Moss Village on a bike ride in Ishikawa Prefecture 🇯🇵🚲🌱 苔の里

This moss garden, are you kidding me? 💚🤩 Japan has some beautiful roads for cycling, and living in Ishikawa Prefecture has allowed me to explore a lot of the pretty forest areas – “Koke no Sato” means Moss Village (苔の里), and is located in the southern part of the prefecture, just outside Komatsu City. The area is protected by the Hiyo Moss Garden Preservation Council, in cooperation with the volunteer association “Forest of Wisdom”. I’m so grateful they care for the moss and let people visit. 🌱
