Cycling the world – Europe: 174 episode
In this episode of my round-the-world bike tour, I continue my journey after a few days of rest in Marseille. The next stop is La Ciotat, which isn’t far, but the dirt roads make for a tough ride through the hilly terrain surrounding Marseille. In La Ciotat, I was hosted by a lady I met two years ago at the westernmost point of Europe while she was touring the continent on her motorbike. After a couple of chilled days, I continued on towards Cannes, enjoying the stunning dirt roads along the way. I camped in a couple of tranquil spots before descending into Cannes, where I was hosted by a couple I met in Morocco last year. While in Cannes, I also reunited with a friend who was passing through on a bike tour.

Hi Davide! I'm so happy to see that you are meeting again with the people you met on the road, one thing that I love when bikepacking is all the friends that I make on the way. When you travel, you quickly realise that a lot of people are very nice and aware of what is essential in life, and hospitality is still a fundamental law in the heart of some.

I had the exact same thioughts about Marseille as you held, it didn't have the best online reputation that I had seen. Your French friend seems wonderfull and yes, I do remember her from that video!
I am looking all this awesome videos and thinking that I should change my life and do something similar.
