There is a city that the world remembers here with just a picture on a wall. The picture of a child on a bicycle , the picture of a man on a motorcycle, became the face of the whole city. Here, the city tells a story. Every corner has history. Every wall is a gallery. Oh, this is in the alley. Oh, this is cool. And just 150 kilometers from the Thai border, this is one of the few cities in the world that UNESCO has recognized as a world cultural heritage. Because here, art is not in a frame. Religion is not just in the temple. And culture is not separated on different streets. But it is a meeting point of 3 civilizations that can coexist perfectly. You may hear the chanting from the mosque. Walk past the smell of incense from the shrine. And end the day with roti, milk tea or Indian curry rice. And if you take the tram , passing up the mountain. Now it is going up fast. Like racing. You will find a different kind of city . Where nature is still hidden in peace. And all of this is part of the city that should be visited at least once in Malaysia. This is Penang. Hello, this trip. We are in Penang, Malaysia. I must say that this is another place that is very easy to travel to from Thailand. There are many tourist attractions, delicious food, beautiful photo spots . When I travel, I often encounter unfavorable weather, right? But I can still travel without worrying about getting sick or anything like that because I have something to help me. I can travel anywhere and enjoy myself. It doesn’t ruin the atmosphere when I have to travel with my friends. And my travel companions won’t get bored. But I’ll tell you what this thing is. Let’s see what there is to do in Penang right now. Okay, I’m in Penang now. This is my first time in Penang, Malaysia. I’ve heard of its reputation for a long time. It’s one of the cities that many people say is easy to travel to. Some people take the train, right? Some people fly here . Like me, I flew here. I just arrived. And I just checked in at the hotel. I have to say that this is a city where most people come to walk around. It’s a slow life. You can take beautiful pictures. The food is delicious. It’s a city that is famous for street food, one of the top in Asia. And as I said, the sun is very strong today. But I don’t know if it will rain because it rains a lot lately. So when the weather is not good, I have to say that I can still travel without worrying about getting sick . I have a little bit of a bad feeling about Malaysia. Have been to Malaysia 3 times, got sick 3 times in Malaysia, very confused. But I think I will try to take care of myself as best as I can this time. So I brought some helpers with me this time. But what will happen , we will tell you later. But today, we will go to Georgetown in Malaysia. I have to say that I just checked in at the hotel. The hotel we stayed at was called Victoria Gardens. When I first checked in, why was the hotel not the same as the one I booked? It turned out that next to it, there was another hotel called Victoria, but it was not Gardens. You have to walk a little further to Gardens. It is in the city center. You can actually walk around. In most tourist attractions, there is a lot of street art and graffiti. Today, we arrived in the late afternoon. Let’s go for a walk in the city. Are you ready? The sun is blazing. Kisses , Yenjai , Pinny. I changed your name every day. Let’s go. Today, we will walk around the hotel. I must say that it is 3:30 now. The sun is very nice. And in front of us is a cafe. I have to say that Penang is a city with a lot of cafes. And a lot of beautiful, cute cafes, street art . But what’s cooler is that Penang is the only city where we can experience many countries in one trip. But which country will it appear in? Let’s go see. We are in Penang, or Pulau Pinang. This is a state located in the northern part of Malaysia. It is the second smallest state in Malaysia, after Perlis . Penang can be divided into two parts: Penang Island , where the capital, Georgetown, is located; and the mainland, which is called Seberang Perai. The name Penang means areca palm , which comes from the fact that in the past, there were a lot of areca trees on this island. Thais in the past called this island Mak. The starting point, which is considered to be the pioneering era of this island, happened in 1786. Before that, Penang Island was still part of the state of Kedah. Until that year, Francis Light, an English merchant, traveled to the island and saw that this place was suitable for developing into a trading port. So he made an agreement to lease the island from the Sultan of Kedah. When the agreement was successful, Captain Light built the city of Georgetown on the island , naming it after King George III, the British King at that time. As for the name of the island… It was changed to Prince of Wales in honor of the Prince of Wales, who later became King George IV. The island was considered the first British colony in Southeast Asia. When the island was developed into a port city, Georgetown began to have more cultural diversity. There were workers and merchants from many ethnicities who immigrated to settle and build communities here. Later, after the end of the British colonial era, the island’s name was changed back to Penang. With the city’s outstanding history, in 2008 Georgetown was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This time, we will take you to see the city in general. Here we arrive, we see street art at the gate. This atmosphere in the city has many buildings like this. It’s a mix of European and European. The atmosphere is similar to when we walk around. Phuket has a similar atmosphere. In addition to street art, there are metal sculptures that are cut and painted into patterns. It’s very beautiful and cute. When we visit Georgetown, one thing that catches many people’s eyes the most is street art. This is the beginning of street art in this city. I must say that it happened after Georgetown was registered as a world heritage site , and the government itself wanted to add life to the city. So in 2009, a local artist named Tang Mun Kean came to create sculptures from wrought iron wires and installed them in various places around the city. But the turning point that made street art in Georgetown more widely known happened in 2012. A Lithuanian artist named Ernest Zakharevich came to paint on the walls in various places around the city. Each picture depicted the way of life of Penang people. The pictures that became iconic in the city were the pictures of a girl riding a bicycle and the picture of a boy riding a motorcycle. After this project was successful, other artists started to create their own works, up until today. Wall art has become one of the main charms of Penang and has become the image of Georgetown by default. And the first area, the first country we arrived at was Little India. This is an area specifically for Indians . In fact, the atmosphere around here is full of Indian music. There’s an Indian advertisement in there. Look, this is a movie that’s probably coming out. And over there is a fabric shop, with Indian music playing loudly. Wow, did you know that Georgetown is not only home to Malaysians and Chinese people, but also has an Indian community here? This area is called Penang’s Little India. It is an Indian community that was created by immigration during the colonial era . At that time, India was also a British colony. Georgetown was a port city that the British built, so Indian traders and workers flooded in to settle here. Today, this area is full of Indian shops, restaurants, and the oldest Hindu temple in Penang is also in this area. When I tried walking around, wow , the atmosphere in this area makes me feel like I’m in India. They didn’t just make it feel like a vibe. The whole area, the art that they put in, the things they sell, the media, the music that people hear, there’s Bollywood , fashion and fashion, jewelry, copyrighted music. It’s like being transported here . They sell masala, for sure. It’s like being transported here. It’s like being completely Indian. It’s not just the vibe. Even the people walking around are Indian. There’s a shop selling this. What is it? It’s like a garland. At first I saw pani puri, but looking at the picture, it’s the top corner. It looks a lot like sushi. But it’s not open today. Here’s Indian food. There’s also food here. The street food is really diverse. And this is the fire station, Central Fire Station. It ‘s so beautiful. Oh my, it’s red. And the design is so beautiful. They said that this is the first fire station in Penang and the oldest in Malaysia since 1908. I remember because it’s written on it. Okay, this is one of the landmarks of Georgetown. This is Central Fire Station 1908. I must say that this is the first fire station in Penang and one of the oldest fire stations in Malaysia. It has been open since 1908 until now. And importantly, they have a small exhibition zone inside. The highlight of this place is the classic architecture. It’s in the colonial style. It combines European and local styles . It has become a place where many people like to stop and take pictures. There’s also street art in the alley next door. It’s called Bomba Street Art. It’s an image of firefighters working. We can walk in and see it. Balai Bomba. They paint it in color. And inside, they call it street art. It’s firefighters. Oh, and they let tourists ride on it. It’s become a tourist attraction. They said that in the past, they were policemen. I am a firefighter. Until this station was established, there were real firefighters. Otherwise, the police had to be the ones to handle everything. Like, in the past, were there firefighting bicycles? With bicycles and hoses, where did you get the water from? Or did you connect them later? Like, to deliver the hose? Oh, it’s not ordinary . To put it simply, this place is like a tourist attraction in itself. Because everyone who comes, there will be an officer to take care of them. The officer will introduce what this is and so on. You can listen to various historical stories. But it’s really beautifully done, everyone. This building is for rent on the corner. Fara is the direct owner. Contact him. If anyone wants to rent and open something, it ’s white on the corner . All the tourists ride motorcycles as if they are firefighters. What kind of street is this? It’s called Lovely Bomba Street Art. Lovely. Look at it. It’s street art next to the train station. It’s so cute. Oh, look at what he did. And on the wall, I’m not sure who it is because it’s not English. But judging from his rank, it’s probably like a commander or something. Is it related to firefighting or not? Not sure. Next, this is so cute. Penguins and lions are also helping to put out fires. Call 999. If there is a problem, let’s help find the answer to what is inside the fire truck. What ‘s inside the fire truck? Let’s go find the answer. Come here. Let’s continue to look at these 3 guys. Important people are also drawn because I still don’t know them. Let’s keep walking. This is the way to save the world. Wow, he drew seriously. He drew seriously, worthy of being a street art city. Let’s walk to the pier. There’s a big pier over there . Oh , but let’s come here first. This is Jetty 35. Inside, there are many shops. It’s very cute. Now, we are at Jetty 35. This is a small alley. It’s a center for art, handicrafts, and various vintage items. Originally, this place was just an ordinary old warehouse. But later, it was renovated. It became a space for many artists. The purpose of creating this place was to promote handicrafts, arts , and traditional culture of Penang so that the new generation and the general public can access and participate more easily. So in addition to various shops, they also have an activity zone, a movie screening room, and a cafe. This is one of the most interesting small communities in the city . It’s actually like a community space. They wrote that Hall 1 has a creative cultural space, Hall 2 has an event space , Hall 3 has Sama Sama Café , a theater hall, and then there’s, Hey, Camping Vintage Lifestyle, Hall 5, crazy, I want to see Camping Vintage Lifestyle, what is it? But right now, I want an Americano. I’m going to faint. Let’s go inside. Wow, oh, this is Hall 5. Hall 5 is what they call Camping Vintage Lifestyle. So it ‘s vintage stuff like this? Vintage stuff, camping stuff. I mean, camping. My tongue is all twisted. It’s so cute. Oh, at first , this hall was really big. After walking a bit, it changed to Hall 3. I get it. It’s like a board for you to sit and take pictures . It ‘s so cute . The artwork is beautiful. Let’s look at the price. 8 Malaysian ringgit. So how much is it? 60 baht. Coffee is only 60 baht. It ‘s really hot outside. I ordered black coffee and it was really black. Very black. I’m a bit confused. Oh , but it’s delicious, very strong , really black. I think this place is like an old warehouse. It’s a warehouse that was turned into a shop. It’s in an alley. It ‘s beautiful. It’s like putting everything together and it looks good. I walked past a Thai restaurant. The name of the restaurant is Chalawan Thai Restaurant. Why does it not look very Thai? The food… Oh, here it is. Shrimp paste fried rice, fried rice, pad thai. A noodle shop . Chill Jetty Big Bowl. A big bowl of Chinese noodles or something. Here it is. Street food. Wow, there’s so much. I do n’t know what it is. Fried rice. Okay. We’re here. The sign says don’t park in front. Let’s go. Inside is a place where tourists come. It’s a pier. Around here, there are rice restaurants, cafes . And now we’ve been warped to China. And because Georgetown is on an island, one of the ways of life that we will clearly see is the fishing community. On the riverside of this city, there will be a zone called a fishing village. It was founded by overseas Chinese. They immigrated to Penang in the 19th century. The highlight is each house. It is a wooden house built out into the sea. And it is divided into small communities called jetties , which means port. Each jetty is named after the whip or the family name of the Chinese who came to settle. Like the point we are going to, this is Chiew Jetty. It is the jetty that tourists like the most because it has many cute shops and souvenir shops. Another point is Tan Jetty, which is located nearby and has a quieter atmosphere. The highlight of Tan Jetty is the wooden bridge that stretches out into the sea like this. In the evening, when the sun is about to set, The atmosphere is very good. It has become another photo spot that people like to stop by. Okay, now I’m at Chill Jetty. This place is called a port of the Chinese families who immigrated here. And they built houses on the water. In fact, many people will be confused about why they immigrated here. Why didn’t they build on land? Why did they have to build it jutting out into the water? The reason is because of taxes. Because being on land is expensive. So they built it jutting out into the water. There are many families in this area. Let’s go see . Oh, it’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wow. Oh , but in fact, Georgetown has been here since the 19th century. Oh, they’re writing about where people came from, right? Xinglin Che, Tong’an, what? Guanzhou. Hey, I can’t read it. I’m not sure if it’s pronounced Fujian . And the houses are like this. The port. Okay, as I said, we’re being warped to China here. But they’re overseas Chinese who immigrated here and built a port jutting out into the water. There’s a lot of food. Clothes. Souvenirs. Oh, there’s this honeycomb snack. It’s like in Hong Kong. The atmosphere is similar to the Koh Chang port. It’s like when we went to Koh Chang, there was a pier that juts out like this. And on that island there was a lighthouse. No, I mean on Koh Chang, there’s a lighthouse. There probably isn’t one here, but it juts out really deep. This is where people come to visit. Wow, the atmosphere is great. It looks cleaner than I thought . Normally, piers are a bit messy and dirty, right? But this pier is considered very clean. And there’s street art all the way to the sea. This man is swinging in a hammock. Fish cutting board. Children jumping into the water. And there’s a cat up there. Oh, the destination . There’s a restaurant . What’s this? Is it a pier? Oh, there’s a tourist boat. It opens from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s a boat service to see the sea view. It’s a 20-minute boat ride to take pictures. The atmosphere is much better than I thought. Like I said, there are families. There are clans. And each clan has its own separate pier. For example, Chiu is one of the families. But this place is the most famous because there are restaurants and things like that. Let people come to walk, shop, buy things. Let’s go to another jetty. It’s right next to it. That’s Tan Jetty. Tan Jetty is actually a bit more peaceful . There’s a long bridge that goes down into the water. People go there to take pictures. Let’s go check it out first because I’ve never been there. Pinny said Freshgor, but actually it’s pronounced as Freshgor. Freshgor / Who is Freshgor? I don’t know, but it’s in Thai. Great . What is First Air Sales and Service Engineering? The one with incense sticks? I don’t know. Another activity that people like to do this evening is to ride in a wheelchair to see around the old city. But we won’t ride it. Bomba means fire extinguishing, right? I ‘ve seen them use the same word everywhere. It’s very beautiful. The color scheme: red, mustard yellow. We’ve arrived at Tan Jetty. There’s a Thai restaurant here as well. Thai Food Restaurant. Tan Jetty is a long bridge. There aren’t many houses next to it. But there are people who come to visit. They blocked it off to prevent cars from driving in. It’s like having a guide take you in and sightseeing. I heard someone secretly say that in that house, there are more than 8 rooms. And look, they raise pigs. Oh, not pigs. But French bulldogs, Tut- tah . At the end of the road, there will be a long bridge. And there will be a house over there and over there. They come to take pictures. It should be beautiful. Wait and see . Actually, the path is quite narrow. But you can walk past each other. But there is a fear of falling because they are very close together. Hey, wait a minute. Is this a rock? A floating rock? No , what is it? A rock. Oh, the rock just now had legs. Not legs. Oh, it has legs? I don’t know. I thought it was a turtle . What is that? / The rock, it ‘s not something . How can it float? There’s a red back on this end. This should be a bathroom . Here, this is an open -system bathroom . It opens to the sea floor . It’s not only open, the door is open. The door is broken. It ‘s an open-system bathroom. Excellent. Oh, this is the fishing club. Everyone comes to fish. Wow, the destination is beautiful. You can see the horizon. Over there, there’s a Chinese temple. It’s yellow. It’s beautiful. And if you look back, you’ll see houses . It’s proportioned like this. And everyone, come answer the question. What is this thing? It looks like a rock, but it floats. If it was a real rock, it shouldn’t float. A rock this big should sink but it can float. Or is it a lump of soil that fell off ? Send your answers in the comments. Now, let’s find the truth together. Okay, everyone. It’s getting late. Let’s go have lunch. Today, we’re going to eat. I don’t know if there will be many people, but we’ll use the random method by not searching for information first. Actually, we will have restaurants that we have searched for according to reviews. There are many restaurants. Which will be separated into another EP. It’s an EP of eating street food in Penang. But today we will take you to eat at a restaurant that we saw a review of. It got 4.9 on Google Maps , but there were thousands of reviews. But it should be Thai food because it uses the word Moo Krata in English, like Moo Krata. We went and saw people riding bicycles. Why do I feel like so many shops are closed today? Every shop is closed. Yes, it is open, but it looks like many of them are closed. But don’t worry about the food shops, everyone. There are so many. What other shops are there? The noodle bar is behind us. There are a lot of durian shops. And they also use Chinese. The shops here are beautiful. They look like classic buildings, but they add a modern touch to the decorations. This is definitely a Thai shop. The name is Cheewit Cheewa. At first, I thought it was some kind of language. When I read it, Cheewit Cheewa is Thai. There are a lot of people. It’s a dessert shop. There are many interesting shops. Those who like cafe hopping should be happy. In addition to taking pictures, this is an art theater, China House. I’m not sure what’s inside. A tiger shop, a bamboo serpent shop, a dessert shop. Oh, this is in the alley. Now there’s street art. Oh, this is cool. This is an art lane. The shop’s name is cute. Many people already know it. No matter where I go, I often encounter rain or the weather is quite unstable. When I travel and feel unwell, a fun trip will immediately become a shaky trip. Wherever I go , I don’t really go all out. The weather in Penang is quite unstable at the moment . It changes frequently. Sometimes it’s hot, sometimes it rains. If anyone comes to travel and feels unwell, has a headache, starts to have a runny nose, you must have this. D-Collagen, which relieves cold symptoms, runny nose. And if the trip encounters rain or sun, many people may have headaches, fevers, and runny noses very easily. But D-Collagen, one pill can handle it. It covers all symptoms. It makes us have fun wherever we go. We don’t have to worry about getting sick anymore. There are a lot of Thai restaurants. This restaurant is called Tem Aim Moo Kratha. There is no one. Are you confused? The English name of the restaurant is Tem Aim Charcoal Moo Kratha. There is not a single person. I am very confused. But in the reviews, everyone, that are on the screen right now, wow, it’s brutal. There are a thousand reviews and it’s 4.9 or is it not time to eat yet? Okay, this is the restaurant we will stop at. Because judging from the reviews, there are a lot. This time, let’s test whether the reviews on Google Maps in Penang are reliable or not. We didn’t follow this, but we don’t know the nationality of the reviewers. Oh, there are Thais who reviewed it. It ‘s delicious. For those who miss it. You must try grilled pork in Thailand. You can try it even if there are no people there. And now, for those of you who are watching on YouTube, we have a membership. Open for everyone. Sign up now. It ‘s about 80 baht per month. So, for anyone who wants to support us and our team, go and sign up. The shop presents its signature dish, grilled pork . We were like, how is this grilled pork different from grilled pork in Thailand? Let’s order some. It ‘s a huge pot! Look, it’s a huge grilled pork. What kind of content creator is this? Right now, all the songs are fighting, so the copyright shouldn’t be affected. We don’t know who will get it. There are copyright fights between Thai and Indian songs. Let’s take a look. Penang grilled pork, but it’s Thai grilled pork. Guaranteed by Thais. In foreign countries, there are 3 types of dipping sauces: not spicy, medium spicy and very spicy. They are all delicious. The pork is actually quite good. Try eating it with the non-spicy sauce, it will be sweeter. Both are delicious, in different ways. Delicious. Can I still eat the noodles? It seems like they are not cooked any further. Crazy . The auntie said, Hey, why are you eating it so hard? She said she didn’t care. When dipping it with the pork, the non-spicy one was more delicious. Or was she just imagining it ? It’s delicious , delicious. It’s not incredibly delicious. But it’s a delicious restaurant. If anyone wants to eat grilled pork, Thai style. In Penang, there’s only this place. Don’t worry. He told us to try ordering grilled pork. So we ordered it. It’s grilled pork on a stick like in Thailand, but it looks a little bit like a lump. Hey, don’t be silly . It’s delicious. You know it’s freshly grilled. Delicious , but very hot. Delicious. They grilled it a little burnt, so it ‘s delicious. The grilled pork is delicious. Good stuff . Finished. It ‘s really delicious. Actually, this place is near Little India. The taste is okay. And according to the reviews, there are a lot of them. But if you were to go to Thailand, it would be considered an okay restaurant. It might not be too much, but it is considered delicious for coming here. It is delicious. I will go back to the hotel soon. See you tomorrow. Oh, the price just now was very good. 100 Malaysian ringgit is about 800 baht. About a hundred, 104-105 Malaysian ringgit is about 800 baht. It is only 200 baht per person. It is very cheap. So if you come here, do not worry about the price. It is not expensive . The atmosphere in the evening is really good. There is also a coffee lane. I am not sure if it is a real coffee shop lane or the name of the shop . But it is quiet now . Tomorrow, we will go up to Penang Hill. It should be a landmark here. We will go up. But I do not know if we will go up to Habitat. I am still deciding because it is quite expensive. And I feel that it will take too much time. I want to visit many places. So I am still deciding. But I will talk about it tomorrow. Let’s go to bed. See you in the morning. Bye-bye. Hello. What should I say? See you tomorrow. Bye-bye. Hello everyone. That’s it for today. Actually, before this we went to eat. We went to a cafe. But we filmed it separately in another EP. We’ll go to different photo spots in Penang. Where are they? Let’s go see. And they found a cat cafe. So fluffy. Hey, wearing gold? Hey, having money and gold. Oh, this is a show. Is there a show filming here? Let me show you a little. Let me show you a little. Here, there will be an old building. Its name is Bunwa. It’s actually green on the corner. And I thought that if I took a picture, it would look nice because many people came to take pictures. Like, posing like crossing the street or something. It looks interesting. There are a lot of cafes around here. And they look luxurious, good-looking. It has a mix of Chinese and European styles. We will have to eat at this restaurant for lunch, right ? Or is it a different restaurant? Tteok Tteok Mee Bambu Noodle. Now, we’re here. Georgetown World Heritage Incorporated. It’s a white building. When you take a picture at the corner, it should look nice. Let me skip it for a moment because I want to take a clear picture. It’s very difficult to take a picture. There are a lot of cars. They drive back and forth everywhere. But here, we’ve warped everyone to another country. This is Armenia. And this area is Armenian Street. It’s a community area in the past. There were really Armenians living there. It ’s Armenian Street. Let’s walk along this street and see what’s there. They have bicycles for rent. So we should be able to scan the app and unlock it. Then we’re good to go. It looks nice. There are three bikes. It depends on where we want to ride. This is where we are. This is a map of this area. Wow, there are so many things to see. There are Chinese-style temples here. Oh, they are having an event, right? Perayaan Warisan George Town 2025. They are having an event and a stage. Oh, I get it. Let ’s go to one of the famous streets in Penang called Armenian Street . This street wasn’t originally called that. Originally, it was called Malay Lane . Then, in 1808, it was renamed Armenian Lane because there was a large number of Armenians immigrating here. However, today, there are almost no Armenians left. Most of the people who came in were Chinese. For example, in 1910, Sun Yat-sen, a Chinese revolutionary , used a house on this street to hold a meeting to raise funds for overthrow the Qing dynasty. Today, that house has been converted into the Sun Yat-sen Museum. It can be said that this street has history. Very interesting, but what makes this area famous is the murals by Ernest Zakharevich that I mentioned earlier. It’s a picture of a girl riding a bicycle with a boy riding behind her. If anyone comes here, you have to take a souvenir photo. This is the street. Actually, the houses are similar in each zone, but this place also mixes European style. Actually , it’s a mix of many places. It’s European, Chinese, Malay. Oh , here it is. Armenian street, lots of umbrellas, and a Chinese temple. Wow, this temple is beautiful. The fact that there are carts parked here makes it look even more beautiful. Oh, there are a lot of bicycles here . The street is very lively . At first, I thought there wouldn’t be this many. Now there are a lot. It ‘s full of shops . I feel that this place is really beautiful. The street is like the way of life and culture of the people. But in reality, it should be blocked off to make it a walking street because when cars are driving, it’s very chaotic . If it were blocked off, there would be only bicycles and tricycles. It would be very beautiful. This shop is very cute. Look at the bicycles on top. This is a bike rental shop. It costs 10 Malaysian ringgit, which is about 70 baht per day. Wow , that’s not expensive per day . It ‘s cute. Here it is. And on this alley, there are umbrellas. Hang them up a lot . Hey, do you have innovation? / I can’t take it anymore . You can buy it now. Below. There’s no sponsor, but we need it. This is it . Black clouds. I actually walked into this zone. Now I understand why the city is cute. Let’s go see this street art. This is the most famous street art in Penang. He blew so beautifully . When he blew , the atmosphere here was like Europe. This area is cute. If we didn’t come when it was hot, here it is. Batik Painting Museum Penang Look, there are many cute cafes. This one is called Woody. It’s very inviting. If we weren’t full, this is the most famous street art in this area. The picture of a kid riding a bicycle here is the top. Now I understand why it’s famous. It’s so beautiful. He drew it beautifully and it has a three-dimensional effect with a real bicycle. This bicycle was cut in half and then pasted. It’s like taking a younger brother riding on the older sister’s bicycle and Guangzhou acrobats carrying a pole. The pose is so cool . Everyone, look at the cafe. Every cafe here is beautiful. They’re all so cute. They’re all photogenic. And now, everyone, we’re going to move to the Middle East. Here we go to the mosque. See? Walking in one place in one city, so diverse. They say that this is the oldest mosque in Georgetown. It ‘s quite unusual. The architectural style is quite mixed. As for the Kapitan Keling Mosque, I must say it’s the oldest mosque in Penang. It was built since 1801 to accommodate the Indian Muslims who began to migrate to Penang in increasing numbers. The word Kapitan Keling was used to refer to the leader of the Indian Muslim community during the colonial era of Penang. The word Kapitan comes from the word Captain , which means leader. Keling is the word used to refer to Indian Muslims. So, they chose to name the mosque this way to honor the first community leader who built this mosque. In the past, this word was a common term, but nowadays, it is considered a rather impolite word. The current mosque building that you see here was renovated in 1916. The architectural style you see here is Islamic architecture influenced by India. The mosque is currently under construction and is being renovated. But I just want everyone to see that there is a lot of diversity in one city. It is a very multicultural city . Of course, there should be a lot of Muslims in this area because of the mosque. I saw that many restaurants around here started to serve Middle Eastern food. They posted a sign saying “Welcome to Kapitan Mosque” for non-Muslims who have appropriate dress codes. You can visit the mosque. Basically, you have to dress appropriately to visit it. How should you dress? It should be like this. And dress like someone who comes to the mosque. You shouldn’t do this. Let’s go ahead and come back to the hotel for a bit. We’ll go a little further. About half an hour to Wat Khao Tao. Wat Khao Tao is the name that Thai people call it, but it’s actually a Chinese temple. It’s near Penang Hill. Let’s stop and buy a cup of coffee . The shop is opposite the hotel. We’ve arrived. Wat Khao Tao. Wow, it’s really on the hill. It’s really high. I know it’s a temple on the hill, but the way up is really high. No wonder there’s a cable car to go up. This is the largest Mahayana Buddhist temple in Penang. It ‘s known as Kek Lok Si. It was built in 1891 by a Chinese monk named Biao Lian. He traveled from Fujian Province and settled in Penang. The reason he built the temple here was because he saw that this place had good feng shui. I have to say that the temple is very large. The architecture is beautiful. It’s like being in a Chinese palace. The highlight of this temple is the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda, which is characterized by its blend of Mahayana and Theravada styles, namely the Chinese octagonal base. The middle part is designed with Thai craftsmanship and the top is Burmese style. It also houses more than ten thousand Buddha images. Another highlight is the top of the temple. This is where the large Guan Yin statue is located, which is 30 meters high. Okay, we’re here. People often come here to pray for luck. They throw coins at the turtle. That’s what they said. But I’m not sure how they usually walk up. They said the elevator is under repair. So we’ll pay 8 Malaysian ringgit for one way , but if we go back and forth, it’s actually cheaper. Like now, if it’s after 4 pm, they said they’ll only sell one way, but we can actually walk down. But there’s a bit of confusion. You have to take a van from the first floor to the second floor, and then the cable car. Oh, someone will call us right away. They’re waiting to pick us up . We can actually walk up ourselves, but it takes a long time. If we want to go faster, it’s easier to take the car up and then walk down. We’re here. Come on. We should probably get on the golf cart. Get on the golf cart. Once we’re done getting on the golf cart, I think I have to take the cable car, not sure. Coming in a confused state, going in a confused state. Oh, I mean, I circled back and parked here. I just drove the car. That’s it. That’s it. And then you continue. Coming like a rich kid, I’m still confused. The first step is to take a van up. At the first point that the van drove, it seems like we can actually take a Grab up by ourselves. But I don’t know if there’s a place to buy tickets or not. But I think there was a booth just now. When you’re done, take a golf cart. The golf cart drives up a little bit. When you’re done, you pass by a lot of shops here, right? And it should be the third to fourth station. That’s the elevator, then the cable car. Okay, and then we come in here. There we go. We’re here . The top floor. It’s high. I’m not kidding. Oh, is this still under construction? Goddess? No, it’s finished. Guan Yin is very big. Here it is. And this is the real Khao Tao Temple. It’s an extremely magnificent Guan Yin statue. Can you drive up there? I had no idea . Okay, and everyone shouted together, Wilson (beautiful view). Wow, we went up so high today. We can see Penang. It’s so far away. The foreigners rented a car to drive up here. I didn’t know it could reach this far. Otherwise, I would have called a Grab to park here. Or maybe they didn’t let me go up. I don’t know. To be honest, this temple is really, really big. The pillars are carved with patterns and stories all over. But I’m running out of time because the last place to go is Penang Hill. It’s going to be too dark. We have to go down quickly. Let’s go, guys. Okay, I’ll buy an elevator. From the fourth floor to the third floor , I think I’ll walk the rest myself because it looks really high. It might take some time. This is the main prayer hall. Oh, oh , to enter the church, you have to pay another 2 Malaysian ringgits. This seems like money. To go down there, do you have to walk on the road? Or is there a way through here ? I think I’ll get lost here. It doesn’t say where to go. The more I walk, the more confused I get. How is this? Okay , I’m lost, I’m lost. Okay, let’s take a Grab. Let’s go to Penang Hill. It looks nice and modern. They told me the time to go up Penang Hill. I checked and there are 2 options. Don’t go early in the morning. Like 6 am, you should go in the evening because the weather will be better. And there should be fewer people now. Judging from the situation , if you come during a holiday or prime time, I have to say that there will be a lot of people. There won’t be many people. I’ll go buy a ticket first and then go up. As for this place, it must be called the highlight and landmark of Penang. This is Penang Hill. It is one of the natural attractions in Penang. It is a beautiful viewpoint of the city. The beginning of Penang Hill was developed during the time when Penang was a British colony. The person who pioneered the route was Francis Light. He intended this place to be like a vacation home for British officers because it is on a hill that is higher than the city, right? So the air is cooler. And in the beginning, it was not easy to get up here. Because you have to walk, ride a horse or sit on a stretcher. Until in 1923, the British built a tram to get up here. It is considered the first electric tram line in Southeast Asia. Currently, the most convenient way to get up Penang Hill is to take the electric tram. There are 2 types of tickets : the normal ticket costs 30 ringgit or about 230 baht and the other is the fast lane ticket for 80 ringgit or about 600 baht. When we went, there weren’t many people. So we bought the normal ticket. We can get on the tram at the lower station and go straight to the upper station. It takes about 5-10 minutes. During that time, we can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery. And when we get to the upper station There will be many more places to visit for us to take pictures. Oh, they asked if we were tourists or working here. If we work here, we have to show it. But if we are just tourists , do we want a card? A card. Okay, then keep your passport. We don’t need it. So, in summary, it is 30 ringgit per person, which is about 200 baht. It is a round trip ticket. If you only want to go one way, it is 15 ringgit. When you get off, do you have to walk down like this? It sounds discouraging. Let’s go, everyone. There is a normal lane. Wow , the air conditioning is very cold. In here, there will be a history. About inheritance If it was during normal times, the queue would be long. But now we came in the evening, the queue was quite short. We got in right away. It was comfortable. The queue was not long, but we had to wait. As for the Express, there was no queue at all. So whoever wants to go fast can use the money . It is an elevator like this. We squeeze in and slide up. Right now, it is going up fast. It is racing. It is almost like a ride . Look at the speed that is running through the window. See? It is fast. I am not playing. I am pretending to play. We have reached the top. The weather is getting cooler. It ’s much higher, several times higher than the previous measurement. Okay, let’s see what’s up there. My hair is all messed up now. I don’t care because it’s all wet. Let’s see what other tickets we can buy up there. Oh, the ticket to get off. This is for waiting to get off. There’s nothing. There’s a skywalk here. You should be able to see the whole view. The one I just saw was the bridge that crosses to the mainland from Penang Island. Because from up here, it’s very clear . It’s like you can see far away, all the way to the mainland. Look, everyone. You can see too far. Over there, the bridge is over there. What’s up there? Let’s go up and take a look. I ’ve never been here. The temperature is better up here, but it’s still not cold. But if you come in another season or early morning, it should be better. Oh, this is one more floor up. There are rooms, places to sit, and shops up there. Okay, from up here, we can see the whole island of Penang. I should have been to the temple we just went to. And here we are, Penang Hill up here, which allows you to see the whole island. This is the bridge that I saw. The bridge to the mainland. And then in the future, they wrote, ” Future development” means they’ll probably reclaim the island. This is just my guess, because it’s a dotted line in the water. Let’s take a look ahead. It’s as far as the eye can see. Look, everyone. There are Thai people here, too. Hello, hello. I’d like some more coffee. / Where ? I don’t know. / Oh, there’s a song up there. Oh, they reclaimed the island, right? Right? / They must have reclaimed it. They just built a building, too. Oh, really? Yes. Filled up. The future development that we just saw on the map is definitely prosperous. Is that what I’ve seen on YouTube ? Those two, right? Yenjit, Yenjit and Pinjai. They said… This young man broke the rules. If you don’t go up to the habitat, it’s like we’re going up to sit and chill and enjoy the view. Let ‘s go sit at a cafe. Enjoy the view since we’re already up there. Make the most of the atmosphere. Drink some cold water and he also ordered some bingsu. Unbelievable, there’s bingsu in Penang on Penang Hill. It’s so sweet, delicious , and quick. It’s a way up to enjoy the view, take a walk, and relax in the cool air. But if there are people who want to go up to see the view from above, there’s a place called the habitat. You can go up, but the habitat costs a lot more. So we decided not to go up there. Let’s just go up to look here and then go down and enjoy the atmosphere . On the way up, it goes up very fast. Let’s see how fast it goes down when we go down. Hey, it’s quite fast. Look, this is the train line. A little bit, but not that much. We’ve come down safely. The weather is starting to get better. They said that this trip is sometimes hot, sometimes rainy, sometimes the weather is a little bit unstable . But it’s okay. Okay , we’ll call a Grab. I forgot to mention that in Penang, if you want it to be convenient, you can easily call a Grab. It will pick you up in a moment and you can go into the city. You can go anywhere. One round, like in the city to here, is not too expensive. It’s about 100 baht, I think. Good morning, bright and clear morning. The weather should be hot today. The weather forecast said it might rain today. I just checked it , but it’s okay. It’s the day we’re going back. But it’s raining a little. It’s raining a little. I have to say that the weather in Penang is actually quite okay right now. I mean, it might not rain every day. But there will be days when it rains quite a lot. And the weather during the day is hot. It’s not so hot that it’s burning, but everyone will feel hot. So when you come to travel, you have to prepare yourself a little bit. Because Penang is a city where we focus more on walking around. For example, we walk along the streets, see street art, right? You will see the beauty, see the diverse cultures. As I said, this time we went to many countries. We flew to Malaysia, right? We went to China, we went to Europe, we went to India, we went to the Middle East, we went to Armenia, everywhere. It’s a different culture, but in Penang, it’s perfectly blended. And I’m not surprised why this place is a world heritage site. It ‘s a world heritage site. It’s beautiful, very beautiful, especially the food and cafes. And everyone likes to eat, likes cafes, hopping, you have to come to Penang. And as you can see, no matter where we travel, if we feel sick while traveling, right? Feeling unwell, the whole trip, I have to say, it won’t be fun at all. Because this is my 5th time in Malaysia. Believe it or not, I got sick 4 times in 4 rounds. At first, I was a little obsessed with Malaysia, wondering if something was wrong. But this time, I didn’t get sick. But the weather is making me feel sick. So before traveling, prepare yourself well. Clothes, various items, umbrellas, raincoats, and don’t forget to bring this, Decalgen, with you. Because just one pill can take care of all your symptoms. Whether it’s a cold, runny nose, headache, or fever, just carry it in your bag. No matter what the weather is like, you can travel without any problems. This is what I’m preparing for Malaysia. So whoever is going somewhere, don’t forget it. Carry it with you because we really don’t know if we encounter changing weather conditions or if we might get sick. So it’s better to prepare and be careful beforehand so that you can travel easily and have fun like before 100%. As for anyone who likes this clip, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to us.
