I think that’s true, I’ve never seen anything like it before. It looks like a Chinatown or a temple inspired by Japanese people, but it’s a little different. Then you go through security again and then you go inside. There are no people inside the temple. It’s spacious like this, and the entry is quite low. No matter how you look at it, it feels like a Chinese temple with Japanese musicians playing, but it’s a strange place because it’s a temple in a slum. The receptionist was also from Igor, not from that ethnic group. To be more specific, the colors do seem to be a bit Igor-like, and the decorations are quite detailed. I’m walking down a street full of shops, which is where the new Protestant culture is, and I’m thinking of having lunch there. There’s a mosque in a quiet place in the city, but it’s surrounded and we can’t get in. It feels like this is reality. There are lots of amazing food stalls, and this is the building here. However, it seems to be being shipped by sea. I’m really not blessed. There used to be lots of shops here, like a bazaar in front of here, but it’s closed now . It’s really amazing, isn’t it? I walked around here but as I said, we can’t go in so we can only see the exterior. This is the outside of the New Church. It really does feel like, how can I put it , that the places and culture that the Uighur people cherished are slowly being erased. Yes, why couldn’t I go inside? Right now there are a lot of food stalls here and they have a traditional Uighur dish called laghman, which is noodles. We decided to eat it together for lunch and then we started eating . It smells so good, there are a lot of food stalls around here as well. There’s the smell of roasting laghman and they’re making pilaf. It looks like it would be good to eat here . We’re eating laghman and they also have that bread. So we’ll eat at this local restaurant, which looks really delicious. The price is 22 yuan for the laghman with toppings and 25 yuan for the pilaf. It’s really crowded, and I don’t really know what kind of store it is, but it sells dolls and miscellaneous goods, or something like that. It’s a store that sells character goods, and it seems to be very popular, but I had no idea about it. You could probably make a profit by reselling it. It ‘s amazing, you could sell things like this to an e-book store, and have a shop like this. It’s really beautiful that there’s a shopping mall , it looks like Bangkok, and there’s also a Tesla. America is currently on the offensive with the Uyghur issue, but they have a Tesla. There’s quite a bit of Japanese food, it was about 3 yuan now, they have wagyu beef yakiniku and it’s amazing, this is yakiniku too, Marutaya is Japanese, well it’s not run by Japanese people, but it’s a Japanese-style yakiniku restaurant that’s full. This restaurant is amazing, so we went into a Japanese restaurant. Finally, it’s very unlikely that we’ll be able to eat Japanese food in the future, so we decided to eat something, so we went in. There were two of us, and we’re drinking Sangaria’s Grey Plum Ramune. Sorry, we’re just eating a bit of sushi, but I think the quality is pretty amazing. It was something like 78 yuan for 5 rolls. As expected , Japanese people have heard a lot about Uyghur in the media, and I think that’s a real problem. Before I came here for the first time, I was very anxious and, to be honest, I was scared, but after staying there, I noticed that the police surveillance was stronger than in other Chinese cities. But I was able to act quite freely, and although I’ve been to many cities in China, I didn’t think it was that different. As for the atmosphere, compared to other cities, of course there are more security checks and a lot of police officers and things like that, but to be honest, I didn’t really get that kind of tense feeling in the city this time. Well, it’s a city with an Islamic culture, so the atmosphere is definitely different from other Chinese cities. The faces are also completely different, and there are more people speaking Uighur than I expected. In most places it’s Chinese only, and even when you go to Korean places , you’ll mostly find people speaking Chinese. That’s the same when I go to Mongolia, but here it’s really different. In terms of percentage, the official ethnic group speaks Chinese, and I think there are probably more Uighurs in that town, but there were a lot of people speaking Uighur and their faces looked just like those Turkish people, so it was almost as if I was in China. I thought it might be difficult to speak in that area unless you choose your words carefully, so I was quite careful, but I thought it was at a level where you could travel normally. I was allowed into the mosque today and there are lots of shops and I wonder why I I thought that the situation in Uyghur that I heard about in Japan, of course there are dark sides to it, but if you just talk about the state of the city, it was like this. It wasn’t originally from China, it was a country called Uyghur, or something like that, and there are many difficult issues, but honestly, that’s my impression, and as I’ve said many times, it was more normal than I thought. I’m sure there are all kinds of opinions, but if you put all that aside, I think it’s a place that Japanese people can normally enjoy if they come to travel. I think China is currently relaxing its regulations regarding Uyghur and trying to invite foreigners. I didn’t take any video, but in the city, the luxury hotel Ritz Carlton was under construction, and other hotels were also being built, and commercial facilities were also being built, and they are trying to expand the subway, and it seems that the people are quite busy, so it didn’t really look like they were being oppressed and losing their jobs. I don’t know about the dark side, but I got the impression that there are some wealthy Uighurs out there. This time, I delivered my stay in Uighur country in this way, but it is still mainly Uighur, it is quite a large city with many different types of people.
