  1. Hey there everyone, thank you so much for checking out my First Impressions on Anno 117: Pax Romana, and a huge thank you to Ubisoft for the invite to the digital event! If you enjoyed the video, feel free to give it a like and subscribe, while also letting me know what you think about the game in the comment section below. There's another video on 10 Things You Need To Know coming soon, so stay tuned for more!

  2. Thanks Havoc. Nice video. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this game.
As for combat, I really couldn't care less. To me, Anno has always worked best as a city-builder and combat is, at best, a temporary diversion. Anno 1800 is already complex enough just in trying to fulfill needs, explore, do missions, etc. that combat isn't really needed at all IMO.

  3. Guessing they didn't show the military stuff yet. Rome without legions and land warfare would be a travesty. If it is just islands again and navy then it will be a hard pass from me – they need to innovate more IMHO. Cheers for the preview.

  4. Is there any combat / military aspects to the game raiding Gallic or German tribes or anything? I know that Anno games dont delve too deeply into combat for the most part but 1800 has a relatively enjoyable naval system that isnt the focus of the game but still is fun at times

  5. This game looks like a lot of fun, thanks for sharing your gameplay. Did you play this game on Steam? I have a PS5 and glad to see it'll be released on console.
Edit: Also, the game looks gorgeous.

  6. I'm worried as 1800 seemed such a good setting. Industrialisation felt like such a great fit for progression. I loved Industrialising my farms and building skyscrapers

  7. 🤔I'm going to throw a stone into your game 😁 Some players had no fish fertility available leaving only porridge. This may have turned off to judge your reaction just like other items. e.g. trade was extremely limited to almost nothing for some. All this can change on release will that be this year. Maybe not.

  8. I skipped 1800 because I was pretty burned out with the Anno series at that time, but I'm loving the footage for Pax Romana. Will definitely be a day 1 buy!

  9. Exact same game as 1800 with different paint slapped on and very minor changes. Well, Anno fans are some of the most dull simps I have ever seen, so they will paw out hundreds of bucks for all the nickel and dime DLC with a big smile on their faces.
