Riding a motorcycle in Nan Thailand 🇹🇭 Scenic roads in North Thailand

[Music] hello everyone welcome to another  Vlog in this Vlog we’re going to be driving   on a motorbike through Nan we’re going to be  on some of the most scenic roads in Nan if not   in the hole of Thailand yeah I’m excited let’s  go but before we go see what’s coming [Music]

Up I don’t know where to look  the views are amazing from both [Music] sides I think Danny got angry  with me and he left [Music] me let’s go in oh my [Music] God the one thing I can tell you  for sure I’m going to miss this view it  

Was beautiful before you wake up in the  morning and this is the first thing you see oh so nice I feel sad leaving all  right let’s hit that road look at the view nice to meet you our friends  bikers from changai which we met  

Uh in our Resort lovely lovely  people they carrying on driving   around Thailand North Thailand  done and we off to explore rest of n can we go with them yeah let’s [Music] go [Music] it’s quite cool now we’re like riding as a  little group so we all left at the same time  

And they’re heading to the same way as us so  it’s nice to be riding with someone else it’s   quite cool what do you think it’s nice isn’t  it yeah it’s nice you don’t I don’t know why  

But it feels yeah it feels cool it would  be love I would love to go on motor bike   trip with somebody yeah that would be so cool  just drive around uh to some viewpoints you   know and just like a holay trip driving around  stop for coffee stop F Fook that’ll be lovely

Yeah it was lovely to meet you  guys lovely people yeah nice come   for ride with you for 10 15 minutes  pretty cool and if you heard us we   beep to say goodbye but I think you’re  concentrating on the road which is fair Enough imagine that was your  house there look at that [Music] so we just stopped to check them up but we just  drove through a little village and every single   kid we met on our way they were waving to us  so cute or pretending to shoot us with a toy  

Stick gun yeah they waved afterwards it’s  fine yeah just checking where we’re going   because we’re taking a different route here to  the original one this is a bit slower but you   get to see more views and literally there’s no  one on the road roads are empty the nature is  

Beautiful you can see we’re right by the river  now so driving alongside the river is [Music] beautiful look at this view here I’m so glad  we chose this route no one here just just look  

At it right dny I think we should fly the Drone  let’s go down and fly the Drone you have to see   this you have to see this from above even though  we’re way up in the clouds you don’t really need  

A drone here but we want to show you from above  but the views you get here it just drop off from   either side and the road is just like stuck on  top of the mountain yeah let’s go nice yeah let’s go disturbing the silence

Oh so quiet here as well let  see nobody here no car noises nothing check out the views wow Yeah I have to say you guys that these roads I  don’t know is it in the middle of nowhere put   it this way but they’re so smooth they’re like  pristine there’s not any bumps and they’re just   beautiful road to drive on I’ve never seen  road so smooth in Thailand actually unless  

You’re on like the main roads oh wow and it’s  just views everywhere every corner it’s just   like I cannot stop filming I don’t want to  turn the camera off because I just don’t   want to miss the moment or the view but Danny  I just to look at the road we’re going on now  

Oh oh my God I wish I had a third hand because  I’ve Got Hand camera in one hand GoPro in one hand we’re just driving through remote Villages  and it just something popped into my head   when seeing all those little houses made  out of wood with the big scab no windows  

And stuff like that kids running around  they look very happy but it makes me feel   privileged the life I’m living don’t you think  yeah yeah but it’s beautiful in its own way if   you’ve never known anything different this is  beautiful and it is beautiful look at the views  

So if you don’t know any different you’ve  always lived here I used to live on a farm   I didn’t know about the city so much so for me  yeah I’m very lucky I’ve lived both sides Farm  

Life and city life so I’ve seen the difference  some people haven’t they stay on the farms and   never leave yes but you’re like on the farm it  was nothing like the farm life they’ve got here  

Oh no it’s a lot more har year much harder life  way way harder we’re on top of the world really   don’t shout they have tigers bears here  oh we’re going to be going down now yeah out I think we’re going to make a stop soon  

Because we don’t want our brakes  to over hit then we would be in trouble [Music] so yeah we chose a different route  we were basically heading for a road called   Street number three if you Google Maps  it that’s how you’d find it but we’re   going on the less touristy route until  we get to there so soon we’re going to  

Split off and head for Street number  three which is supposedly or arguably   meant have some of the most scenic roads  I say in the whole of Thailand so let’s go I think we stop where we I’m excited these  roads are lovely just not this bit this bit is  

A little bit uh old and worn down but what  can you expect in you in such a remote area   uh set up with to make sure you bring some  water with you cuz there is no shocks here  

Where to buy water even when we passed the  villages they didn’t have any shot so make   sure you’ve got some water with you a battery  on your phone battery on your phone and maybe   some medical stuff just in case if just  in case if you’re going to come off the  

Bike because there’s no hospitals here and not  really phone signal so you’re going to be stuck Mate what they going here people look it  has to stop the stool where you can stand up look that’s all you need oh that is so nice it’s   hot today see you’re find in the  mountain say water everything you need Mountain Shower [Music] so yeah you see that sometimes in this  area they actually call these uh floating roads   and I can actually see why now cuz every now  and again you’ll pop out of this jungly area   and basically you’re right on the Ridge Point  and there’s just drop offs either side it looks amazing

Not just looking around because I wonder  what they’re growing up here and we just   seen the L guys harvesting corn but way  way up here in the mountains I thought   you’d know me grow on the flat L rather up  on right right on top of the mountains but  

There’s also rubber plantations we can see up  here as well so yeah there lots of Agriculture up we it’s a little bit Greener over  here and yeah we’re passing another Coral field you see on the map a little  village so we’re slightly thirsty  

You might stop off for a drink if there’s  a shop open we’ll find out when we get there people are very surprised to see us  here literally every single person who’s   driving past is waving or smiling to us  I don’t think anyone comes down here like  

Tourists I mean even TI tourists no bikers  on this side no we can see a little village   over there so I think we’re going to stop and  grab a water because yeah we don’t want to get dehydrated right right we found a shop only one  

Shop open in the village is holiday  like a bank holiday in Thailand so   it was hard to find somewhere where  it’s open but we’re here now sweaty car maybe M50 little refreshment break  got some kitties allies it’s so hot we  

Had to stop for a little bit cuz it’s like  midday now 1:00 cool down and then we’re   going to um we went a little bit too far  so we have to go back a tiny bit and then   we’re going to go into the u-shaped road  but before we’re going to stop for coffee  

Somewhere yeah yeah I’m just looking at the  root quickly let’s go all right let’s go just passing beautiful local temple oh we need to stop we need to get off  the bike we’ve been already driving for 4   hours 4 hours now yeah yeah well Danny  was driving anyway but we just came to  

The cafe and I can see already that it’s  going to look beautiful oh it’s open yeah cappuccino May what a lovely [Music] spot this  is a nice little Hidden Gem we are planning on   going one down the road but the guy was really  nice he oh we’re clothes today and they look  

Beautiful as well we said ah five minutes this  way and we come across this place the view here   is amazing we need a break we need a break coffee  refresh and then get back on the bike coffees here  

They range from like 50 to 60 bar as well so  the prices are really good as well dinner is served oh yeah we got cake so we’re just  going to stay here chill for a bit get   some energy back and then we’ll be back  on the road again you got cake here you  

Got a blueberry it’s melting in the heat  we need some sugar as well yeah oh nice   thing is we cannot find anywhere to eat today  everything is closed it’s a tie holiday today   so quite a lot of stuff is shut up even the  little shops a lot of the shops are shut as

Well I know people like prices so for all  this cake two coffees 190 buck so really   good prices here as well right we are we’re back  on the bike next stop you shaped throat let’s   go we’re coming to these roads for the views  they made to look amazing and the roads going  

To be really good for driving on so it’s just a  nice relaxing drive with views so let’s go and see I don’t know where to look the views are amazing  from both sides this is the most open bit of road  

We’ve seen you can see a lot more on this u  shaped Road I like this road the best on far I think [Music] first question is  where is everyone there’s   nobody here but wow let me show you the views [Music] right I was going to be driving over  date let’s give you some info about this bike   that we’ve rented so the bike we’ve rented is  a Honda ad 160 and I’d advise you to get a 160  

If you’re on these roads 150 minimum so the  price of this bike per day was $ 5.90 a day   and you only have to leave 1,000 bu deposit was  really good and a photo copy of your passport so  

Where do we get this bike from we got this  bike from a place called frait motorbike   which is in nant toown we’ll leave the link  for the place in the description so you can   check it out yourself so for us we’d highly  recommend this place it’s not sponsored or  

Anything it’s really comfy the bike it’s brand  new and also the helmets they give you they’re   brand new not like some places that we’ve been  to before also you have space for your luggage   the luggage inside is massive as well what’s  really cool also is most of his bikes they  

Have these racks on the back so you can put your  luggage on the back so this is really handy they   provide with the straps as well so already  ready you to go especially with two of you  

Makes it so easy right enough me talking let’s  get on this thing and get on the road [Music] this is crazy I can see why the buses don’t come   up here massive new events  but cool for biking this is

Crazy so cool to be driving on the roads  like that and it’s nice and open youth are   incredible number three C where we’re going  right next stop number three curve this is   the area where you get the most scenic GRS in  Thailand we’ll find out in a second let’s go yay Woohoo [Music] a [Music] this is one of my favorite things  we did in Thailand just look at   this road empty roads nice and smoo nobody’s here we made it we made it to the road number three  to the top point I’m going to show we going to  

Show you now it’s going to be awesome views  but not only the views but the road itself   it looks so cool they so we’ve made it this  is the famous Viewpoint when you’re driving   these roads this is where people come there’s a  few stalls here as well for food and everyone’s  

Taking their picture here but it looks beautiful  we’re going to drive up it as well in a minute   not just look at it and go we’re going that  way right are you ready to see the view wow   look at that that looks smart that’s really  cool Road have a [Applause] [Music] look and  

To get a nice shot of this amazing Road it  looks so cool photos don’t do it justice but   I taken some photos on my phone and it looks  amazing just need some more motorbikes driving   up and down to make it look yeah amazing  but we’re going to drive on it anyway

Got some cool shots there really good  ones you’re going to be happy with these   you got one way to get a ride going  south to find a home yeah where Hing   birds are flying in the sky the dreams  are coming true a magic place where you  

Can count the Stars just lay down in the  middle of the night look up to the sky [Music] ten think Danny got angry with me  and he left me okay so I just basically told  

Him just drive for want to take a nice shot  of it but he just carried on oh he’s coming back this road looks so cool we got  to drive through it now let’s wait   for this truck to go so we can enjoy it and let’s

Go I want a free run at it with no one around so cool did you realize that yeah oh you did  I love you I’m so slow the sign says   I love and I was just looking thinking  you love what and then I suppose if you  

Look at it from the sky with the  U Bend I love you it makes perfect sense so now we are just heading back to our  s n to we don’t have a hotel F yet we’re   not sure where we’re going to stay uh  but yeah we are hungry we need to stop  

For food somewhere and yeah let’s see  where we going to stand we have no idea yet [Music] so we just stopped for some  food in a cafe by the road sweaty car h g m g right we stopped for some food but look at this view the grass

[Music] are yeah can stay right  this place looks beautiful but   we’re leaving this place because  they didn’t have any of the norn   style food right we’re going to the  cafe next door litchy I can see it from here yeah

[Music] baby so we have found a cafe with some  local food noen style uh food we’ve got here   some sausage sa I think that’s what it’s called  I’m going straight and I’m so hungry we are we  

Are so hungry we are so hot we are so sweaty we  are so tired aren’t we hungry we hungry we get hungry good sausage I like sausage try this this is a different one  this is like um northern chili dip  

I think what else we got here we  have some noen style chili di dip   Danny said pork scratching with  some chili dip let’s go [Music] [Music] in oh my God ni oh my God this is one  of the best things I’ve ever eaten oh it’s hot  

As well I thought it was cold try it [Music]  lot W you don’t like it that is super yummy   M can I explain what that is I think it’s got  like um tomatoes in it Tomatoes chili think a  

Bit of meat as well I think oh that is so good  that is nice lady you Wen as oh this is spicy   can you eat spices yes but it’s not spicy at  all but yeah we’re going to just enjoy this  

Dinner because we are super hungry as you know  we only had breakfast this morning we’re going   to finish this and head to our accommodation that  was really good best thing I’ve eaten on this trip

[Music] mhm so this was one of the best food not  only I had on this trip but one of the best food   I ever had that dip with tomato sauce and chilies  that was amazing I think that’s yeah that’s the  

Best dish I’ve had here in N definitely the best  dish yeah and um what else I wanted to say I’m   so tired I I lit cannot speak all I wanted to  say that link to this Cafe is going to be in

Have everything planned just get on it go stop at  a nice cafe stop at a nice view take some awesome pictures oh drive around and spend time together  yes on the bike I was going to say if you enjoy  

Riding even if you come at driving it’s just  as nice do it definitely I would we are going   to head back to nant toown we’re going to stay in  the same hotel in the same hotel where we started  

This trip basically in hoop in just because it’s  super clean it’s super clean is convenient and   it’s very cheap we paying 750 bu per night  yeah so we’re going to leave you with some   views on the way back with the sun going down  don’t forget this is important and subscribe if
