My Youngest Fan Took Me Busan’s Best Sujebi Restaurant 🇰🇷

This video kicks off at Haeundae Beach in Busan, where I hosted a YouTube meetup. It was amazing meeting everyone who came out, thanks for making it such a memorable experience!

This vlog is a bit all over the place. After the meetup, I took a quick trip to Japan and back, and that’s where the vlog picks up again. When I returned to Busan and was about to head out, a 16-year-old subscriber approached me to say hi. He also invited me to try one of Busan’s best sujebi restaurants, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. Big thanks to him for that!

From there, I hit the road towards Changwon. I decided to ignore the navigation app’s suggested route, which would have taken me back through Yangsan and along a bike path I’ve already done twice. Instead, I opted for a local road route. It was shorter overall, but much hillier and filled with more trucks and traffic, which definitely made it more challenging.

Along the way, I stopped by a cafe that holds a special memory for me, it’s where I had my first-ever bingsu.

It was another eventful day, and thankfully, I managed to find a jjimjilbang to crash at for the night!

Thank you so much for watching! If you enjoyed the video, please don’t forget to hit LIKE and share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear what you think! And if you haven’t subscribed yet, I’d be incredibly grateful if you did.

There’s a lot more to come in the Bike Touring South Korea series, so stay tuned!

  1. Have you ever heard of this suseji restaurant? If you enjoyed the video, please give this video a Like! And don't forget to leave a comment ✌

  7. hi Nick, it` so relaxing and fun to watch your travel videos and all the subscribers you meet, but i had a good laugh at this one when you used the public washroom at the community centre i think and you found out the tp was Not in the washroom LOL.
I`m surprised it`s the 1st time you come across that in all your travels. Cuz it`s common for public washrooms not to supply the tp. And many pubs operate the same way. The pub owner has to supply the tp for their customers to use the washroom in
the multi business building where they operate. Anyway, enjoy your travels.

  8. ❤Dear Nick, I recommend you to eat it with a spoon when you eat soupy food in Korean food next time. It is a Korean food etiquette. If you stir it with chopsticks, it looks like you don't want to eat it.

  11. Yes, it sounds very strange to me that toilet paper shouldn’t be flushed down the toilet. I’m really curious to know the reason why.

  12. For the ones that are curious about the "Sujebi". It is a Soupy Pasta dish. Very old and traditional food, mostly consumed by the poor in the past. Very cheap to make. Usually, the broth is made by using dried anchovies. Simple ingredients are used, like the sliced potatoes and the pasta is irregular in shape because they are hand-pulled from a ball of kneaded dough. In fact, the word "Sujebi" means to pull by using a hand and toss into the soup. Most Koreans enjoy this hot soupy dish during cold seasons.
10:47 Ok, the thing about the toilets. This is usually a problem for older buildings. In more recently built buildings, It is ok to just flush. But glad you pointed that out since if you see a pile of used toilet papers in the restroom, this can be super weird. LOL😀

I enjoy your videos, Stay warm and be safe.
