Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2024 – Kumamoto Aso Stage, Sunday, Oct. 13

This mountain stage features stunning views of one of the world’s largest calderas and rolling grasslands. The course takes riders through the Aso Shrine area, which was rebuilt after the Kumamoto Earthquake, and up the Hakoishi Pass, a first-category climb offering panoramic vistas of the Aso Five Peaks. The race continues with three laps of a smaller circuit that includes the second-category Namino climb, before descending toward Takamori. Riders will pass the fully restored Minami-Aso Railway and the famous Shirakawa Spring, one of Japan’s 100 Famous Water Sources, before finishing in Minami-Aso Village. This stage will be pivotal in determining the overall race winner.
