京都ポタリング 通りの端から端まで走る! #36 相合図子通 #京都 #ポタリング #自転車
The south end of Aiaizushi-Dori This street is Sanjo-Dori Let’s start It has just started The road basically runs through residential areas This time there is not much to introduce But this is the real alley of Kyoto Famous tourist spots are also good It’s nice to take a leisurely stroll along this road The torii you can see is the torii of Gekko Inari Daimyojin And the name of this town is “Nishigekko Town” There was a “Kairekisho” here as a government office of the Edo Shogunate for astronomical observation Also the standard meridian at that time was located here It is now 135 degrees east longitude passing through Akashi City Hyogo Prefecture Is that why the name Nishigekko Town was given? Aiaizushi-dori is divided here by Kyoto City Nishinokyo Junior High School I’ll take a detour Kyoto City Nishinokyo Junior High School is on the left Here we go back to Aiaizushi-dori Aiaizushi-dori continues through the old Nijo-dori The elevated track you can see is the JR Sagano Line Ryuhonji Temple came into view Nichiren Sect head temple Gusokusan Ryuhonji The principal image is the Sanpouson The garden has been designated as a Kyoto City scenic spot but reservations are required to view it (charges apply) No reservation required to visit the shrine grounds (free) The entrance seems to be on the east side of shitcihonmatsu-dori not this Aiaizushi-dori This time I will look at this Ishida Mitsunari who fought against Tokugawa Ieyasu at the battle of Sekigahara which divided the world There is a grave of Sakon Shima who was treated with exceptional treatment by Mitsunari It is generally said that he was defeated at the Battle of Sekigahara and died there However it is said that he fled to Ryuhonji Temple and died 32 years later as a monk at this temple This is where the monk’s grave is (currently the gravestone is being repaired) Shima Sakon’s head has not been found and there are several Shima Sakon graves across the country I don’t know the truth but there’s something romantic about whose grave this is This area also has many temples The building on the left is a temple called Yuseiji There used to be a hall called Kyoto Children’s Cultural Center in the area under construction on the right The hall was mainly used for youth-related events and a mechanical clock was installed near the entrance How will the site be used? He continues a little while further as Aiaizushi-dori continues along the narrow path We arrived at the north end of Aiaizushi-dori The north end of Aiaizushi-dori At the end of this road is Kitano Tenmangu Shrine Road side gourmet This Tengudo is right next to the Sanjo Onmae intersection All the breads have a nostalgic feel and are very delicious This is the bread I bought this time Jam Pan Tsubu Anpan Koshi Anpan

Hello everyone
Thank you for watching Cycle Panda ch.
In this video, we will take you through the streets of Kyoto,
which are said to be shaped like a checkerboard.
I ride my bike (and walk where I can’t) at a leisurely pace.
I hope to be able to show you around the city along the way.
Please take your time to take a look.
Aiaizushi Street
A street that runs from Kamigyo Ward to Nakagyo Ward in Kyoto City.
The road runs from Imakoji-Dori near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in the north to Sanjo-Dori in the south.
It is also said to be called Shimonomori-dori, but Aiaizushi-dori is more commonly used.
It is a road that runs through a residential area, and it is also a quaint street with many Kyoto townhouses remaining.
Also in the northern part of the street is Mitsunari Ishida’s vassal.
There is a place that is said to be the grave of Shima Sakon.

つい最近、この相合図子通りを「原日出子の京さんぽ」の再放送で拝見しましたが、ごく普通の住宅街に古本屋さんがあって驚きました(*_*) 京都の読書好きの方々には有名なお店だそうです(*'▽')
