Hey Nick, love your videos of South Korea. I'm retired US Army. Spent over 8 years in Korea from 1977 to 1996. I was a US Army Pilot and have flown to most places in Korea besides having my own car and traveling extensively on my weekends and days off. I have a lot of time being a designated United Nations Command pilot with the Special Investigation Team for the DMZ. I just want to mention a couple of things that may interest you. I don't know if you know but the Koreas are still at war. They are under an "Armistice Agreement". A cease fire if you will. With that in mind some things that you mention I'd like to bring some light on in your travels there. This may give you a slightly different perspective. South Korea in their infrastructure engineering always plan defensively. Almost all the roads from the DMZ to Seoul are "Avenues of Approach" for North Korea. With that being said South Korea Defensively plan on those roads to be blocked at will in case of a North invasion. All the cement Pillars that you point out some decorated with murals, some just massive cement blocks, some are heavy cement overpasses. If an invasion is imminent they all are blown or imploded to block the roads thus slowing a Norths attempt to proceed South with any haste. Also, many of the dams have the same in mind with some misunderstood structures on the dam that have duel purpose as visiting attractions. Many of the Highways, one I saw you show with an unexplained width to the road. Those are actually built into the highway structure to serve as emergency runways. I hope this gets your interest. A myeon is a lower administrative district of an autonomous city, county, or administrative city in the Republic of Korea.
A eup is an administrative district under the jurisdiction of a local government, a county. Most towns are smaller than cities and have an urban form.
A ri is a unit that divides regions in Korea, and is mainly found in rural areas.
A dong is a lower administrative district of a city or district.

영상 보면서 느끼는건데. 우리나라가 볼 거리가 깨알같이 많네요. 가을되면 지방곳곳 다니고 싶은 마음이 들게 만들어요. . 한국의 로빈훗,홍길동도 있고, 작은 계곡들도, 하늘도 너무 푸르고 이쁘네요. 북한군하고 싸우다 돌아가신 분 묘비도 그 장소에 묘비 세운 것도 인상적이에요.

아… 약 2주 전쯤 라이브 한 날 영상이네요. 이 날 너무 힘든 날이었지만, 이 조그만 마을에 도착하고 기대하지 않았지만 봉오치킨점을 발견하고 저녁 먹으면서 라이브 했을때 . 그 날이네요. 그 라이브 하던 날 기분이 엄청 좋아보이던데, 몸은 비록 힘들었지만 뿌듯한 마음도 있고 , 저녁 식사할 곳도 발견, 잠잘 곳도 마련해서 기분이 좋았나봐요 . 💗❤💜 편의점에서 저녁 먹으려고 했는데. 봉오치킨점 발견하고 거기서 저녁도 먹고, 라이브 할 장소도 찾아서 다행이었네요 . 그때 라이브때 나무 젓가락에 있는 봉오치킨점 . 어떻게 알아서 전화로 치킨값대신 내주신 구독자님께 ㅎㅎㅎ 다시 생각해도 너무 유쾌하고 재밌었어요. 그 구독자님 센스 가 아주 갑입니다.
