臼杵観光協会お勧めの「城下町臼杵を巡る定番コース」に沿って歩いてみました。臼杵市観光交流プラザをスタート、稲葉家下屋敷、荘田平五郎記念こども図書館、野上弥生子文学記念館と回り、小手川商店で郷土料理のランチ。その後、久家の大蔵、二王座歴史の道、カニ醤油、サーラ・デ・うすきを巡り、再び観光交流プラザへ。最後に臼杵城跡に登り、市内を一望しました。

【義捐金受付開始】11月24日に発生した臼杵市八町大路の火災。その10日ほど前に撮影で訪れたばかりだったので大変驚きました。被災された方には心からお見舞い申し上げます。
