【千葉キャン】 フォルツァで行くソロツーリング! キャンプするならやっぱり千葉! バイクでキャンプ #群馬県

Ladies and gentlemen, Hello, Good evening, This is Yoh from Yo-chan-u. So, today’s video is titled: Chiba Camping! We are currently on our way to Chiba on a bike. Ah, there’s nothing like camping in Chiba on a day with such great weather. Riding on the Kan-Etsu Expressway under the sun feels fantastic. When I think about heading to "Chiba," even the natural scenery of Saitama Prefecture looks somewhat more beautiful. There’s not much scenery to speak of on the expressway, but anyway. We should arrive at the Chiba campsite in about an hour and a half. I’ll take a break at the service area and then continue riding. Alright, we have exited the expressway, and there are about 10 kilometers left to Chiba. I had imagined Chiba to be a bit more flat, but this area is surrounded by mountains, which is quite different from my expectations. Being in such a mountainous area, we probably won’t see any sea or sandy beaches. Even though we’re in Chiba, near the campsite I’m headed to, it’s quite far from any sandy beaches. The weather changes quickly in such mountainous areas, and it’s starting to rain a bit. So, it looks like we are nearing the destination. Here we are, the entrance to the campsite, Chibamura! It’s full of Chiba vibes, isn’t it? I wonder how far we can go. Ah, there’s the reception area. This path is quite tough for bikes. So, I’ll park the bike here and check-in. Alright, I’ve checked in and bought a bundle of firewood. It’s impressive how empty this place is on a Saturday afternoon. This is Chibamura for you. Now, using the map I received at the reception, I found a secluded spot to set up the tent. I’ll be spending the night here. Let’s start setting up. I was worried about finding a crowded campsite, but there’s no need for concern here. I’m going to measure how long it takes me to set up the tarp and tent with a stopwatch. Ready… Start! I’ll start with the tarp. I brought a small tarp, thinking the place might be crowded, but it wasn’t necessary. First, let’s set up the main poles and the tarp. I didn’t think about the direction, but the sun sets over there, so the sunrise should be from that direction. Here we go. The pegs are easy to drive into the ground here. The tarp is set up in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. Next is the tent. Since I brought the tarp, I’m using the small solo cocoon tent instead of my usual pup tent. I didn’t bring a ground sheet, so let’s set up the tent. The tent is up in 14 minutes. With the sleeping bag and other gear inside, it’s about 20 minutes. Now I’ll set up the cot, chair, and table, and see how long that takes. All set up with a total time of 22 minutes and 15 seconds. Not bad. Setting up everything on the left side, it’s nice to create a shady spot. Although I’m here to relax, the setup speedrun can be exhausting. I’ll relax with a drink now. Cheers! This feels great. While enjoying my drink, I’ll split some firewood. The great thing about this campsite is that you can use as much firewood as you want for 1500 yen. But since I don’t need much, I bought one bundle for 800 yen. After splitting enough firewood for tonight’s campfire, I’ll explore the campsite a bit. The water from the faucets here is drinkable. There’s a discount ticket for a nearby hot spring, Mantensei no Yu. Nice. There are tables and chairs set up, and toilets are available. There’s another cooking area too. Although it might be safer to camp near the reception area, it was quite crowded, so I opted for a more secluded spot. They even have cans for ash disposal and water for extinguishing fires. The facilities are well maintained. Hot water is available here too. The map of Kogen Chibamura is a bit old, but it’s vast. You can camp almost anywhere, with frogs croaking in the background. It’s quite large and expansive. I bought a Fanta from a vending machine on a whim since it’s Coke On compatible. Returning to my site, it’s time to start the campfire. Using a mesh fire pit to avoid scorching the grass. I have one fire starter left and no other ignition tools, so I need to use it carefully. Using a fire starter, I’ll ignite some tissue paper and transfer the flame to the kindling. The fire is lit and ready to go. Surprisingly, you can start a campfire instantly with something like toilet paper. I feel like the weather forecast always betrays me. It was supposed to be sunny, but now it’s pouring rain. I tried to move the campfire under the tarp, but it didn’t make it in time and the fire got put out. Well, there’s still plenty of split wood left, so I’ll revive the fire once the rain stops. Meanwhile, let’s prepare a meal. I only bought stuff from 7-Eleven today, but I’ll make some crab porridge as the main dish and grill some sausages on the grill. When eating sausages, I like to relax by the campfire, so I’ll start with the crab porridge. I usually boil water directly over the charcoal, which leaves a lot of soot and is a hassle to clean. So today, I’ll use the compact burner from Iwatani. Alright, the burner is ready, let’s boil some water. I bought some natural water earlier, so I’ll pour it into the kettle. Not too much, just less than half. Turn it on. It’s lit. Now, pour the crab porridge mix into the Sierra cup. Freeze-dried food is so light. I started using freeze-dried food recently, and it’s really convenient. Let’s wait for the water to boil. The water boiled in no time. Pour it into the cup. Wow, it smells amazing, like crab. Time to enjoy the crab porridge. Delicious! It really tastes like crab. Considering you can buy this for about 200 yen at a convenience store, it’s amazing. It doesn’t take up much space, so bringing this to camp every time might be a good idea. Finished the porridge, and I wanted to restart the campfire, but the rain is getting heavier. If it were just a light rain, I could have rekindled the fire, but it’s coming down hard now. So the fire is completely out, but I moved it under the tarp. Moved the table and everything to the front to avoid the rain. Looks like the rain will continue all night, so I’ll keep cooking. I want to light the charcoal now, but there are bugs crawling on it. It wouldn’t be nice to light it with them on, so I’ll move them first. Alright, the bugs are gone. Let’s light the charcoal. The bugs are still on it, though. Move away, it’s going to get hot. The charcoal is lit. Let’s transfer the flame to the kindling. The campfire is back. I’ll cook while keeping an eye on the campfire. All I’m doing is warming up the grilled chicken I bought from 7-Eleven on the charcoal. Looks delicious. The fire is stronger in the front, so it might burn quickly. It looks well-cooked. Let’s try it. Tastes great, warm. The chicken skin is oily, unlike the cartilage-filled tsukune, but delicious. The oil spreads in my mouth, perfect to wash down with a drink. Enjoying grilled chicken in a quiet, undisturbed space, even with the rain tapping on the tarp, is the best. Let’s have some chicken skin. Amazing! The chicken skin is oily and delicious. I’ll continue enjoying the rest of the skewers. I broke the skewer. The handle is small now. But still edible. Hot. I hear thunder along with the rain, hope it’s okay. Finished the chicken, so I’ll grill some sausages. With porridge, a few chicken skewers, and four sausages, it feels like a small meal, but I can’t eat as much as I used to. Grilling sausages on charcoal is quick. Let’s enjoy them before they burn. Grilled sausages, simple and delicious. Finished the sausages, and the campfire was too weak, so I moved the charcoal from cooking to the fire and revived it. I’ll burn the remaining wood and then go to bed. The rain has weakened, but still tapping, hope it stops by morning. Good night. Good morning. Birds have pooped everywhere. Damn. Even in this weather, birds still poop. I need to pack up the tent and tarp, but it’s raining hard. I’ll think about it while disposing of the charcoal. Charcoal disposed of, I encountered the caretaker on my way to the toilet, who gave me a plastic bag. I’ll pack the tent and shove the tarp into this bag without folding it properly. According to the weather forecast, this is the least rainy time, around 8:30 AM. With this rain? No way to dry the tarp before packing. Using the plastic bag from the caretaker to store the tarp and leave. All packed up, I’ll throw away the trash and we’re done. Successfully checked out of the campsite. Disposed of the trash, returned the binder, greeted the caretaker, and left the campsite. Despite the bad weather, Chibamura is great. The pegs go in easily, and the location is fantastic. I’d like to come on a sunny day, but more people might come, so I’ll consider the crowd next time. How was this camping trip? If you enjoyed this video, please like and subscribe. See you in the next video. Bye!
