【避暑ライド】標高1800m超え! 天空の林道富士線を登る(字幕あり)

Yes, today I would like to climb the Fuji Line forest road. From the end of Hokuroku Park, I will go around towards Narusawa and then take the Narusawa Line forest road, the Light Water Line, and then the Fuji Line to the highest point. The temperature is low due to the wind from the plateau. The humidity is high. Hokuroku Park is already ahead to the right. Yes, I have entered the Narusawa Line forest road. After passing the Light Water Line and the Fuji Line, I will continue on to the highest point of about 1860m. It is 15km long. I will go at a leisurely pace. The first half is tough. Ah, they are the people going to Fujiten. After overcoming a very steep slope at the beginning , we arrived at Fujiten. I’m going this way instead of going this way. Oh, there’s an event going on? Maybe they’re having a long ride. A narrow section of the Narusawa Line forest road. How many kilometers left until the Keisui Line. I just went down, but the road continues to climb. The bear bell isn’t ringing. It would be a gravel road if it was gravel. Now, I’m going up again. Wow, it’s steep. Of course I have bear spray with me. Bear spray. A car is coming. The Narusawa Line forest road has risen in altitude quite a bit and it’s cool, or should I say chilly. It’s about 1300. Wow. Several buses have passed by so far, I’m not sure what’s going on, but it seems like there’s an event going on . Well, it’s probably not bicycles, I guess. I feel like I can calm down a bit here . I can see the top of Mt. Fuji. I wonder if it’s okay to be alone in the mountains like this. Anyway, it continues like this for a while and at the end it opens up a bit. I’m climbing the forest road, Light Water Line. It’s cloudy and cool. The altitude is 1517m. I can’t replenish water in the mountains, so I use a hydration backpack. I’m scared of bears, so of course I’m ringing a bear bell. I’ll climb up to 1860. It’s still a long way off. But it feels good. The Hachikensen forest road is open. But I’m sure you can’t enter it. Now, I’ve come to a place with a good view. Wow, I can’t see anything. There should be a great view to the left here, but in summer it’s no good. We’re almost at 1600. We should be able to see Lake Kawaguchi to the left, but we can’t see it at all. Once when I was coming down from the other side, I saw a car coming up the hill at full speed like it was a WRC, and I almost died. Apart from a few strange people like that, there are hardly any cars. The road is rough but peaceful. Oh, the clouds are hanging over Mt. Fuji. Oh well, it can’t be helped. Oh, we’re over 1600. 1604. If we could open it up like this, we could cut the grass and make a good road. All right. The slope continues at a moderate level. Yes. This is the end of the Light Water Line. Just keep going. Follow the road. Follow the road and enter the Fuji Line forest road. Pair pin curves 1759, 1760 , about 100m away. The gradient increases a little from here. Yes. All right. Yes. Almost there. I can see the peak on the elevation map. 1839 40 but this is the peak. It’s always off. I reached the peak at 1852. Just keep going down. There’s nothing here. Future Shock Loosen It’s noisy. We descend all the way to a scenic spot. The blind corners are scary. Yes. It’s a scenic spot, but it looks like there’s some kind of fog or smoke. Wow. We’re also doing it. Now, can you see Mt. Fuji? Wow , it looks like you can only see a little bit of the top. That’s a bit disappointing. Ah. Wow, it’s amazing. The Southern Alps. Below that you can see the Asagiri Plateau. You can faintly see Lake Motosu in the distance , but there are a lot of bugs and I keep getting bitten so I’m heading home early . We descend all the way. There are a lot of oncoming cars. Be careful. Blind corners. It’s cool. Ah, the steps are drying my contacts. Heave-ho. Oh. It’s cold. A little cold. Oh. The steps. There’s another great view point here, can you see it? Whew. You can see all around from here, but it’s a bit hazy today. 1330 We descended more than 500m. Amazing! 500m in one go. Ah, I can’t see Mt. Fuji very well. It’s getting much lower. It’s great. I can’t see this at all. Yes. I climbed a little uphill and passed under the Subaru Line. The altitude has dropped a lot and it’s now below 1294 and 1300. I can hear the sound of cars on the Subaru Line. Well, I got a little cold because I went downhill. Yes. This is the Subaru Line. This is where there is a place like a rest area for the Subaru Line. It feels like we are climbing in parallel. There are restrooms and things like that. This is pretty much the only climb back up. It always shows a climb, but there is almost no climb. I come out to a deforested area. Oh, a step. The humidity has increased considerably. The temperature has risen. Yes. It’s about the last 1km of the Fuji Line forest road. It’s rough. After the Fuji Line forest road, we came out onto the rough paved road of the Yoshidaguchi hiking trail. From here, we descend about 1km to Nakano Chaya. This is where the bear was spotted recently. It’s rough here. Gravel is probably better. Yes. Now we’ve come out where we came up here and turned. So we can make a loop. Well, I don’t have the energy to do two laps, but I think it’s a good practice course. That’s all for now. See you next time!
