Hello everyone
Thank you for listening to Cycle Panda ch.
In this video, we will take you through the streets of Kyoto,
which are said to be shaped like a checkerboard.
I ride my bike (and walk where I can’t) at a leisurely pace.
I hope to be able to show you around the city along the way.
Please take your time to take a look.
Badai Street
A street located from Kita-ku to Nakagyo-ku in Kyoto City.
In Heian-kyo, it corresponds to Badai-Koji.
Many educational buildings such as universities and high schools can be seen along the entire street.
In addition, many famous Japanese painters live in the central and northern part of the street,
The area is also known as Kinugasa Bijutsu-mura (Art Village).
