  7. So good to see the kind people you meet along the way. Sooths your long tiring journey ya. You both are so kind & polite too. Mutual kindness there 👍🌹

  8. Hi Luke and Naomi, I still think your plan is crazy, it might take you couple of months to get to Shanghai and there are many mountain areas on your route. Please stay safe.

  9. I hope you have a wonderful time in Thailand. Thai people are always happy to help. I wish you a safe journey to your destination. Sending you both my best wishes.

  10. You're doing great. We started bike touring ten years ago and it can be rough at first. I haven't seen all of these videos from BKK yet but just a few tips for Thailand if you haven't already figured them out. First, Pocket Earth (iPhone only) is a great nav tool for bicycles, especially in cities. RideWithGPS also. Thailand is blessed with a million paved back roads that are on Google Street View so whenever you can get off of those crazy highways. The little bungalow resorts are nearly everywhere at the edges of small towns, clean, hot shower, a/c, locking doors. Most of them also rent by the hour, in a Thai household there often isn't a lot of privacy, if you get my drift. If the sign says "24" it means by the hour. No problem at all in those. Most of those we've brought our bikes inside too, as long as you don't leave a greasy mess behind. Carry on and have a wonderful journey! 7-11 for those electrolyte packets, they're life-saving.

  11. More and more foreigners come to China. By sharing what they have seen and heard with their own eyes and ears, they show the world a real China, thus debunking the lies spread by Western media

  12. That small moment at the roadside restaurant in the countryside is just one example among several in this video showcasing why such a journey is worthwhile. Obviously the end goal is Shanghai but that's just an arbitrary point on a map. The truth is that a journey like this makes every single day a destination. This is travel where every interaction and experience is firmly anchored within the passage of moving from point A to point B. I mean, technically you are traveling, but what you're really doing is living life to the fullest!
