We make vlogs, not travel guides. We don’t film everything we see or do. Our videos cannot tell every story or show every place we visit. Our videos are merely a short snippet of sometimes a week’s worth of life on the road and it’s intended to show our experience as full-time travelers. As we’re constantly on the move it’s also not always possible to take the time to research every single location. Don't scare that gecko, they are the most useful lizards. They eat many insects including mozzies. You want them inside the house too as pets if they decide to get in but they are usually easily scared.
The window project is excellent job especially when the weather is not so nice and Millie decided to add itself to the job list instead of helping you. Did you think of putting a small motor on the gate with the remote control? I know it sounds like a luxury you dont need now but if you ever going to need it it is now when you will use the gate most often. After seeing your capabilities with the bike to trolley conversation project this should be an easy peasy job too. Anyways, the house is getting there nicely. Looks better every day. Good job both of you.
O jou ma….😂
Brilliant jobs on trolley and glass brick window 👏🏻👏🏻
Well done with all your projects. Can’t wait to see what you get up to in the next video x
: – )
Truly inspiring 🎉
One can only feel good by seeing your positive and happy daily life. Kind regards from Denmark.
So good to watch the progress
Such a clever use of an old bicycle! Everything you two do look even more professional than the work of many paid workers…
Window 🪟 great job and finish …and the bike conversation – very resourceful 👏👏👏👏
Great job evreting.see you next time again.😊😊
Lisa's extremely resourceful using her amazing charm chatting up the bin man, great job Lisa. PS Andre you've also done your bit this week well done.
Once again, a very entertaining video. Mind you, you certainly made me jump when you pulled out the light fitting, I thought that you had an electric shock! But then saw the lizard!!!! I would have jumped too. You are doing an amazing job with all the handy work. Saving yourself a fortune. Glad that the issues with Milly was only a hose, but as you said can be fixed if you can get one. I remember doing a head gasket on a Bedford van in Marrakech in 1970. We thought that we would have to fly parts out….but the local garage had the right one on the shelf! Keep the videos coming please. Best Wishes to you both.
I thought the electrical box gave you a shock. Much funnier that it was a little gecko 😂
very much enjoying your videos and progress. well done
You will need a much bigger composting trench! There is lots of organic material on the homestead of that size. It takes time for most of it to turn to useful organic matter, so it does not go anywhere for quite a while and there is forever more to add.
The row of bricks below the glass blocks needs a sort of plaster for protection. Bricks do not repel water, but soak it in, so the damp may show on the opposite side, in the bathroom.
Comedy Gold Andre ! 🦎 🤣😀
❤❤❤❤
Creative. 👌
You should look into BUKASHI (”The bokashi process means a far wider range of food waste can be composted than in a traditional compost heap…”)
Not sure if you guys have seen the Movie "Oh Brother where art thou", if not I'd recommend it, its very good. As the children of the George Clooney character would say "Andre, he's a keeper, he's bonafide…". He can weld too ?
I honestly thought that Andre had received an electric shock, but it was only a baby lizard. What a wuzz 😉
I think the glass blocks came out very well, a lot of work but worth it for the end result. So glad that Millie's issue was only a burst hose, nothing that a spot of weld won't fix !
While you were walking around outside, I noticed some annoying roots where they shouldn't be and then Andre showed us the pear tree that he thought was dead but it was sprouting new shoots. It reminded me of a poem that we learnt when in School. The Poet was talking about visiting his wife's homeplace in the country, and he called it "that crumbling place of growth". Living in the country is exactly like that, things are dying and sprouting new life all the time. I'm so impressed with that bespoke trolly that Andre has fabricated. McGyver would be proud.
Great video, so enjoyable as always, thanks for sharing.
Waterproof the lintel 😉😊
This was fun to watch. Please keep us posted about the process. 🤩 I really like the glass brick window and the amazing trolley. You making a new brick was also very inspiring.
Loving this new adventure you guys are on!
Well done on the window, vent and trolley. Amazing. Andre, great diagnosis for Millie.
Husk at tænke på at rotter elsker madrester
You folks are so creative! The cement brick solution for the went is incredible. Fun to watch your updating the homestead. Looked like Lisa was thinking of not coming back when she took the bike to town.
I was abit worried, seeing Andre digging a trench, with no sign of Lisa 🤣🤣
I love the trolley. 👍🐸
I compost cardboard as long as it doesn't have a lot of dye on it. So happy to watch all the progress you are making….you tempt me to escape this madness and live on an olive grove in Puglia! Any thoughts on growing your own produce? We've been to Puglia once in November a few years ago, don't really recall seeing many farmer's markets. Trolley is very clever!
Really enjoy watching the two of you leading an idyllic life
Laughing my head off on that bike bedframe transition! Brilliant!😂😂😂
Good luck
Andre, you're talents are limitless! Chapeau sir.
As an italian, I'm always glad when nice and smart people like you decide to move here!
And I love that part of Puglia. I used to go to summer vacation to a place really similar to that!
Looking good, the weather helps. What a change in south Europe lately, l was in Bucharest last month in -12c, l was back last week in 18c.🤔
I really love how much fun you guys are having and I love the creativity you are bringing into your lives!! Keep up your good spirits and keep on keeping on!!
