家屬的應援指南 佐呂間湖100公里超級馬拉松

Cheer up! Cheer up! Cheer up! Cheer up! Li Bo, First of all, let’s talk about how to sign up for the Lake Saroma 100-kilometer race. Firstly, registration is done on the website runnet.jp. After opening the website, you can enter “Saroma” in the search bar. And find the relevant race information. But since the registration for next year’s race has not opened yet, the website currently does not display the registration information for next year. Let’s take a look together. Here is the information for the 39th Lake Saroma 100-kilometer race this year. Through the registration page, we can see some basic information about the race. Including the date of the race, the registration period, etc. The registration period for this year is from February 12 to February 23, 2024. The registration period for next year is also expected to be around this time. So please keep an eye out for the relevant information. As for the registration fee, the fee for the 100-kilometer race is 19,000 yen. Plus an additional 1,100 yen for mailing. So the total is 20,100 yen. On this registration page, it also displays the number of participants from the last race. More than 3,800 people participated in total. It also lists the winning times of each category from last year’s competition. Additionally, on this page, you can find detailed information about the day of the race. Including things like the start time and transportation guide. Everyone can refer to this information when registering. Once successfully registered, the next step is to plan how to get to Lake Saroma. If you live in Japan, you can choose to drive or stay near the starting point. For overseas participants, I highly recommend using the travel agency packages provided by the event. You can find the official website of the event on this registration page. It contains more detailed race information and travel agency packages. About a month after registration is complete, the event will notify participants by email, with information about the travel agency packages. The travel agency offers several main package options. The first type includes round-trip airfare from several major cities in Japan to the competition venue, along with accommodation. The second type is a package that only includes accommodation at the competition site. The third type is a package that includes bus services from New Chitose Airport to the competition venue. The fourth type is a bus service on the day of the race, from the hotel to the starting point and back to the hotel from the finish line. You can choose the appropriate package based on your needs. This time, we selected a住宿 package that does not include airfare. Additionally, we chose the shuttle bus service from New Chitose Airport. For the number of nights, you can choose to stay for one, two, or three nights. You can decide based on your own schedule and choose the appropriate number of days. You can also choose whether to include hotel meals in your package. We recommend selecting a package that includes meals. Since the area around the competition venue is not very bustling, it might be more convenient and reasonable to have meals at the hotel. Once you have decided on the travel plan you wish to book, please note that each plan has a different application period. Make sure to apply within the time frame when applications are open. It’s important to apply during the period when applications are accepted. After selecting your preferred travel plan, pay attention to the fact that each plan has a different application deadline. Be sure to apply within the timeframe when applications are being accepted. The package provided by the travel agency does not differentiate between participants and supporting family members. Everyone can register. The only difference is after the application opens when filling out the application form, supporting family members need to additionally select a support bus. The rest of the content can be the same as the participants. If you wish to stay in the same room as the participant, you must include the name of the participant on the application form. Next, let’s talk about support on the day of the event. Before the event, along with the participant’s guide and other materials, the conference will also send these to the supporting family members. Regarding support materials, if you have booked the support bus, you will receive a bus voucher. There will also be information on the gathering spot for the support bus at the starting point on the event day. Additionally, there will be a timetable for the support bus on the event day. The event starts at 5:00. Supporting family members can watch the entire start process at the starting point. In about 10 minutes, all participants will have started. After that Supporters can head to the parking lot for the support buses. This is also the 4-kilometer mark of the 100-kilometer race. You can see the leading group from there. And some runners with a faster pace. The support buses will depart from the starting point at 6 a.m. All supporters need to board the buses at this time. To proceed to the next stop. The second support point is at the 42.195-kilometer mark. The estimated time from the starting point to the 42.195-kilometer support point is about 20 minutes. That means by 6:20, all the supporters should have reached the 42.195-kilometer support point. The support point at 42.195 kilometers, being a full marathon distance, participants will take a longer time to reach this point. The parking lot for the support buses serves as a rest stop. It has vending machines, chairs, and tables for resting. And there are restrooms available. So, everyone need not worry. From the parking lot of the support buses, walk to the seaside support point. It will take about 5 to 10 minutes. Everyone can decide the arrival time at the cheering point based on the runners’ pace. Choose when to reach the cheering station according to the runners’ speed. Since there is no shelter around the cheering point, it might be quite hot if it’s a sunny day. So, you can choose to wait a bit longer at the rest area in the parking lot of the support buses. From the cheering point at 42.195 kilometers, there are 4 buses heading to the cheering point at 56 kilometers. The departure times are 8:15, 9:00, 9:40, and 10:40. You can choose the corresponding departure time based on the runners’ pace. The travel time by bus between these two cheering points is about 20 minutes. Since this section of the bus route overlaps with the runners’ route, you can sit on the left side of the support bus. This way, you can see the participating runners along the way. The cheering point at 56 kilometers also has a small rest area. There are vending machines and food for sale. And there are restrooms available. No need to worry about these facilities. The fourth cheering point is at a hotel located approximately 75 kilometers into the route. The support bus I was on arrived at this hotel at 10:40. So I had my lunch at the hotel restaurant. The lunch was a bento box prepared by the travel agency. The last support point was at the finish line of the race. Why do I recommend choosing the support bus service provided by the agency? As you can see from previous videos, the race is held in a rather remote location. Public transportation is not well-developed. If you want to use public transport to go to different points to cheer for the runners, it’s not easy. The support bus provided by the travel agency is very punctual with its departure times. It strictly adheres to the given schedule. Secondly, I think the support points they arranged are also reasonable. Except for the support point at 42.195 kilometers, you need to walk 5-10 minutes from the bus parking lot to the support point. For the other support points, the bus and the support points are together. No walking is required. And every cheering point has facilities like vending machines and restrooms. So, everyone need not worry about the waiting time at each cheering point. During the race, participants can use the official tracking software provided. To track the runners’ positions in real-time. Open the app. Enter the name of the race you want to follow. Saromako. Find and follow the 39th Saromako Lake 100-kilometer race. Then, under the runner search, input the number of the runner you want to track, number 950. Add to tracking. After that, you can see the runner’s position on the map in real-time. And every time the runner passes a timing mat, you can see the time they recorded at that mat. At the finish line, there are many food stalls. So, after the race, runners can have a meal with their families here. After taking a short rest. You can take the bus back to the hotel where everyone is staying. There’s a return bus every hour. Alright, that’s all for the support of this time’s Lake Saroma 100km race. I’ll share with you up to this point. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below the video. So, as always, I wish everyone to strive and live well. Stay healthy and safe. See you next time.
