Fujisan Herb Garden has many wonderful mixed plantings.

Hello everyone. Today I would like to introduce a herb garden in my hometown, Fujikawaguchiko Town. The herb garden sells natural cosmetics and herbal goods made from herbs that are gentle to the body, and viewing the garden itself is free.

It takes 30 minutes if you walk from Fujikawaguchiko Station, but you can come here in 10 minutes by bicycle. There is a cafe, and if you come to Lake Kawaguchi for sightseeing, this is a recommended place to stop by. In the herb garden, you can always see the lovely mixed plantings.

These mixed plantings are moved to a covered area at night. This is to prevent them from dying from frost. Chimes and bells in various places. The yellow wheelbarrow is a pretty object, but it has the aspect of a tool to facilitate movement. Let’s also sound the wind chimes. Sounds good😊

Fujikawaguchiko town is on a plateau, so the temperature is low enough to have frost even in spring. Beautiful gazanias. The staff moves the mixed plantings around at night, so this is how you can see the dainty flowers. Ranunculus.

When it warms up a bit more, the tulips will be blooming in the flower beds outside. No flowers in the outside flower beds right now, but it’s great to see so many “mixed plantings” 😊

Not only mixed plantings, you can also see orchids in the greenhouse, and if you go up to the observation deck, you can see Mt.Fuji. This owl flaps its wings when the wind blows. I like the calm colors of the violas. Stock is beautiful. I wonder if the yellow flowers are tulips. Nemophila.

Gold Quest and cyclamen. The staff at this garden are all very nice. They are in the business of recommending cosmetics, but they are never pushy. I buy and have some cosmetics myself, and I think they are of good quality.

However, I am sorry to say that I often don’t buy them when they come because they don’t run out easily. Instead, I always try to eat delicious soft-serve ice cream. The greenhouse comes into view. Water is flowing from the watering can. The greenhouse is filled with dogs, owls, and other cute little things.

And speaking of greenhouses, orchids. Green hanging baskets and pink margaret. Yellow poinsettia. Hagoromo jasmine. There is even a small waterfall in the greenhouse. Big goldfish. Rhubarb? There is rhubarb used for jam and other things. Rosemary and many other herbs are planted. Large driftwood.

They say if you can find a blue rabbit you will be happy 😲 Succulent plants. Air plants. Beautiful with the light shining on the flowers😊 strawflower. Now let’s climb up to the observation deck and finish with Mt.Fuji.

Upside down Fuji does not show up nicely if there is even a little bit of wind. Underwater flowers are “butterbur sprouts,” a wild plant of early spring This lookout is free, but you can pay 500 yen for a slightly different view. Pay 500 yen and relax at the cafe on top.

  1. That is so cool and nice attraction to have for your hometown, I loved the greenhouse , the colours of flowers and the little figurines

  2. Very nice tour throughout — thanks a lot for naming so many plants and flowers, you are quite knowledgeable! How lucky to have a postcard view of Mt. Fuji as well.
