, I’m at
Nagoya Station in the big city. I wonder when the maglev will finally open. This building rises 247 meters—
the tallest in the Chubu region. It’s the skyscraper Midland Square. Today, we’re visiting the headquarters
in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, of the yakiniku chain “Amiyakitei.” So, what kind of city is Kasugai, anyway? From Nagoya, we ride the JR Chuo Line looking out across the vast
Nobi Plain. After about 15 minutes, we arrive at Kachigawa Station. Outside the station you’ll see
new condominium towers standing in great numbers. The townscape is clean and tidy. Kasugai City is known as
“the town of cacti.” These mascots are called
Haruyo, Himaru, and Inosuke. Their names’ first characters
together spell “Kasugai.” That’s the idea behind the naming. Our destination, Amiyakitei’s headquarters, is about a 30-minute walk from here. By the way, right in front you can see Hotel Plaza Kachigawa— this is where Amiyakitei holds its shareholder meetings. Alright, let’s head out on foot toward
the Amiyakitei headquarters! This “Frante” is Yamanaka’s upscale supermarket. We’re getting close to Amiyakitei headquarters, but honestly, there’s not much around here… Just when I thought that, I spotted
the very restaurant that led me to buy Amiyakitei stock— the very first branch of “Kando no Niku to Kome” (Meat & Rice with Emotion)! A few more minutes’ walk and here it is—Amiyakitei headquarters! Even though it’s Saturday,
the parking lot is packed with cars. Absolutely full. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
they hold a “meat bargain sale” here. It’s hugely popular with the locals! It’s way too hot today, and since I’m on foot I can’t really buy and carry any meat… so I’ll just show you the exterior. so for now I’ll just show you the exterior. This is the company signboard—
simple but distinctive. Amiyakitei is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange,
code 2753. They run yakiniku restaurants mainly
in the Tokai region. In recent years, they’ve expanded into new styles
like buffet and meat-deli formats. And of course, this “Meat and Rice with Emotion”
is one of their new challenges. You can feel how deeply rooted they are
in the local community. From weekend bargain sales to family dining,
it’s truly a hometown chain. No wonder it’s so popular with locals. Seeing the crowd here makes me think
the company is stable and promising. That’s the shareholder’s perspective! You can really see how packed it gets with people. So let’s head back to that “Meat and Rice with Emotion” This very first branch opened in April 2021, right here near the headquarters. For around 1,000 yen you can order steak or hamburger steak, and get freshly cooked rice, miso soup, and pickles—unlimited refills. It’s an all-you-can-eat style restaurant. I’ll come back later to eat here. This is National Route 19, a fierce battleground lined with restaurant chains. Everywhere you look, it’s food competition. This is “Kiraku Honten,” a high-end yakiniku place run by Amiyakitei. Previously written in kanji as 喜楽, they revamped the style and just reopened on July 22. Personally, I kind of wish they had made it more like “Asakuma,” a hamburger steak restaurant, but… what do you think? [Music] Next door there’s “Second Street,”
a reuse shop run by GEO. [Music] Walk a little further and across the street you’ll find Hamayuu. And just a bit farther, there’s Yoshinoya. Cross that traffic light and there it is— the Amiyakitei flagship store! Here’s the exterior. On weekends, it’s always packed— a big, bustling yakiniku restaurant. [Music] They even include a dessert buffet. [Music] [Music] And right nearby—Gyoza no Ohsho, Tenizu, and Matsuya. This is Kasugai City Hall. Kasugai is a bedroom town for Nagoya,
with a population of over 300,000. Right in front of City Hall stands Token Corporation,
and next door, you’ll find bicycle retailer Asahi. [Music] And here’s the front of City Hall. and right beside it is Bicycle Asahi,
a nationwide chain. [Music] And here is the front entrance of City Hall. It’s a modern building that stands
as the center of local administration. Around here are various government offices,
so it feels like the civic hub. And beyond City Hall,
the main street stretches further. You’ll find banks, offices,
and typical suburban scenery. Kasugai doesn’t have tourist spots,
but it’s easy to live in. That’s why it’s well-known as a bedroom town for Nagoya. Many people live here and commute into the city. So you see a calm, residential atmosphere. Still, there are plenty of chain restaurants
and shops along Route 19. It’s convenient and lively in its own way. Here we have Yokozuna Ramen, and just ahead, you can see it— the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu chain “Yuzuan.” This one’s run by Monogatari Corporation. Across the road you’ll find KFC, Mac House, and a former Tokyo Shoes retail center. And right next to Yuzuan is Don Quijote. On Route 19 through Kasugai, you’ll find just about anything! Across from that Donki is “iias Kasugai,” a huge mall with Uniqlo, MUJI, Round1, Seiyu, and even Loft. Locals spend their weekends entirely here. In particular, MUJI here has the largest floor space in Japan. It’s that big. All of this is MUJI. The food court is packed too, and inside Round1— the crane game arcade is world-class with about 400 machines. It ranks among the top three in Japan. Not the number one, though. One of Kasugai’s unique features— it’s a city with a huge number of parks. Large ones include Asamiya Park and Ochiai Park, serving as relaxing spots for residents. It’s especially popular with families with children, and is highly rated as a comfortable place to live. Asamiya Park has not only a baseball field but also a full track-and-field stadium. [Music] [Music] From Asamiya Park to Ochiai Park runs this “Friendship Green Path,” a forest walkway. For some reason, it’s lined with lots of haniwa clay figures. There’s the Futagoyama Burial Mound nearby, and apparently these figures are related to it. Of course, the haniwa are replicas. [Music] Now we’ve arrived at Ochiai Park. It’s another large park, but today it’s just too hot— hardly anyone is outside. Still, Ochiai Park is spacious and full of greenery. When the weather is good,
families gather here for picnics. It’s also popular for sports and jogging. Kasugai may lack historic sights,
but it shines as a livable city. That’s exactly what you feel walking around here. Life here is steady, safe, and family-oriented. That’s probably why it keeps growing as a commuter town. And thanks to good transport access,
it’s convenient for residents. You can see why young families choose Kasugai. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable. That sums up the city’s character. They are also very active in community contributions. The Oji Paper plant is so vast I couldn’t capture it all, but it’s big enough that the district here is called Oji-cho, Kasugai. That shows its scale. Now, the main event of today— we’ve come to “Amiyakitei’s” new business model: Kando no Niku to Kome, “Meat and Rice with Emotion.” Hamburg steak starts from 950 yen. When you step inside, the first thing you notice is the ticket machine, just like in a ramen shop. You choose your meal and buy a ticket in advance. That’s the system. Now it’s around 2:30 in the afternoon— past the peak hours, so the restaurant feels calmer. Still, there are plenty of customers. At lunchtime or in the evening, lines go out the door. People queue all the way outside. That’s how popular it is. Today’s side dishes are beef shigure, nozawana greens,
kimchi, and wakame namul. And of course— unlimited rice! You just push a button, and the rice automatically comes out. The dish I chose was Garlic Miso Butter Chicken, 950 yen including tax. The aroma of garlic with the richness of butter— the meat is tender and the seasoning makes you want more rice. Perfect combination. Eggs used to be free, one per person, but now they cost 30 yen each. Perhaps due to rising prices. Even so, being able to eat this much for under 1,000 yen is still cheap. Both the side dishes and rice are all-you-can-eat. You can top your rice with raw egg, or add kimchi—whatever you like. You could eat bowl after bowl. The interior is simple and very clean. The walls and lighting highlight the main stars—
the meat and rice. The walls and lighting are designed
to highlight the true stars—meat and rice. It really feels like a “meat cafeteria” style. Quick, hearty, and satisfying. Different from a yakiniku restaurant,
yet still very Amiyakitei. For shareholders, it’s exciting
to see this new business take shape. If it spreads nationwide,
it could become a big growth engine. For now, it’s still a local test case. But the quality of food and price balance
are very promising. It could easily appeal beyond Kasugai. We’ll see how management expands this concept. And as a shareholder, I’ll be watching closely. If you enjoyed this, please give it a like and don’t forget to subscribe to the channel!
