Descending the Tsubaki Line on a road bike

After the Hakone Hill Climb I descended the Tsubaki Line (yes, THAT Tsubaki Line from Initial D!) down to Yugawara with some friends. Definitely took it easy since it was pretty wet and I’d never done the descent.. or any mountain descent for that matter! I think before this ride, my longest descent was about 6 minutes long – if I add on Yugawara to Sagami Bay, my next video, it was a solid 45 minutes of descending. Kinda bonkers.

The camera got pretty wet during the ascent, and even more wet coming down so the audio properly sounds like it’s from a submarine. I turned it down a bit on this video and threw some copyright-free music over it. Darned shame I couldn’t find any free eurobeat.
