Through previously unseen amateur films, this documentary explores daily life in occupied France between 1940 and 1942. It reveals a sometimes surprising occupation, between fraternization, propaganda, and human dramas, while highlighting the complexity of the relationships between French civilians and German soldiers under the Nazi regime.

    Ma tentative de jeu de rôle s'est terminée par le fait que j'ai accidentellement appelé mon partenaire par le nom de mon ex. Disons qu'il m'a fallu un certain temps pour me remettre de ce moment gênant😚

    이거 진짜야? 고증을 좀 해보지. 저런 삼각팬티에 브래지어만 걸친 비키니 수영복이 2차대전 당시에 어딨었어?? 수영복이 아니고 그냥 속옷도 그때는 저런게 없었다구. 여자들은 반바지형 고쟁이 속옷을 입었어. 서양여자들도 모조리~ 비키니수영복은 말야 1948년 9월에 처음 나온 거야!~ 비키니란 남태평양 미국령 환초가 여자 젖가슴처럼 두 개가 해수면에 볼록 불거져 나와서 붙인 이름이라구. 암만 봐도 이거 조작 같은데?? 가짜면 고증을 좀 하고 만들어라 너무나 티가 나서 짜증난다.

    [퍼플선셋]이란 중국 영화 아나?? 거기서는 진짜 일본서도 1995년부터 입기 시작한 짧은 치마 교복을 50년 전 세계에서 선보여서 너무 어이 없더라. 특히 러시아여군은 지금도 못 입는 미니스커트 군복이 나오질 않나?? 시청율 끌어들이려고 관음증 환자들에게 어필하기 위해서 막 너무 엉터리 허접 패션을 보이고 있어!~ 시대착오적이고 아예 아직도 없는 패션을~!! 고증이 너무 엉터리라 짜증나더라.

    How did they get that translation "rednecks" ?
    It sounds like he said, "wie ein klotz in Frankreich" which translates to "Like a block in France"
    Redneck is a slang word for a farmer in the US south who got a sunburned neck working in his field. He is stereotyped as being a racist.

    Cet anti communiste est un lâche, un type écoeurant. Rappelons les propos de De Gaule qui demandait aux Français, partout où ils étaient, d'éliminer l'ennemi. Ceux qui l'ont fait ne sont pas responsables des représailles nazies; c'est ceux ci qui sont des assassins devant l'histoire. De Gaule a défini les Communistes comme des "patriotes" (verbatim)!

    The French knew enough about the oppressions, arrests and deportations of the Jews, as did everyone else under Nazi occupation. It's just more denialism. There were people who joined the Resistance. THEY never claimed 'not to know anything'. They knew, and they acted. People are mostly fearful conformists, but that doesn't mean they were in total ignorance of the Evil all around them. Most people either didn't care, or approved of it. Just like today. And then…collective amnesia after the War. Just like in Germany. Little has really changed.

    Deixa eu ser o advogado do Diabo: Os nazistas trataram os franceses muito melhor que estes fizeram na WW1. Os alemaes depois da WW1 continuaram bloqueados e passaram fome brava por anos, depois tiveram a economia destruída. Ja na Franca para quem nao era judeu ou cigano a coisa era suave. Acho tambem que o frances comum nao quiz de novo entrar em guerra com a Alemanha, ja tinham """vencido""" a outra guerra e para o homem comum nao valeu a pena
