Cycling from Shanghai to Hongkong, 2024/05/08, Day 21;
Shantou to Huilai;
Rode 81.70 kilometers, ferry about 1.70 kilometers, took 5 hours and 57 minutes, total 1736.37 kilometers.
Sometimes people ask me where I rode from and I usually don’t say Shanghai to Hong Kong, but rather where I was yesterday/the day before to today’s destination. But it takes a long, long time to remember what county or city I was in when I left this morning…

Cycling from Shanghai to Hongkong, 2024/05/09, Day 22;
Huili to Lufeng;
Rode 83.20km in 3 hours 46 minutes, total 1819.83km;
– 83 kilometers with a pace of 22km/h, refreshing PB. Sometimes I really should challenge myself;
– To Lufeng hotel after checking in, time is still early, Shanwei is not in the plan route but want to go, on the high-speed rail round trip to Shanwei seaside walk, Shanwei sea is muddy, domestic Hainan expensive is reasonable;
– Guangdong began to drink PocariSweat again, in Fujian when I saw a small number of times, in addition to Maidong, Jianjiao, generally Yandian and Dongpeng;
– At Shanwei saw a Hongkong car and knew I was almost there 🤣
– Sometimes when riding look up at the clouds, feel really good!
