Motorcycle Travel | Riding to the sand dunes and exploring Japanese towns | Motovlog
Good morning, today I’m riding through Tottori Prefecture. This area is rich in nature and cultural attractions. Let’s ride to Tottori Sand Dunes, the most famous tourist spot in Tottori. Tottori Sand Dunes is Japan’s largest sand dune, where you can ride camels, walk on the sand, and enjoy beautiful scenery. As we get closer to the dunes, the landscape turns sandy. I can smell the sea breeze. The dunes are just ahead. Turn left at the sign, and you’ll find the tourist spot. There are many museums, restaurants, and souvenir shops ahead. There’s plenty of parking, so you can park anywhere. I’ll park as close to the dunes as possible. We’ve arrived. The camels are still sleeping, so let’s walk towards the sea. There’s an oasis in the center of the dunes. If we climb this sandhill, the sea is right there. The slope is steep. Let’s take a walk along the sea. We’re back. It was over 30°C and very hot, so let’s cool down in a shop. Tottori specialty, pear soft-serve ice cream. Tottori is the top producer of pears in Japan. Tottori specialty? Sandshrew. We’ve enjoyed the dunes enough, so let’s head to the next tourist spot. The next destination is a town with historical scenery. You can get there quickly via the Tottori Highway. Here is Kurayoshi, a town with the atmosphere of the Edo period. Let’s park somewhere and take a walk around. We’ve arrived. I can hear thunder… As soon as we entered the town, it started raining heavily. We’ll take shelter from the rain in this building. The sun is coming out. Rainy towns have their own charm, but it’s better to walk around when it’s sunny. There are many buildings from the Edo period remaining in this area. It’s touching to think that people from the past were looking at the same scenery. Let’s have lunch around here. I ordered the tofu set meal. It’s refreshing to have tofu as the main dish since it doesn’t happen often. It was delicious. The tofu was good, and it’s a nice town. I’m leaving today as I am, but there are still some great sights to see in Tottori, so I hope to come back again. See you on the next journey. Goodbye.

what bike is this?
cool vid bro and nice scenery! do you think your rebel 250 is plenty enough for traveling or the 500 would be more appropriate power wise?
