Hello everyone. I’m Ruriko. I am staying at B&B SHIMAGO SURFRIDER AMAKUSA in Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture. I’m going to Nagasaki today. They are seeing me off. They are a delightful husband and wife team of owners. I don’t want to leave, but I’m leaving. Goodbye until we meet again. thank you very much. It was a nice guest house. My dream of living in a house like a guest house in the future grew. It’s a dream to be able to enjoy your hobbies in a nice home. If you come to Amakusa City, please visit B&B SHIMAGO SURFRIDER AMAKUSA. That is a recommended place. That’s what I’m aiming for today. I will go there. It looks beautiful. Today, the ferry to Nagasaki departs from the SHIMATETSU FERRY ONIIKE OFFICE in Amakusa City. I will go there. There is a ferry leaving once an hour throughout the day. You can easily take the ferry there. I arrived at the ferry terminal. With this, you don’t need to take your vehicle registration certificate with you. It’s a hassle to carry your vehicle registration certificate with you. 1,780 yen. I’m on the boat. I take a boat. I feel safe on a ferry that goes in the direction you are heading. I don’t want to have to deal with it on the ferry. It’s a short 30-minute voyage, but I find it relaxing. If you’re lucky, you may see dolphins swimming off the boat. I arrived in Nagasaki. After about a 30 minute voyage, we soon arrived at Nagasaki. The ship was stable and I didn’t get seasick. I arrived in Nagasaki. A famous place in Nagasaki is UNZEN. UNZEN is where HEISEI SHINZAN is located. I have been to the mountains in Nagasaki. There is a high chance that it will be cloudy on the summit today. I go to the seaside and then proceed into downtown Nagasaki. I am currently riding my bike along the coast. Although the clouds are hazy, the view of the ocean is pleasant. Smoke is rising in the city. This is a hot spring area. Is this OBAMA ONSEN? The atmosphere here is similar to ATAMI. This place has a lot of charm. I rode the bike for about an hour. Can you see the road in the middle of the ocean that stretches out before you? Doesn’t everybody see that? I’ll go there now. When I looked down from above earlier, I could see a road that continued into the sea. I am riding my bike on that road right now. This is the road called “ISAHAYA BAY RECLAMATION DIKE ROAD.” As you can see in this video, there is a dike on the right side. This place is shaped like a high mountain. While riding a motorbike here, you only get the feeling that you are riding in the middle of the ocean on one side. When you come here, you might get the feeling that you are traveling in the middle of the ocean. Here you can see the ocean on both sides for just a moment. The roads here are distinctive. This is a straight road that is 8.5 km long. This road was opened in 2007. Looking at the map, you can see that the road runs straight over the sea. I thought we could drive on the sea here like the Aqua-Line, but there was a seawall. I wanted to try riding a motorbike here so it was a good experience. There is an observation point halfway along this 8.5km road. I’m staying at this observation deck. Is that here? I could have just passed this place by. If I missed this stop I wouldn’t have been able to stop. I climbed to the top of this bridge and enjoyed the view from above. This is the halfway point of the bridge. This is amazing. This is the direction of UNZEN. This is the direction of Nagasaki. This is a straight road when viewed from above. I thought there were birds and seaweed there and looked closely. It was all fish. This is a place where birds can eat as much fish as they want. There are a ton of fish here. Is this a place where water comes out, so is there a lot of nutrients? This is an all-you-can-eat buffet for the birds. I came to ISAHAYA. I came to ISAHAYA because there is a place I want to go to. Is the parking lot on the right? I was relieved to see that the parking lot was flat. KUYAMATORI SHRINE. 2275-2 HISAYAMACHO, ISAHAYA CITY, NAGASAKI PREFECTURE. The chief priest spoke to me. That’s a cat. Is it okay if I record video? I came here looking forward to seeing the cats. This is cute. When I go on a long trip, I feel like I don’t have enough cats. I can’t move forward unless I get my energy from cats. I visit shrines. This is a shrine with a nice atmosphere. Since COVID-19, there are fewer shrines with CHOZUYA. I’m nervous. I say hello to God. I am greeting you at a longer pace than usual. What are you all saying to God? KUYAMATORI SHRINE is a shrine where GOKOKUIN can be made. I definitely wanted to go to KUYAMATORI SHRINE. The design of this stamp is cute. The moment you enter the grounds of this shrine, you will be welcomed by the chief priest. There are cats at this shrine, and they have comforted me. I’m going to make GOKOKUIN now. This is a GOKOKUIN with a cat pattern. This is cute. I arrived in SASEBO. I rode the bike for about an hour. I wanted to try the lemon steak, but I couldn’t make it in time for opening hours. The opening hours there are divided into day and evening hours. I arrived at SASEBO during the restaurant’s closing time. I wanted to eat lemon steak. I can’t eat lemon steak at SASEBO. I ate one ONIGIRI and came to SASEBO. I am feeling sleepy. I almost fell asleep while standing at the traffic light. It’s early now, but I’m heading to the hotel for today. Are you building a ferry there? Is the ferry under repair? That’s very big. It’s a luxury cruise liner. This is the first time I’ve seen a ferry here. I’m looking forward to traveling on a luxury cruise ship in my retirement. When it comes to hotels in Sasebo, Nagasaki, CURRY HOUSE NISHIKAZE is the one. There will be a SASEBO RIDE rally tomorrow. I came here for the RIDE rally. I came to meet the organizer, ZEFU. The weather won’t be good tomorrow, so is today the only day we can see the beautiful scenery? I continue climbing the hill with momentum. I’m afraid of my bike stopping halfway up a hill. I arrived at my destination safely. The view from CURRY HOUSE NISHIKAZE is amazing. I met a cat. I’m glad this cat is so sweet to me. I had a BBQ with everyone that night. This is a very large SALMON. The video doesn’t really convey the size, but it’s about the size of three palms of my hand. I went to the RIDE rally the next day. There were a lot of riders here. The talk show and the ROCK, PAPER and SCISSORS TOURNAMENT were a great success. Although it was raining, I took a group photo. By the time the RIDE rally ended, it was raining heavily. I was happy to see so many riders. When I got back to CURRY HOUSE NISHIKAZE, I treated myself to some curry. The RIDE rally was covered by TV, so I attended a viewing party that evening. ZEFU is embarrassed. I was embarrassed to see myself on screen. I get in ZEFU’s car and go to dinner. I requested ZEFU, “I want to eat lemon steak.” I had the lemon steak. This lemon has already been peeled, so you can eat it as is. The lemon steak was delicious. It was mid-November at the time, so there were Christmas lights all over town. I hated the rain, but the way the lights reflected off the wet road was beautiful. good morning. Today is the morning of the last day of our trip. I ride ZEFU’s CROSS CUB, HUNTER CUB or SUPER CUB. This is CROSS CUB. I go to far away places. I’ll park hayabusa here. I’m going with RYOTA, who stayed at the same hotel yesterday. Can I ride the CROSS CUB? Best regards, CROSS CUB. Rotaries are difficult to get used to. I’m leaving. This is scary. If you don’t know the gears of the bike yourself, engine braking can be scary. The CROSS CUB is fun once you get used to driving it. This is relaxing. This CROSS CUB has a shift indicator, which is helpful. Why am I riding ZEFU’s CROSS CUB? I wasn’t confident that I could get to where I was going on the hayabusa. I talked to ZEFU and told him I wanted to go to that place. ZEFU said to me, “I’ll lend you my CROSS CUB.” I’m heading to my destination in ZEFU’s cute yellow CROSS CUB. The person riding behind me is RYOTA, a traveler from Osaka who had come to help out at the RIDE rally. Since his destination was the same as mine, I would go with him. I didn’t know if I could drive a CROSS CUB. He watches over me as we head towards our destination. During my travels I have come to realise that small displacement engines are the best. The hayabusa can go to many different places, but I feel uneasy on narrow roads, gravel roads, and slopes. There are many places where the hayabusa has to give up moving forward. Lately I’ve been feeling that a 125cc engine displacement suits me. It can be done without any worries. 2nd speed. 3rd speed. I will soon arrive at my destination. This road can be nerve-wracking for a hayabusa. Originally there was an easy way. I wasn’t sure if that path was a good one to take, so I chose the more difficult one. I’m glad I came this way on the CROSS CUB. I have arrived at my destination. I have arrived at my destination. I’m glad I didn’t come here on the hayabusa. I’m glad I climbed the approach to the shrine. I wondered whether it was okay to ride my motorcycle along the approach to the shrine. I have arrived at my destination. IIMORI SHRINE. 2343 AINOURACHO, SASEBO CITY, NAGASAKI PREFECTURE. This is impressive. I came to IIMORI SHRINE to make GOKOKUIN. This background music will get you in the New Year mood. I successfully engraved it on GOKOKUIN. I have completed my second GOKOKUIN. On my way back, I take the approach to the shrine. Even a hayabusa can pass through this road. I’m parting ways with RYOTA here. Thank you. Have a nice trip. I achieved my goal. IIMORI SHRINE. I return to CURRY HOUSE NISHIKAZE to pick up my beloved hayabusa. I am leaving CURRY HOUSE NISHIKAZE. I’m leaving. I’m in good hands. Goodbye. The hayabusa is big. The hayabusa has a lot of power. When I drive this hayabusa, I am careful not to mistake it for a rotary shift. This is about 30 minutes from CURRY HOUSE NISHIKAZE. The price of gasoline is cheap. I’ll get gas here later. There was a riders cafe that I wanted to go to on the day I arrived in SASEBO, but I was worried about parking so I gave up. I had the opportunity to talk to the owner at a RIDE rally. I told the owner, “I wasn’t sure if there would be a parking space, so I couldn’t go.” The owner told me, “There is also a parking lot underneath.” I am willing to go there. Is that the place underneath here? Can I park my bike here? I will ask about that. RIDERS CAFE COLLE GARE. 2563-1 EGAMICHO, SASEBO CITY, NAGASAKI PREFECTURE. This is a stylish and spacious store. The open view is lovely. This Riders Cafe is particular about their coffee. He is the owner, COFFEE RIDER. I ordered a Nagasaki mandarin orange frappe. This looks great on film. This has a refreshing taste and is delicious. The nutrients permeated my body. I draw bad pictures in my notebook. People who are good at drawing are wonderful. The owner, who is in charge of cooking, has the day off today, so he’s going on a tour. The owner, who is also in charge of cooking, was in the shop and showed me his new bike. This bike is beautiful and big. I got on this bike and my feet never touched the ground. I really liked HARUKA’s book “ONNA HITORI, INDIA NO HIMALAYAS DE NI NORU.” I’m hungry so I’ll eat some cheesecake. This cheesecake is soft. COFFEE RIDER is the same age as me, so I talked the whole time. Please enjoy this cheesecake made with love. I stayed at RIDERS CAFE COLLE GARE for four hours. sorry. RIDERS CAFE COLLE GARE was a cozy place. thank you very much. Goodbye. I stayed at RIDERS CAFE COLLE GARE for 4 hours because it was so cozy. I was there too long. I wasn’t feeling well today so it was nice to be able to relax. I only ordered drinks today. I thought the cake made by COFFEE RIDER was delicious. I like to go to RIDERS CAFE COLLE GARE for meals. When I come to SASEBO, there are more people I want to meet. I plan to return on the ferry in the evening, so I head towards Fukuoka. I continued driving for about 2 hours and 30 minutes and am now heading to the SHINMOJI PORT ferry terminal. This was a long trip of about three weeks. I was going to travel another week but will be heading back. This time I was on a wandering journey trying to piece together work. During this trip, there were some places where I couldn’t move around as I wanted due to the weather. The weather improved during the second half of my trip, and I was able to enjoy a nice bike ride. This is the underlying theme of my trip this time. The theme of my trip this time was to meet people I wanted to meet. I was glad that I was able to meet and greet a variety of people. As we enter winter, today is the last long trip of the season. I always try to act in a way that I will have no regrets. I was able to go to almost every place I wanted to go in Japan. The place I have the most regrets about is a remote island. I couldn’t go to RISHIRI. I tell myself, “It’s better to leave your homework behind.” I hope to go on a trip someday. I’m on the boat. Goodbye, Kyushu. Goodbye until I can come here again. thank you. I have seen many sights so far. I have met many people so far. I rode my bike on a variety of roads. I was blown by many different winds. I laughed a lot and cried a little. None of these experiences would have been possible if I hadn’t ridden a motorcycle. When I first started my long journeys, I enjoyed riding my motorbike to places I’d never been before. Before I knew it, it had become a journey to meet the people I wanted to meet. It’s all thanks to everyone who has always been so kind and welcoming. I’m expecting a baby so I’m taking a break from riding my bike. I’m taking a break from long journeys until 20 years from now. I feel like the time I spent traveling by motorcycle will support me in the future. Thank you to all the people and scenery I’ve encountered. I never get off my bike. From now on, I will enjoy riding my bike to make up for the time I’ve spent rushing through life. Thank you to everyone who always supports me. We look forward to your continued support.
