CYCLEATHON Ⅲ – Day 22-24: 260.81 km from Nakagawa to Monbetsu

I’m making a video series of my 3rd cycling trip around Japan!
A cycleathon is like a subathon on Twtich but instead of increasing a timer, subs, bits and gifts increase a distance counter that I have to cover while cycling.
Since I want to try a new route this year, I’m gonna go north but via part of the Nakasendo trail! So far we’ve already met a bunch of incredible people and seen some wicked views. I hope you enjoy the series as we go toward the less traveled areas of Japan!

On days 22-24 We reached the top of Japan! There was a tropical depression coming through when we got to the actual tip, and it brought horrendous weather 🙁 Struggling through the day and further east brought some incredible scenery, but this was the hardest cycling I’ve ever endured! I hope my struggle is enjoyable!

DAY 22 – Nakagawa to Wakkanai (97.76 km)
DAY 23 – Wakkanai to Hamatonbetsu (92.73 km)
DAY 24 – Hamatonbetsu to Monbetsu (128.19 km)
