Why Film on a Bicycle
Traditional video makers tend to walk, which unless great care is taken, produces a bounce in the video footage. I find filming on a motorbike can be too fast, not allowing you to take in the scenery. The bicycle allows me to interact with people whilst providing smooth footage. If you find it is still too fast, then you can slow the video speed down to half speed, which will still be 30 frames per second.
Why doesn’t the footage look clear
Sometimes I make an error when shooting the video (but very rarely) The most common cause is that your internet connection on YT has set the resolution to below 4K, so check your settings.
Camera Equipment
Since starting the channel I have used my trusty DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (Creator combo)
The Combo comes with a Bluetooth microphone which has given great performance, even when riding at speed. I film at 4K & 60 frames per second, my light and ISO settings are on Auto. The Camera is strapped to my left wrist (so it might appear that I am close to things on the left). I control the Camera head via an application on my phone (Mimo), using my right hand Thumb. Action cameras to date, have smaller light sensors and are not competitive at present for low light filming.

Richmond stilll go out cycling on Sunday, Wednesday, Fridays. Paul has a few bikes for rent. The ride is variable but is normally around 25km. From Richmond to Na Jomtien view pont, via Wat Na Chom Tien, back roads. Then back along the quiet roads to Second Road near Espana Condo upto Thap Praya Road, then onto Dongtan Beach up to the7-11 soi 5. Some riders peel off to go to their condos before the end

It's ironic that I live in a provincial UK city and there's more 'Decent' English Breakfasts available in 'Greater' Pattaya than my city. On top of that, the most expensive one in Pattaya is still cheaper than the cheapest one in my city… 🤷♂
With the amount of CCTV in thailand, the police should be able to track the thief straight to their house/ condo !

Breakfast looks good quality nice thick bacon 🥓 instead of transparent bacon 🥓 that some serve in Pattaya sausage looks good quality as well but wasn't impressed by the eggs.
Nick Dean from NDtvi condominium got raided it stopped for a while and you guessed it the tour busses of Chinese are started to come back and he's not happy about it he's going to the condominium owners meeting with immigration and police to the meeting if he's not 🐂💩 us on his livestream, you never know with Nick and yes I have known Nick before he had his first bar the Assienda on soi pothole 😂😂😂😂

Sorry to hear about your bike David, I know how that feels so many questions and no answers, that General Lee place it brings back memories galore, I use to be gorilla glued to the tv overtime Dukes of Hazard was on definitely gonna pop in there when I'm over 5 weeks to go woohoo 🎉 also I heard that nana plaza is opening a place in Pattaya not sure how true the rumours are but I'm quiet surprised that they didn't do it sooner, stay blessed

Well you do live with the Russians ,everything is fair game with no consequence.
A lovely chilled ride around. The walk along Jomtien has lost something since the roadworks and businesses must be struggling more. The prices of new Condos have gone though the roof. I looked off plan at the new Rivieria in Soi 5 and as you say was over 150,000/m3 after all the discounts for a 38 ish m3.
Be interesting to see how the new massive condos even here in Pattaya fair after the recent earthquake scares.
I’ve had the breakfast at 7 s and think it’s exceptional value. Nice service and decent quality products. That toasts were perfect for me. The coffee alone will set you back 70-80 baht in any cafe.
Really hope we get some good news on the bike theft and Karma has his way. Sadly it was only you helping someone else out the precious day that made the bike rideable. Otherwise the tyres would have been flat which makes it even more sick.
Finally thanks for all the help and support the past few days. Really appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your bike, hopefully it turns up soon and they catch the theif. Breakfast looks great, I'm with you on the herb sausages, yuck. Those condo prics are close to what we ay here in Calgary, I'm looking for one at the moment as I go through a divorce. The price here is around $300K CAD of course, for about 700 sq ft or so. If I move over there I'm probably looking for a place no more than 20k per month. I hear you on the size thing, seems like a lot o new builds in Bangkok are very small however I do believe we don't actually need as much space as we think we do.
well that really stinks about your bikes…. I have a piece of land up in northern Minnesota, and someone broke in there and I had tubs of items for storage in a building there… locked… they broke in, went through every tub breaking tubs, and throwing stuff all over, then they took the air conditioner, and the motor out of the furnace.. I had 2 cars there and they took the radiators from them… there's a long story that goes with this… no nothing returned, police were not involved (nothing illegal on my end). G'luck on recovery.
I went into sevens for a breakfast sat down and noticed all the dirt on the fans blowing it all over the place I got up and walked out, went over to Jimmy's the fans were even dirtier 😮went home and had some toast😅

Wow what a Baht Bus clown show. Strang that I like the lax system crazy as it is over the west. They make it one way yet still leave the Double yellow line down the middle of the street. Now you have people driving the wrong way in a one way. Sit back have a drink and watch the clown show
If they make it one way business will pick up on 2nd road if thats the road they pick for return. I can see the city doing that. Real estate will go up on the return baht bus road. Your welcome to anyone who needs the info

Hello Dave, Sorry to hear about your bike.I have a couple of expensive bikes and keep Apple Air Tags securely taped under the seats . It monitors though GPS and tracks on your phone the bike location at all times. The battery lasts about a year and the Tags are reasonably priced here in the US. Hope this helps.
