Finally My Motorcycle has arrived in Tokyo 🇯🇵 S8 EP 100 | Pakistan to Japan Motorcycle Tour

It’s almost 8:45 in the morning I have to go to Tokyo city today. Because Rangeeli’s inspection has finally begun at the port. I received an email from them. I will sort out the luggage with it today. Which things you have brought. So I said, let me also come there and see your process. As it has already taken so much time. So I will let you know at the same time. So I have to go to Tokyo port from here. It’s a 40 km ride, but it will take about 2 hours. I will keep you updated about the process. So let’s leave from here and take you to Tokyo port. Let’s see how the process goes. Let’s just pray that Rangeeli’s clearance process gets over soon. (prayer for journey) May I have a safe and blessed day ahead. There is not much distance in Tokyo, but it takes a lot of time. If you go on the highway, there are a lot of blockages. And if you go from inside the city, there are signals everywhere. Anyway, let’s hope that I reach there without any issues. The fun in Japan was ruined by the motorcycle. But what can be done. Especially when you are traveling by road, border crossings are a big issue. When it comes to shipping, there are issues as well. I think they are taking the kids for an outing. All of them are wearing the same hats. They are in a queue. One of the teachers is at the front, one on the side and one at the back. There are two of them. The rules here are taught to the kids from the very beginning. I have been trying for a long time to get permission to record an elementary school in Japan. So that I can show you the daily life of the kids. But I haven’t been able to get permission yet. To me, it seemed like an interesting content. To show you the daily life of kids in the school. If any of you can help me with that, do let me know. A lot of people have tried. But I think it’s a little tough in Japan to get permission. You have to get permission from an authority. It took me more than 2 hours to reach here. That too on a motorcycle. It was only 38 km. There was a lot of traffic. Now I have reached the port. Can you see Rangeeli here? Let’s call him. Here is Rangeeli. This is how a crate was made. It was packed and shipped here. The space next to it was used. You can see the luggage pieces here. They were opened one by one. Even they have mentioned a piece of paper inside. Look at this. He has opened my sleeping bag. and photographed it. Write something on it. He is packing it now. These are two small bags. They might have tools inside. Maybe a water bottle. That’s the sleeping bag. I have double covered it with a waterproof cover. He is mentioning the cover as well. Every piece counts. This is the sleeping bag. There is a blue one. He has counted that one. He has noted the white one as well. He has mentioned the red one as well. All my clothes were inside this. There was a tent inside. And mattress. There was a jacket and a trouser inside. All my luggage was inside this. There was a helmet as well. I had removed it’s windshield. So that it doesn’t break. He is unable to pack the sleeping bag. Because sleeping bags are not packed like this. You just put it inside. Let me help him. You cannot pack it. I knew he won’t be able to do it. It is a thick winter sleeping bag. He has opened the tool box. He will take a picture. He will mention everything one by one. Let’s see. He has taken out the puncture kit. He will take a picture of everything. He will pack everything exactly as it was before. He is checking how to do it. I think he forgot to mention the tape. Now he saw the double sided tape. If you want to attach something, you can use a double sided tape. Now you can see that he is taking out everything. He will take a picture of everything. One second. Photograph the Pakistani flag as well. He should at least take a picture with the flag. He might ask later that what is this. As you know, I had shipped my motorcycle earlier from Dubai to Kerala, Kochi, India by sea. When I reached Lahore, I took it to Kenya by air. I took it out of Cape Town to Lahore by air. When I got it shipped to India, the agent in Dubai told me to unload all the luggage. Because there could be some delays due to luggage in India. So I unloaded all the luggage. When I reached India, my motorcycle was cleared within a few hours. But when I sent it from Lahore to Kenya and brought it from South Africa, all the luggage was on the motorcycle and there was no issue. There was no issue because of the luggage. There were some issues in Lahore, but for another reason. This time when I was in Thailand, I personally do not know about these rules, nor am I an expert in this. So, normally all the travelers take help from shipping agents. Similarly, the shipping agent I hired in Thailand, he cleared my customs there. And before he sent the motorcycle from there, the shipping agent from a company called Sanyo Logistics was in contact with him. He sent him all the details. I don’t know if there has been any miscommunication or he did not inform him properly. That you should unload all the luggage to avoid any issue. He made a package of all the luggage on the motorcycle and sent it here. When I reached here, Sanyo Logistics told me that we need all the details of the luggage on this motorcycle. I said, I don’t have an option. So, this process took two and a half to three weeks. Otherwise, if this luggage was not there, the motorcycle would have been cleared within a day or two. Anyways, he sent it from there to this warehouse. Because there are such customs warehouses where you can send and take the motorcycle out of the port, but the customs are cleared here. So today he has written all these things, tomorrow he will do the import declaration. Then the customs will clear a day after tomorrow. Let’s see what happens. The luggage that I have checked today, he has brought it to the warehouse. They have kept the luggage here in the warehouse. The person who has done all the sorting, he has charged me a total fee of 1,15,000 yen. This is about 2.25 lakhs in Pakistani currency. If you convert it into dollars, it is about 800 dollars. Before this, I have paid him 60 or 65 thousand yen. Which is like 400 dollars. That was the cost of the customs clearance. So, it’s very expensive. To be honest, I didn’t know that Japan is so strict. A lot of people who import and export from here, they know everything. Similarly, the agent here also knew all these details. So his job was to inform the agent over there that there should be nothing else on the motorcycle. So that I could unload all the luggage. The one who ships ultimately just suffers. The agents keep themselves safe from both the ends. Yes, they say that they are really sorry, we should have told you earlier. But they don’t say that we are sorry, we made a mistake. So we will bear all the expenses. In fact, they say that this is your motorcycle, you should pay for it. I will tell you the rest of the story after customs clearance. For now, let’s leave from here and go to a 7-Eleven. Let’s eat something from there. And then I will decide to explore some good location. I have Arif’s motorcycle with me. My motorcycle reached here on 27th or 28th April. And today is 20th May. Still no clearance. Let’s park it here on the side. Honestly, you can’t say anything about the weather in Japan. Yesterday it was very cold. Today it’s sunny and hot. So I thought let’s sit inside and eat something. We got some water. If you come to Japan, and you didn’t eat this, which is called Onigiri, then your Japan tour is incomplete. I think all the tourists who come here must have tried this. You can say that this is Japan’s fast food. You will get this from almost every family mart, 7-Eleven, Lawson, everywhere. And this is the go-to food. If you are going somewhere and you feel hungry. Then, this is very cheap. You can get this for 140-150 Yen. This is also good for health. Easily available everywhere. But when I made the train video, I didn’t open it properly. Then I met some Pakistani Japanese family here. They told me that the way I ate Onigiri, made them feel sad. Because I removed the seaweed while opening the packing. Now I will show you how to open it properly. You can see here, it is written 1. First, you have to open it. And then, here it is written 2. And here it is written 3. You have to open it like this. This is the proper way to open it. Let’s see if we are successful today. We have opened 1. That’s number 2. Now we can eat it easily. This is with tuna and mayonnaise. I really like its taste. Now we are going to Kamakura. The day I went for the hair cut, you must have seen that I forgot my car keys. And because of that, we couldn’t see Kamakura. Today we had time. Rather than staying stuck in Tokyo traffic, it is better to pay Kamakura a visit. Now we have entered Kamakura. No matter which city you visit, parking is the main problem. I discussed this with Arif. Asked him to find me a parking near the city. So he has shared some information about a parking lot. I will park my motorcycle there. So that I can explore the city by walking around. Look at that. We saw such carriages in Asakusa in Tokyo as well. When we came here the other day, there was no one here in the evening. And now look at this. We were in this very street. Let’s put it under lock here. Just like the ones next to us. Just like that? No, no. They have put it like this. You have to put it inside. Now it’s done. We took a short train of 10 minutes. We are very close to the temple now. It’s good that we still have time to enter the temple. But the timing is very short. They start closing at 4.30 to 4:45 pm. There are a lot of tourists here. Let’s see how our experience goes. We have taken the ticket. It costs us 300 yen or around $2. As soon as you enter the temple, there is a small area in front of you, where water is flowing through this bamboo. I think the Buddhists here do some sort of ablutions. Just like Muslims wash before going to a mosque. I think it’s a similar tradition. And here you can see the Great Buddha of Kamakura. Made of bronze, it weighs around 120 tons. The height is 13.35 meters. It was built in the 13th century. There used to be a wooden building around it. But because of typhoons and tsunamis, it has fallen down many times. After that, they decided not to build anything here. That’s why now you see the Buddha in the open air. You can see that because of wind and erosion, the statue has partially turned black. But the expression of the Buddha is very peaceful and calm. When you stand here, you get an idea of how massive the Buddha is. This temple is called Kotoku-in Temple. This is one of the most important temples and statues in Japan. Now we will try to ride along the coastline. There is an island nearby called Inoshima. Let’s go there. From the map you can see that the sea is right ahead. We are not too far from it. But I think there is traffic. Navigation is showing 24 minutes for 7 kilometers. This is a traditional Japanese-style gate. It is usually seen near shrines and temples. They have placed it in the center. This Tokyo area is an ideal location. On one side, there’s Mount Fuji. On the other side is Nagoya. If you come this way, you will find the sea. It’s a beautiful area. The houses are well built. But since Japan is notorious for Tsunamis, people like me will be scared to live near the sea. People in the rest of the world prefer it. I don’t know about Japan. The island in front of you is Inoshima island. I feel like going there. It’s a great road to ride if there isn’t much traffic. It’s not even the weekend yet. Just imagine the traffic over the weekend then. Especially of those who come here for surfing. Inoshima is famous among tourists. People who come here for a day trip, first visit Kamakura and then Inoshima. This is the main market of Inoshima. The monastery is at the top. You can call it a tourist path. You walk from here to the top. Then come down here to enjoy the sunset in Inoshima. And then take a train back to Tokyo. Let’s walk to the monastery and show you the area. This is the gate of the market and the monastery. It’s a small market but it gives off very historic vibes. Apparently 70% of the market is closed now. But the food places are still open. You can see the shrine gate in front of you. Almost everywhere, you see the gates in red color. Red is a symbol of protection in Japanese culture. It casts the evil spirits away. As per my experience, I have mostly seen red. This is the Inoshima shrine behind me. It has a beautiful location. You can see the view from the top. From the top, that’s the Inoshima view you get. It’s a beautiful view. I am back in Machida. We’ve got some Japanese and Pakistani people here to meet us. You’re Hamza? Yeah. Hamza. Daiki? Daiki. My Japanese name is Musa and my original name is Ahmed. Your Japanese name is Musa. I am from Amrez. Thank you so much for coming. I have been waiting here for two days. As soon as my motorcycle and luggage get cleared, I’d share the good news with you all. Unfortunately, I have received an email from the agent. Even after having spent two weeks in the processing, and spending 150,000 yen, to sort all our stuff for customs declaration. The customs still gave us an appointment three days from now. Then all the items will be inspected. Then the clearance will be made. I personally told my agent from the beginning. To request the customs to fully inspect all the luggage. I will pay all the customs duties as needed. This will save my time. But I personally think, from my experience here, that the Japanese people are very friendly. If you meet them on the way, and ask them for directions. They will go with you all the way. Whether he has time or not. But if you have any problem or need help. Most likely no one will help you. No one will try to speed up your work or expedite the process. They will follow what they are told. They don’t care about the time consumed or expenditure. Those of you living here can give us a better idea. You can write your experience in the comment section. I think many people will get insight from this. When I’ll get some update from customs, in three days, I’ll then share the whole picture with you in a video. Please pray for me because I’m sort of irritated now. It has already been a month. Nothing is going as planned. The motorcycle is already here. So I don’t have an option. If it were still in some other country, I would have given up on the idea by now. So many lessons to learn as a traveler. I always try and share my experiences with you. Do remember me in your prayers. Don’t forget to hit Like, Subscribe and Share. See you in the next one. 2. I cant believe Season 8 had 100 episodes… This should be Season 10 already.
Also, I'm happy for you that Rangeeli has finally arrived in Japan. Hope to see more adventures with you & Rangeeli.
    Thanks Abrar. Allah hafiz 😎🙏⛩🎌

  3. Surprising, just like christians in west make pictures of Jesus Hazrat Isa, peace be upon, with the skin colour and facial features either black or caucasian white based on their ethic background, in the same way, the Japanese buddhist make the picture or statue of buhdda look like Japenese facial and bodily features. Same belief system jut another place.

  4. Abrar Bhai, it's a bit surprising but very practical — transporting a bike from one country to another often ends up being more expensive than just buying a bike locally in the country you're visiting. Many travelers nowadays follow this smarter approach: they purchase a used bike at their destination, use it for their trip, and then sell it before they leave. This way, they avoid heavy shipping costs, customs duties, and paperwork. In most cases, the loss on resale is far less than the cost of international transport. It's not only cost-effective but also more convenient and time-saving. الْـحَـمْـدُ للهِ, these kinds of smart strategies make travel smoother and more affordable.

  5. I am your big fan living in Japan.
As a Japanese, I am very sorry that you are now in a difficult situation and that the customs officials are not responding well.
I would like to help you in some way, but all I can do is ask the customs warehouse in Tokyo to solve the problem as soon as possible.
I will also look into ways to solve it.
