The lead vehicle is the Reviewing Troop Commander, Deputy Regimental Commander of the Tohoku Area Artillery Regiment , the backbone of the Tohoku Area Artillery Regiment’s ground firepower unit. Their main equipment is the 155mm FH70 howitzer. Headquarters Company Commander, Intelligence Company Commander, 2nd Battalion Commander, HQ Management Company Commander, 3rd Company Commander, 4th Company Commander, 4th Battalion Deputy Battalion Commander, HQ Management Company Commander, 2nd Lieutenant Endo Yuji, from Hachimantai City, 8th Company Commander, 9th Company Forward Observation Team Leader, Next up is the 9th Reconnaissance Fighter Battalion, which uses vigilance, surveillance, mobility, and firepower over a wide area to gather information necessary for the division’s operations. Their main equipment is the Type 16 Mobile Combat Vehicle, commonly known as an MCV, which is a 105mm In addition to rifles, it is equipped with 7.62 mm machine guns and 12.7 mm heavy machine guns. The 9th Reconnaissance Combat Battalion Commander, Headquarters Management Company Commander, Reconnaissance Company Commander, Combat Company Commander , is the 9th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, whose main mission is to shoot down enemy aircraft and protect troops and important areas. Its main equipment is anti-aircraft radar, short-range surface-to-air guided missiles (commonly known as “Kyo SAM”), and short-range surface-to-air guided missiles (commonly known as “Short SAM”). The 9th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion Commander, Headquarters Management Company Commander , 2nd Company Commander , is the 9th Logistics Support Regiment, whose main mission is maintenance and field maintenance support. This is the 2nd Maintenance Battalion. It is equipped with a Type 78 tank recovery vehicle and is capable of recovering tracked vehicles. Commander of the 2nd Maintenance Battalion Headquarters Commander Anti-aircraft Direct Support Unit Commander Reconnaissance Combat Direct Support Unit Commander Next is the 387th Engineer Company, which utilizes its engineering machinery capabilities to provide combat and logistical support. It is equipped with a Type 81 self-propelled trestle bridge, which allows it to build bridges over valleys and rivers and allow vehicles to pass through. Commander Next is the 305th Artillery Direct Support Company and the 105th Engineer Direct Support Battalion, Iwate detachment, whose main mission is to provide maintenance support for artillery and engineering units.
