Madagascar, the Corridors of Satan | Deadliest Journeys

On the island of Madagascar, the tracks are in poor condition, ravaged by the numerous tropical cyclones which ravage the region and the lack of maintenance. During the rainy season, which lasts almost six months, the roads deteriorate further. Here, only tractors are capable of tackling these tracks. At the wheel of his metal giant, Thierry’s mission is to transport four tons of food to a village cut off from the world. A six-hour drive from the capital, on the Hauts Plateaux, the village of Antanetibe organizes the great Malagasy ritual: “the turning of the dead”. In the capital, salvagers bring new life to everything that is broken. One of them, Marcelin, finds parts destined for the dumpster to transform them into everyday objects that he resells on the markets.

  3. Unreal how poor these African countries are. I am truly grateful that i was born in the united states. We take so much for granted here. More people should watch these documentaries as i think it would make them more appreciative.

  4. Traitorous and unscrupulous leaders of a country only bequeath misery to the nation. Their actions bring suffering and hardship, undermining the well-being and prosperity of the people they are meant to serve.

  5. Bro in the intro it shows a van driving up a mountain and it says " dicing with death " what does that even mean?? 😂😂😂

  7. Seems like those pits in the road could be filled up with gravel, over time, everyone chipping in (pun intended). Shovel clay into the craters, mixed with gravel, and gradually over months, build up an actual resemblance to a roadbed. It looks like the way they're doing it, each crater just gets bigger and deeper with each vehicle. By "gravel" I don't mean graded stone, just rock chips up to about four inches. It would take time to do, but would save time and effort in travel.
