【新疆ウイグル自治区】これがメディアが伝えない本当のウルムチの現在の様子と真実です
This time, we will be talking about going to the New Uighur Self-Reliance Area in China. The New Uighur Self-Reliance Area is an area where the Uighur people, one of China’s ethnic minorities, have lived since ancient times. It is a very vast area of about 1.66 million km, accounting for about 1/6 of China’s land area and the largest self-reliance area in China, with a population of about 25 million. The central city of the area is Umm. Most of the population is Muslim and speaks Uighur. There are close ethnic ties with Turkey, and the Uighur language is very close to that of Turkey. The New Uighur People’s Self-Reliance Area also shares borders with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. When you hear about the New Uighur Self-Reliance Area in Japan, do you have a negative image of it? Perhaps you have an impression that it is a dark area where the Chinese government has oppressed and abused the Uighur people, engaged in ethnic intermarriage, and engaged in human trafficking, and that it is a place where even foreigners are detained and never come back if they enter the area unnecessarily. There is a strong negative image of it, such as strict regulations, no freedom, and it is not a place to travel. And do you even avoid even mentioning the topic ? There are areas in the area where foreigners cannot enter and areas where you cannot enter without issuing a passport. On my channel, it is important to see and experience things with my own eyes and convey the truth as it is, rather than relying on rumors and information from others that are overflowing in the world. This time, you will be watching a video about my stay in Urumqi, the largest city in the Protestant Uyghur Autonomous Region. I think that Japanese people will also be very interested in this content, so please watch until the end. The doors are closing. By train Please use the Tokyo Monorail. Thank you for watching. This time, I will be using Air China from Haneda Airport and transferring in Beijing to Urumqi. I plan to upload a video of this trip as a separate video. It’s been quite a while since I last visited Haneda Airport Terminal 3. It’s an Airbus 330 , isn’t it? It looks a bit worn out, Dad . Oh, you’ll get wet. I wish the bus would come right up to the last minute. China is generally like this, isn’t it? Well, we have arrived at Uishan International Airport. This airport’s new terminal just opened on April 17th of this year, and it is incredibly beautiful. So I entered Urumqi International Airport for the first time in my life, the new Eagle Airport. The airport is really beautiful. I will use it again later, but there is a Burger King and so on. I haven’t received my luggage yet, but I had some tea, so I thought I would buy a drink since I am here. As for sales, there is a subway, isn’t there? I didn’t think there was one. It is connected directly to the airport. The subway is good, it has developed quite a bit. By the way, this time, I usually travel alone, including when traveling, but this time for Uyghur , I will travel with someone I know who can speak Chinese and English, and who has actually been to Urumqi. Thank you everyone for watching. Today is May 9th, 2025, and I am currently in Urum, Xinjing Uyghur region, China. Yes, so , this is a bit sudden, but I just arrived in the new Uyghur Airport from Japan via Beijing. I have just checked into a hotel in the center of Uyghur. I am currently filming. I’ve just roughly explained the process of getting here, but it took quite a while to get here from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport via Beijing, and that ‘s a bit off-topic, but I’ll be delivering that in a separate video. This time it’s my stay in Umchi, so I’d like to deliver that in just one video, so I’d like you to take a look at that content today. As I explained at the start, I would like to refrain from digging into new territory here, and I’m sure you all have different thoughts about the various information you receive from the Japanese media, including the Internet, and recently I ‘ve been particularly active in local cities and various places in China outside of Beijing and Shanghai, and I ‘ve always wanted to come to Uyghur someday, and I’ve also received quite a lot of requests from viewers to do so. To be honest, I’ve been told to go to Uyghur, and so I’ve come to Uyghur this time because I really wanted to. In fact, I think there is a lot of negative information about Uyghur from the Japanese people’s perspective, and there are many dark sides to it. I think that Urumqi is a city where there are parts that they don’t want to show, but I would like to see what the city is actually like from my perspective. In this video, I will be showing you my two days in Urumqi . It’s already 4:40pm today, so it’s 5pm, but I would like to summarize my expectations and give you a summary of what I expect. I will be going to the bazaar in the center of the city and going out to eat, and usually I travel alone to China, but this time I’ve been traveling with a person I know , and we’ll be staying together in Urumqi. He may appear in the video a little, but he can speak Chinese, Japanese, and English, and is mostly Japanese, but he also has Chinese nationality and has been to Uyghur, so he is a person I am very grateful for. I will go out to eat with him, and I’m thinking of just wandering around, so I’m feeling encouraged this time. Well, this is a series on China’s ethnic minority areas, and I’ve been to a lot of different places so far, including the Koreans, the Tumens, the Huangwangs, and the Mongolians, but this time it’s a Uighur town, and the Uighurs are Muslims, so I’ve actually already seen a bit of the town, and rather than being very Chinese, it has a completely Middle Eastern feel, with an Islamic smell and atmosphere, and the food and culture are completely different, so I thought I’d experience that as well. When you hear Islam and Uighur, you probably imagine a lot of things, but I’d like to see a bit of a gap. Well, I’m going to go out now, so I’ll get moving right away. I’ve just left the hotel, and there’s a bazaar near the hotel, so I’ll go there and wander around for a bit and have dinner. 宮城県の北端から南端まで、東北本線・陸羽東線を乗り 継いで 旅をしてきました。 English: I ‘m thinking of going to eat there sometime. The atmosphere is completely different to China , and the smell is too. Yes, I’m wearing a mask right now, but I’m not sure if it’s okay to show this, but the faces of Uyghur people are completely different. There are a lot of people with completely Turkish features. Also, directly connected to the hotel where I’m staying is Wonder Plaza, a huge shopping mall that is found all over China, and inside you can basically find everything. It’s so similar to the Chinese cities that you almost forget you’re in Ulm, there’s Muji, Uniqlo, and everything. There are also the usual soft serve ice cream shops, and there are shops selling pianos, not motorbikes, but musical instruments. This is a nice place too, it says here, and it’s quite peaceful, but there are police and such. Right in front of the hotel is this night market I’m currently preparing, but there are actually a lot of shops, and this is a shop where Uighur people eat roast lamb as a base. I’m thinking about eating lamb at that restaurant later, but I won’t be eating here. Yes, it has a really simple atmosphere like a night market, and they have everything . They sell things like shufu and of course there’s these skewers, which look delicious and are huge, and there’s one piece of meat, but I think I’ll eat the other things around here later. Anyway, I’m going to go to the bazaar on my Gear app now. I’ve got a Gear car, so I’ll get in and go to the bar. The streetscape is really unique, and there are a lot of people walking around who don’t look like us Asians at all, so it’s easy to get confused. Most of the language is Chinese , but there are actually a surprising number of shops , and it’s quite developed, it’s a normal big city. Also, as for Uighur, it’s currently set to China time, so there’s a one-hour time difference with Japan , but it feels quite different from Pakistan. It’s in Kyrgyzstan and the surrounding countries have a four hour time difference with Japan, so effectively there’s a four hour time difference. It’s just after 6pm now and it ‘s still light out. At this time of year the sun probably doesn’t set until after 10pm. Well, it’s one hour aligned with China’s time, so you might feel a bit out of place. Now we’ve come to the center of town. There are a lot of police and cars driving around, but this is the subway station and from here you enter the bazaar and you have to go through security there. There are a lot of police around here too, but So, there isn’t any tension right now . It feels like there are a lot of tourists. Yes, this is where you enter from. This is the Grand Bazaar. This is the entrance to the bazaar, and people often take photos when they come to Uyghur. There are people doing koan training in front and behind this, and there are a lot of them there now. Yes, there is a strict security check to go inside, so I will go through it now. I have just gone through security and entered. Immediately after entering, there are these Raku objects and it really has a Middle Eastern feel to it. It is something you don’t feel at all in other Chinese cities. There are quite a few young girls as well. Is it something like this? I was inside. Well, it’s a normal thing, and inside this is a bazaar, and just looking at it from here you can really tell it’s a foreign country, it’s really exciting , it really does feel like when I go to a Middle Eastern country, there’s all these dried fruits and all these unique cheeses, it’s amazing, if you just look at this scene it really doesn’t feel like China, yes, compared to Arab people they aren’t as pushy, as I was just talking to them, they do talk to you quite a bit, but if they realize you’re not going to buy anything they back off, so I get the impression that they aren’t pushy, it’s amazing But everywhere they sell the same things. I guess they thought I was Korean because they spoke to me in Korean. They sell a lot of things I’ve never seen before. The insects are amazing. There are a lot of local specialties like vines and star martial arts, so there are a lot of them. I don’t really know about dried fruits around here, they’re like mysterious miscellaneous goods. That ‘s the same over here. It’s quite spacious. There are a lot of ethnic items too. Uyghur is famous for its specialties like raisins and star martial arts, and melons too. I can’t eat melons, but there are a lot of melons and watermelons too. Yes, it’s really beautiful. It’s a little bit like the one in the bottom right. There are police officers keeping watch, we’re getting a little closer and there’s a huge crowd gathered in the middle, and they’re doing something like a big show, but there’s a man keeping watch over the police station over there, so I’ll go a little to the side and pick it up, and right now there’s a police officer next to me watching closely, and we’re also thinking of trying some food, and a specialty of Uyghur is yogurt, there’s lots of yogurt products on sale and cheese and other things look delicious, I wonder if they make it with that? Yes, yes , yes, yes, and one of the specialties of Uyghur is pomegranate, and they make fresh squeezed pomegranate juice for you, So I’m going to order some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice for two people. They have it in Bangkok too, and it looks delicious. I asked them to put it in a bottle and it’s cold here. This is freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. It looks really delicious. So I’ll have some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. There’s a policeman behind me. Oh, it has a really strong smell, it’s delicious. It looks good, it seems good for your health, it’s great. It’s a weekday, but it’s about 6:25pm now, so maybe it’s a little early for dinner. There are quite a lot of people here, I think there are a lot of tourists. With this background, you can see this kind of thing wherever you go, but I’ll go with you now. The person operating the station can speak Chinese, English and Japanese fluently, but I really can’t understand what they’re saying in Uighur, and this is a broadcast in Uighur. I think it’s a restaurant in Anas, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is completely different. Now, the police are in a moving vehicle near the station and they’re completely guarding the place, so I’ll just pass by there. There’s a gourmet street next to the bazaar, where there are a lot of food shops, so I’ll head over there. There’s also a car parked here, and I’ll pick up the security guard from here. It’s a fairly large food court-like atmosphere, and it’s traditional. They also sell things like that, which I’ll eat later, but this kind of nan is the staple food, and the smell of the Uighur people here is so delicious, it’s totally Middle Eastern, I ‘ve decided to go into a tea shop now, it seems to be on the second floor, I heard you can drink coffee in this, so I’d like to go for a bit, I’m going to eat dinner later, it’s amazing , it’s so amazing , it’s a cafe, it’s 28 yuan, yes, cafe , and now I’ve entered a cafe where you can really feel the Uighur culture, and I ordered the coffee with the naan I showed you earlier, and you can smoke inside the shop, so we Everyone is smoking so yes, I chose this shop. Yes, an ashtray and foot tray came out right away. This is Kazakhstan black tea. The contents look like this and it smells really good. It has nothing to do with Uyghur, but it is a traditional Kazakhstan milk tea. It also came with something sweet. So should I just put it in my mouth like this? It’s like this. Yes, it’s just regular coffee. It’s a little lukewarm, but yes, the coffee itself is delicious. I think the colorful stuff around it is probably something sugary, but it’s sweet. I’ll try eating the “ta” part now. Yes, it’s not what I thought it would be, it’s something like that, it’s not like bread with the dough of Palto. It’s delicious. It’s surprisingly sweet, it’s a bit delicious. Thank you for your hard work. This is my first time drinking Kazakhstan. It’s a bit salty, isn’t it? It’s common, isn’t it like this one. Yes, but I like it. It stopped at the mountain. It could be the mountain . な English: I think the Central Asians here are famous for their salty Merku tea, right? It’s delicious. Well, it’s already about 8pm and it’s really bright outside. I’m not going to eat dinner here, but there’s a restaurant I’d like to go to, so I’d like to move a little in that direction and go to have dinner. It really feels like I’m overseas. Of course it is overseas, but it doesn’t feel like I’m in China. It’s already 8pm and it’s so bright and the sky is so blue, it really makes me feel like I’ve been to Dubai, Sukat or Oman at night. It’s so lively and bright that you can’t believe it’s past 8pm. There are also huge mugs of beer on sale today, amazing Uighur beer. Traditionally, wherever you go there is a lot of mutton food, and I’ll eat that later. I won’t be eating at the food stalls. It ‘s really bright, isn’t it? ら見てくださいねーわ。 English : It’s the middle east, so please go ahead and try this bread and such. It has a Middle Eastern feel to it. Now let’s move to the restaurant using the dentist car app. This is a Toyota car. We have arrived. This time I’m planning to go to a restaurant inside here. It’s just about evening now, so it’s 9 o’clock. It’s a bit buggy, isn’t it? Anyway, I’ll go through security again and go inside. I didn’t do any research beforehand, so I thought I’d go to the restaurant in the building at the back, but for some reason, there’s a Boeing 75 plane parked here and it’s connected somehow. I didn’t know this at all. I’ve just come here and seen it for the first time. It says Mitsubishi, so why is it Mitsubishi? It says Mitsubishi Motors, but I don’t know what the oil is. I don’t know why. I don’t think the 75 engine is made by Mitsubishi, so the restaurant I decided to go to this time is this restaurant. Anyway, I’ll eat a lot here today. I’m hungry. It’s a traditional Uighur restaurant. So I went inside the restaurant. It’s really, really crowded. It ‘s very flashy. I think it’s decorated in traditional Uighur style. Yes, you can smoke inside the restaurant. It’s wonderful. Well, I came all the way here, so It’s not exactly the same, but I’d like to eat a lot of things like skewered lamb. The recommendation here is this Uighur cuisine, but it seems like everyone orders something like a yogurt ice cream drink, and I ‘d like to try a little of that. For now, I’ve ordered skewered lamb and other things, and you can drink tea for free, and they give it to you in a pot. Yes, and now you can throw your cigarettes away inside, so it’s great. First of all, the Na, it’s a regular plain V , and this has something like grilled meat inside, yes, I ordered this too, looks good . It’s super hot and freshly baked, and you often find this when you go to the Middle East. It’s this type of bread, or rather the type with minced meat filling inside. It’s so hot you might get burned. Let’s eat. Yes, this is my first time having Iglu. Yes, it has a great aroma and is apparently minced lamb inside. It’s delicious, it’s piping hot, the lamb inside is really juicy and has a nice bite, and the seasoning is quite simple, but it’s very flavorful and doesn’t have the unpleasant taste that I don’t like. It’s incredibly delicious. Is this normal? Oh, I love it. It’s really chewy and delicious. And this one seems to have chicken and vegetables. It’s a very tasty dish but it looks delicious. It looks really delicious. It has lots of onions and green onions in it so it’s delicious. It’s a little spicy but it’s still good. It’s spicy. It goes really well with cola. They regularly have some kind of show and I think it’s Uighur music. It’s on the other side so I can’t see it but I can hear the music. And this is the lamb skewers. It looks delicious. It was placed on top of the skewers I ordered earlier. I’m sure it was the same when I ate it at Ichigol. It looks super delicious. It’s freshly cooked. Super delicious. Super delicious. I could eat it forever. This is really important. I wonder if I should order some more. This is so good . It’s the best. It doesn’t have any smell at all. The one I had earlier was simply salt and pepper, but this is spiced lamb skewers. It suddenly has a Middle Eastern taste. But it’s so good. It’s so good that I ordered some more. We were both saying that it would be great if they sold this in Japan, but these are only 5 yuan each. It’s about 100 yen. The skewers are also super good. It’s amazing. Uighur rice is super good. And there’s also the Uighur yogurt, ice cream and tea mixed together, which is said to be popular. Ice cream yogurt T Yes, I ordered that, but it’s a little refreshing.I was expecting it to be sweet, but it was quite sour, like a cold yogurt juice, which is good in its own way. Then, melon and watermelon, which are specialties of Uyghur, are probably distributed to each table as a service, but unfortunately I am allergic to both watermelon and melon and can’t eat them, but I think I’ll try some of this Uyghur melon. Is this the kind of melon? They sell it in Japan too, I’ll eat it.It’s delicious, the taste is really good.I could eat it forever too. It’s not too sweet, but it smells of melon. Also, this is rare, but this is the first time I’ve had lamb heart.Yes, it has no smell and is like beef patties, which is delicious. And this is also lamb, it’s like grilled lamb, it looks good, but there’s a lot of it.This is lamb spare ribs, I think it’s still on the bone.I’ll eat it like this, chan.Yes , this is so good, amazing I was very satisfied with the oily food. It was really delicious. Uighur food is really delicious. Today, I was eating with Ito-san, and we were talking about how it might be more delicious than the Arab food you eat in the Middle East. Yes, I’m very satisfied. Anyway, I’m going back to the hotel now and will rest for today . Good morning. Today is May 10, 2025, the second morning of my stay in New Uighur City, Urumqi, China. I came to the breakfast venue. There are some Uighur-like and Middle Eastern dishes, but basically the main food is Chinese food. It ‘s a bit strange, but it’s a bit strange. I’ll eat a little more. I brought some sesame seeds like this for breakfast. I’d like to eat some local food today. What else is there? Yes, I’ll eat this and get ready to go out. Now, New Uighur Jitic Lumuchi 2 It’s the 3rd day, so I’m going to the museum from now on. The museum is free to enter, but you can’t get in unless you make a reservation, so I made a reservation for me, and after that I went to the mosque, looked around the city a bit, and ate some local specialties, and I think that’s about it for today. I have one day, so I think I have plenty of time. It’s almost lunchtime now, so I’d like to go like that. So, I’d like to go with you again today, and we’ll be heading to the museum now . This is the Uyghur Museum, and admission is free and anyone can enter. It looks like this, with Arabic written over the Chinese characters, I think. Here, we will introduce the new Uyghur culture, and思い出しました。 English: There are exhibits of various things, and the main attraction is a Braille version of the Mira excavated in this area. However, you of course need a foreign passport to enter and make a reservation in advance to enter, but most tourists will probably come here , and the museum itself is a bit like a mosque. The koan people are there now, so we’ll go through security and go inside. There are lots of koans. Anyway, for today, I’ll be entering this museum first. I’ve always wanted to come here, so the name New Uyghur Earthwork Museum is very straightforward and sounds good, so let’s go. For now, we’ll go inside. It’s very spacious, huge, and today is Saturday. There are quite a lot of customers, mostly Chinese rather than foreigners. The inside is like a dome, and it looks like the top of a mosque . I think ours is based on the Islamic motif, and it looks like this . Sorry, it’s a bit of a hidden treasure, but I just asked a staff member to ask Mr. Ito, and apparently the room where the mummies are on display is under construction today and cannot be viewed. I came here mainly because I wanted to see the mummies, but I have no connection with places like the Tonto Museum or European churches, as they are always under construction. I came anyway, so I’ll just take a quick look. There are historical items on display, but it’s quite crowded. There are stones from a long time ago on display, I think, but I’m interested in I’m not really interested in these kind of things, so I’ll just go over the gist of it. There are pictures of mummies here, but you won’t be able to see the real thing this time. This Protestant area is definitely Islamic, and when you look into it, it seems like there was also sacrifice, or offering people to God, and I think there are a lot of remnants of that culture on display. Sorry, I’m not an expert so I don’t really know, but I think this is a tomb. In this Uyghur museum, there is an inscription on the death of Jinping, and it says that China is a relic. Since I’ve come all the way to the border of Igor, my own country, to see the remains of the museum, It’s amazing that you can’t see the main attraction, I think it’s a really high probability, it’s shocking. Anyway, this time there was very little to see, it’s still under construction, there were the original exhibits at the back over there, and then the back was all covered with blue tarps so you couldn’t get in, and you couldn’t get in either, so I finished looking around in about 15 minutes. Now I’d like to go to that mosque from here, before I went to the mosque I was a little thirsty, so at the back there are Burger King and Chagi, but there is a Muji there, I didn’t know there were so many Muji stores in Uyghur, so I’ll go and buy a drink there, I’ll go to this Muji, I was a little curious so I went in to Muji, it’s the same as always, it said Japan, I bought cold tea, I ca n’t believe it , you can use JCB, right now I buy tea with JCB, I can’t use Axe or anything at all, but yesterday at the restaurant I was able to use JCB, see, it’s like this, JCB up All MasterCards are accepted, so I bought some tea at Muji. You can also use JCB Axe. It seems that the rate of credit card acceptance is higher than in Beijing. It’s amazing. There is a statue of a lady here in Uyghur. It seems that there are three ways to cut hair, but I saw it in Japanese so I took a look. Tokyo’s latest fashion trends. Also, you often see Watson in Bangkok, and there are quite a few of them in Bloom Street. I’m thinking of going to a mosque now, but after doing some research, it seems that ordinary people, foreigners and Chinese people are not allowed into mosques . It seems that they are already restricted and you can only see them from the outside. But it’s in Uyghur, so I would like to go and see it. There are a lot of strawberries and cherries on sale at the stalls. I’m going to the mosque by car now , so I arrived. There is a mosque over there, but this is the one I’m aiming for this time.間と一緒に おいしいお野菜とおいしいお酒を楽しみました。 English: Does it look like it?I heard you can’t go in, but it feels like you can.Yes, let’s take a look.Apparently, I thought you couldn’t go in to this mosque, but it seems you can.The lower part has been remodeled into a shopping mall, so it may no longer function as a mosque.Okay, so let’s go inside.I went inside and was able to go in easily. It doesn’t seem like there’s any security check. The building itself isn’t that big, does it?The lower part is a shopping mall, but the upper part seems like you can enter like a mosque.I think you enter from here.I just asked, and they said it’s closed today and the mosque is inside, but they said you can’t, but if you come from Japan and really want to see it, they’ll let you in.The inside, the mosque’s facilities have been removed, but it seems like it’s been turned into an office if you’re facing towards Mecca, so it doesn’t really look like a real mosque in the Middle East. It doesn’t look like he’s in the mood, but he said he’d let us in and was really kind. The Eagle guy then gave us a special tour. It was really nice, as we were the only ones who were Japanese and he opened up a new world for us. We put on all-over shoe covers and went inside. It’s amazing, it reminds me of when I went to the Middle East, this fluffy, beautiful carpet, this huge mosque, it’s so, so beautiful, it faces Mecca and you normally can’t get in, so it’s amazing, he was a really nice guy, so he let us in as a special favour, it’s so, so beautiful, it’s amazing, the atmosphere is amazing, normally you can’t get in so it was a really great experience, the ceiling is really beautiful, this is a Uyghur mosque and he let us in as a special favour, but it seems that Muslims still pray five times a day inside this mosque and it’s basically the victims of sexual assault. Apparently you can’t enter the underground area, and it’s only open on special days, but this time he was extremely kind and let me in. He was a very sincere person and also spoke English. Normally in Islamic countries, during prayer time they play Islamic music, like the azan, but that doesn’t seem to happen in Uyghur. However, they do worship, and although it is an Islamic area, it does have a unique feel to it. I think there are various strict regulations, but they are extremely kind. The atmosphere when I entered and the people I met just now made me think of kind people in the Middle East. It really isn’t China at all. And this is Uyghur ice cream, it costs 5 yuan a pop. I just tried it and the taste is, how can I put it, it’s a little different from vanilla, but it tastes like the cheap ice cream you all ate in the Showa era, Do you know what a screen is? It’s a bit like ice cream and it has a really nostalgic taste. It’s 5 yuan per piece, so 100 yen, so it sells quite well, everyone comes to buy it. So, I just left the mosque, and the caretaker of the mosque said that there is a recommended tourist spot, and it seems there is a famous temple built in the Zhen Dynasty within walking distance from here. There is apparently a Chinese-style mosque there, so I’m going there. There are a lot of metal shops like this, all written in Arabic, and there are quite a few around here. I’m walking to the temple now, and it says something like this, “ethnic unity,” and it says that China’s 53 ethnic minorities and the Chinese ethnic minorities are all one. If you ask me, I think it’s written to brainwash people. So this is the Chinese-style mosque, which is a complete temple, but I think that’s fine to think of it that way. It seems to be quite famous and was recommended to me, so I came here. It was about a 10-minute walk and it’s kind of similar, it’s like Onzen-dori in Japan, with a temple surrounded by lots of shops. I think you can just go inside, but this feels completely like a Chinatown. I was just told that, but it ‘s a temple in China as it is now, which is an Islamic cultural temple in China, so it’s a little different from the various temples you see in Japan, where funerals are often held, it seems to be a temple based on Islamic and Chinese culture. I think that’s true, I’ve never seen anything like it before. It looks like a Chinatown or a temple inspired by Japanese people, but it’s a little different. Then you go through security again and then you go inside. There are no people inside the temple. It’s spacious like this, and the entry is quite low. No matter how you look at it, it feels like a Chinese temple with Japanese musicians playing, but it’s a strange place because it’s a temple in a slum. The receptionist was also from Igor, not from that ethnic group. To be more specific, the colors do seem to be a bit Igor-like, and the decorations are quite detailed. I’m walking down a street full of shops, which is where the new Protestant culture is, and I’m thinking of having lunch there. There’s a mosque in a quiet place in the city, but it’s surrounded and we can’t get in. It feels like this is reality. There are lots of amazing food stalls, and this is the building here. However, it seems to be being shipped by sea. I’m really not blessed. There used to be lots of shops here, like a bazaar in front of here, but it’s closed now . It’s really amazing, isn’t it? I walked around here but as I said, we can’t go in so we can only see the exterior. This is the outside of the New Church. It really does feel like, how can I put it , that the places and culture that the Uighur people cherished are slowly being erased. Yes, why couldn’t I go inside? Right now there are a lot of food stalls here and they have a traditional Uighur dish called laghman, which is noodles. We decided to eat it together for lunch and then we started eating . It smells so good, there are a lot of food stalls around here as well. There’s the smell of roasting laghman and they’re making pilaf. It looks like it would be good to eat here . We’re eating laghman and they also have that bread. So we’ll eat at this local restaurant, which looks really delicious. The price is 22 yuan for the laghman with toppings and 25 yuan for the pilaf. Originally, the pilaf was a little more expensive, so I just ordered some extra skewered lamb. This is the Uyghur lamb pilaf.Oh, it looks pretty good.I think this is a complimentary dish. It’s like a salad from Ninsan. It’s very authentic.Okay, so the laghman came.I ordered the type that you pour on top.It ‘s like a udon noodle dish, but it’s incredibly delicious. It’s really good.I think any Japanese person would like it.I think the pifilah is the same.Okay, let’s eat.Okay , let’s eat.I pour this all over generously, pour it all over. Then mix it up and eat it.The ingredients are minced meat, tree jellyfish and green peppers. It doesn’t usually have jellyfish in it, but this one does.Okay, so Uyghur cuisine laghman is delicious.Yes, this is delicious.I’m sure everyone will say it’s delicious. It ‘s easy to eat.The seasoning is also gentle, so it’s not too strong, but it’s tomato-based and really delicious.I’m sure there are restaurants in Saitama that serve mogumo.I’ve been there. It was near Omiya station so if you’re interested, you can probably find Lagman on the internet and maybe you can buy it as a frozen food, but it’s delicious and I recommend it. This is Uyghur lamb plov pilaf. Let’s eat. It’s quite light in flavor and delicious. It has a gentle taste and doesn’t have the buttery taste of pilaf, it has a refreshing taste similar to Japanese gomoku rice. Everything is delicious. And continuing from yesterday, we have meat. This is just grilled as usual. It ‘s 5 yuan per stick with salt and pepper. It’s super cheap. The meat here is definitely bigger than the Yangkochi you eat in Korea. The meat there is really big, so it’s really authentic. This is delicious, just like yesterday. Now that I’ve had some delicious food, I’m going on a bit more but I’m going to try the Urumqi subway. It ‘s on Line 1, I think it’s currently on Line 1.ら見てくださいね! English: I think only Line 1 runs through the city, but I didn’t know there was a subway in Urumqi so I decided to take a ride.Anyway, I’ve just gone through security and gone inside. There are many subways in China , but it’s my first time. They’re looking for writers.I would understand if it was an airport, but they’re very cautious about fire and oil. Also, I heard that there’s a gas station where you can put gas in your car, but you don’t need a passport or a resident card or something like that to buy a ticket. So I bought a ticket and headed to the bazaar. It wasn’t a token, it was a card type.Okay, I’ll just get on the subway as usual. This is my first time on the Urumqi Metro. As I said earlier, only Line 1 of the Urumqi Metro is open now, but it goes directly to the airport.I think it’s pretty good that you can get there from the city center without going directly to the airport. It has a lot of users. We went to this place called No.2 Daoqiao , which is the station where we went to the bazaar yesterday, but we only got on one stop, and now at the airport, it’s not the airport. The announcement on the subway platform was The language is Uyghur, then Chinese and occasionally English. Yes, so the main language is spoken. It’s really, really new and looks beautiful. We’ve arrived at Shinjuku . It’s quite difficult. In Arabic it flows from the left like this, but in Chinese it flows from the right like Japanese. This switching is really interesting, it’s like this. So, we decided to get a little massage before going back to the hotel, so we’re going to go together now for a massage. Foot massage. This is it. Since it’s the person in question, we’ll be getting a foot massage in this room. So we’re getting our massages now. It’s great. It was already here during the previous tree cup, but you can smoke here. We’ve also had drinks and fruit. It’s great. Right now, in this foot bath. They put some Chinese herbal medicine in it, so I received a wonderful massage and my strength was restored. It’s so bright now, but it’s already 8pm. Time flies by, and the time is fading. So, I’ll have a quick dinner and wrap up my stay in Urumqi. I’ve been eating Uighur food in a row, and there are a few Japanese restaurants in the area, so they’ve done a little research and I’ve decided to eat sukiyaki. I’m off to eat sukiyaki now. It’s amazing, there are so many dandelion seed-like things waiting from the plant. I had these waiting in Beijing too. It’s amazing, I saw this in the city center, in Feishan, and there was a Japanese restaurant in a shopping mall in the city center. I heard there is a mall, well I haven’t looked into it much, but it’s a bit windy. It’s the CC Mall, it’s a very cutting-edge shopping mall, it looks like it’s pretty close to the hotel, I’m not an expert myself, but Mr. Ito who was with me said there is a store called Pop Mart which is super popular in Japan, Thailand, Korea and the UK, and it’s apparently very popular here. It’s really crowded, and I don’t really know what kind of store it is, but it sells dolls and miscellaneous goods, or something like that. It’s a store that sells character goods, and it seems to be very popular, but I had no idea about it. You could probably make a profit by reselling it. It ‘s amazing, you could sell things like this to an e-book store, and have a shop like this. It’s really beautiful that there’s a shopping mall , it looks like Bangkok, and there’s also a Tesla. America is currently on the offensive with the Uyghur issue, but they have a Tesla. There’s quite a bit of Japanese food, it was about 3 yuan now, they have wagyu beef yakiniku and it’s amazing, this is yakiniku too, Marutaya is Japanese, well it’s not run by Japanese people, but it’s a Japanese-style yakiniku restaurant that’s full. This restaurant is amazing, so we went into a Japanese restaurant. Finally, it’s very unlikely that we’ll be able to eat Japanese food in the future, so we decided to eat something, so we went in. There were two of us, and we’re drinking Sangaria’s Grey Plum Ramune. Sorry, we’re just eating a bit of sushi, but I think the quality is pretty amazing. It was something like 78 yuan for 5 rolls. But the price is also amazing, I think it would be amazing if you ate it in Beijing, but if it’s 78 yen, it’s still under 100 yen. I really wanted to eat it, so I ordered it. I never thought I’d eat sushi in Xinjiang. Yes, the vinegared rice is a little bit too much, but it’s delicious. I think the quality is high. Only the vinegared rice is a little bit, I wish it was a little more like vinegared rice, but it’s delicious. Yes, this is what I ordered. It looks delicious. It looks like it’s just normally delicious. The smell is also, well, it’s a Japanese-style Uighur, so it didn’t seem like it would be very edible, but we live in an amazing age. It was sukiyaki, not with raw eggs, but boiled with hot spring eggs. This looks delicious. Sorry, I’ve eaten quite a lot, but I’ve just eaten makiyaki, tempura and rotifers. Well , I didn’t think I’d be able to eat such Japanese food in Uyghur, so I laughed a little, but there were quite a few customers there and everyone was eating things like sashimi. I wonder how they manage to keep so much food in such an inland place, but their technology has really improved, so I returned to the hotel. This time I stayed in my new home, Uyghur city of Urum, for two days. What did you all think of what you saw? As expected , Japanese people have heard a lot about Uyghur in the media, and I think that’s a real problem. Before I came here for the first time, I was very anxious and, to be honest, I was scared, but after staying there, I noticed that the police surveillance was stronger than in other Chinese cities. But I was able to act quite freely, and although I’ve been to many cities in China, I didn’t think it was that different. As for the atmosphere, compared to other cities, of course there are more security checks and a lot of police officers and things like that, but to be honest, I didn’t really get that kind of tense feeling in the city this time. Well, it’s a city with an Islamic culture, so the atmosphere is definitely different from other Chinese cities. The faces are also completely different, and there are more people speaking Uighur than I expected. In most places it’s Chinese only, and even when you go to Korean places , you’ll mostly find people speaking Chinese. That’s the same when I go to Mongolia, but here it’s really different. In terms of percentage, the official ethnic group speaks Chinese, and I think there are probably more Uighurs in that town, but there were a lot of people speaking Uighur and their faces looked just like those Turkish people, so it was almost as if I was in China. I thought it might be difficult to speak in that area unless you choose your words carefully, so I was quite careful, but I thought it was at a level where you could travel normally. But what you all think is a different matter, and I would appreciate it if you could write about that in the comments section, but yeah, the food was delicious and the people of Uighur were incredibly kind, and of course there are a lot of kind people. I was allowed into the mosque today and there are lots of shops and I wonder why I I thought that the situation in Uyghur that I heard about in Japan, of course there are dark sides to it, but if you just talk about the state of the city, it was like this. It wasn’t originally from China, it was a country called Uyghur, or something like that, and there are many difficult issues, but honestly, that’s my impression, and as I’ve said many times, it was more normal than I thought. I’m sure there are all kinds of opinions, but if you put all that aside, I think it’s a place that Japanese people can normally enjoy if they come to travel. I think China is currently relaxing its regulations regarding Uyghur and trying to invite foreigners. I didn’t take any video, but in the city, the luxury hotel Ritz Carlton was under construction, and other hotels were also being built, and commercial facilities were also being built, and they are trying to expand the subway, and it seems that the people are quite busy, so it didn’t really look like they were being oppressed and losing their jobs. I don’t know about the dark side, but I got the impression that there are some wealthy Uighurs out there. This time, I delivered my stay in Uighur country in this way, but it is still mainly Uighur, it is quite a large city with many different types of people. This time we went to the most urban and developed city of Urum, but tomorrow, to be precise it will be a few hours after the date has changed, and I think it will be in the next video, but from Urum we will fly to a town called Kashgar, which is closer to the Uighur people. Urum has become a bit more urban, but we will be moving to a town where you can experience an even stronger Uighur atmosphere and culture, so we will take an early morning flight to Kashgar, and next time I plan to show you my stay in the city of Kashgar, so I hope you will be able to compare the two . I think that’s because there are quite a lot of restrictions over there, so I would like to cover that in the next video. There are restrictions like that, so there are limits on where a foreigner like me can go, so I think I’ll make a few videos about Uyghur, but this time I’ll be covering urushi wood, so I’d like to end it here. If you don’t mind, please leave your thoughts on this video in the comments, as it will be very helpful, so thank you. Also, if you haven’t already done so, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. I’ll continue next time, thank you for watching.

As a Chinese, I am very happy that Japanese friends can visit Xinjiang and tell the situation in Xinjiang objectively and truly. I have been to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Tokyo and other cities in Japan. Japan and Japanese people have left a deep and beautiful impression on me. I hope to visit Japan again one day.
