Central Africa, at Your Own Risk | Deadliest Journeys

In the Central African Republic, the civil war has ended up destabilizing a country with an already fragile balance. The wealth of the underground does not trickle down into the demanding daily lives of the inhabitants. Cities are almost cut off from the world, like that of Ngoto.
The road leading there is impassable, ambulances no longer pass, so medical evacuations are done by motorbike. An ordeal for the sick. A race against time or rather a race against death. During the last civil war, many taxis and buses were destroyed or stolen.
Vehicles are lacking, so some bush taxis use livestock trucks. The journey is hellish for the passengers, but everyone maintains their good humor even when it comes to spending a night under the stars.

  1. It is a pity to see the country that produces the world's mineral to manufacture phones and tablets to live this way. Apple and Samsung combined worth more than 3 trillion Dollars can't even come to their senses to help them get out of this situation.

  6. If only the Government of the Congo will be Righteous people. Don't steal, misuse the money of the people. Then they can spend money on the important infrastructure such as roads and transport . Only then will things start to change. I pray for the people of the Congo!

  7. Think about these people and then think about Hollywood celebrities and other millionaires- they live like gods and most people barely survive

  8. These drivers are so understanding, diligent and personable. My heart breaks for my African brothers and sisters having to risk their lives to survive. The motorcycle ambulance and that young lady carrying her two children and walking on the muddy road until the truck route was more manageable are so painful to watch. I applaud the courage of these citizens and wish much progress and prosperity in their lives.

  9. I hate France. They looted any country they colonized mercilessly. They have hands on those countries even today. Recently, Burkina fasohave kicked them out without a second thought.

  10. As someone who was born in a big city, and have always lived in houses that had electricity, running water, heating, etc, I had no idea people were living in such excruciatingly difficult circumstances. My heart breaks for them. And their poor existence is all thanks to those who make wars, and get rich from the wars.

  11. These countries that r so poor in resources for the people and yet they r so very rich in minerales oils diamonds ,who controls all of these and where does the money goes ,? To the colonizers and the greedy politicans who don't care about there people and their suffering ,am vex angry and sad for my people.
