BIKE BANDIT BUSTED

A man has been arrested after forcibly stealing another person’s ebike in Point Cook this evening. The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Grassird Drive, where the offender allegedly took the ebike by force. A local witness who observed the robbery promptly contacted police. Before officers arrived, a couple of quick-thinking locals intercepted and apprehended the man on Middleton Drive, only a short distance away from the scene. Police arrived shortly after and placed the man in handcuffs before taking him into custody. He tried to pedal off with someone else’s ride, but Justice caught up fast.

🚲 He tried to ride off with someone else’s e-bike — but Point Cook locals weren’t having it. Witnesses raised the alarm, and a few quick-thinking residents tracked him down and held him until police arrived.

  1. INSTANT DEPORTATION! DEPORT! DEPORT! DEPORT! Why isn’t this on the mainstream ‘news’ everyday? Why are they hiding the truth about these people from the public?? 😡😡😡

  2. I think we should ban police from pursuing stolen E-bikes.
E-bikes can be insured so as long as the insurer is satisfied it was theft and not a case of fraud
then there is a pay out.
So.. By using state police to go after a E-bike
that is insured or should have been insured
those police are not pursuing illegal local drug criminals.
