63년 전 폐기차역과 철교를 가로지르는 낭만적인 자전거길 여행 | 지하철역 5분거리 | 걷는 여행 | 국내 여행 | 자전거 여행
Today , I would like to introduce you to a bicycle path in Korea that is so popular that 400,000 people visit it every year. I ride the subway to the starting point of the bicycle path . On weekends and days of the week,
I can carry my bicycle in the front and back of the subway and ride it from home. It allowed me to travel comfortably even to places that were far away . The door opened. Today’s bike ride starts from Exit 4 of Misa Station. Before entering the actual bike path,
There are a few places around Misa Station that are good for a quick stop, so let’s take a look at them first. This is the Misari Rowing Stadium, which we arrived at after riding a bicycle for about 5 minutes from Exit 4 of Misa Station.
This is a stadium built for rowing, one of the events of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Many families came here even before the city was developed along the Misa River. They say they came here to ride a bicycle. So,
Let’s take a bike ride around the rowing stadium. The remaining distance is displayed at the edge of the stadium . There was also a huge electronic board showing the time. You can also see many winter migratory birds.
There was a boat storage area at the end of the stadium. Among the boats here, there were 100 . It is said that the price of the Eight, a boat that can be ridden by sea, is over 100 million won. I will just ride a bicycle. For reference,
Many marathon events like this are held at the Misa Rowing Stadium. When I visited, the Breaking Phoebe 30km marathon was being held next to it. There are many people who finished the race and took pictures to prove their records. Let’s run on the opposite side of the track.
On the other side, there was a spectator stand where you could watch the rowing competition. There was also a strange-looking clock in front. Then, let’s keep running. Before we knew it, we had completed one lap of the rowing stadium. I’m trying to leave the stadium. Beyond the boat storage area,
A strange-looking observatory caught my eye. I can’t just pass by. Let’s go. When you pass the boat storage area, you’ll see a sign leading to Wirae Sarang-gil. You can go here, but there are stairs. There were so many that I had a hard time carrying my bike up.
There is Dangjeong Island under the Paldang Bridge in Hanam-si. This place, called Jeong, is a naturally formed waterside park in the form of a delta where the main stream of the Han River meets Deokpungcheon. There are not only bicycle paths but also walking trails. It is a very nice
Place to take a walk because it is beautifully constructed. If you go up to the observatory that you saw near the boat storage area earlier, you can take in the beautiful scenery of the trekkers at a glance. Let ‘s go. I crossed the riverside and
Came towards the observatory. Then, I parked my bike and went inside the observatory. Let’s take a look . This is the Union Tower, about an 8-minute bike ride from the Misari Rowing Stadium . It’s quite tall.
Let’s go in. By the way, there’s a water purifier inside, so it’s great for quenching your thirst. Of course, there’s a restroom as well. Then, first, go to the unmanned cafe on the 3rd floor.
Let’s go up . As we went up, I was able to see the vast city of Hanam at a glance. I had a great view of the Misa rowing stadium where I rode my bike and Dangjeong Island . I could also see Dangdaegyo Bridge very well.
There was Hanam Starfield on the far right. There was an unmanned cafe and a vending machine at the back . I tried a chocolate snack outside of here. It was a little disappointing that it only took cash, but it was amazing that when I pressed the number, the snack I wanted appeared.
Now, let’s go up to the 4th floor. The 4th floor is a space with full glass for the view, so it had a more open feel. The scenery was 3. It’s similar to the floor. Now that we’ve finished the sightseeing, let’s head to the next destination. I rode my bike again and
Went to the riverside road that I came across from the rowing stadium. If you turn right here, you will see Dangjeong, which you could see from the Union Tower. For long-distance marchers, the 1.2km section is all on Meta Seker Ayer Road. It
‘s a great place to take a walk. Riding bicycles is prohibited, so I got off my bike and walked down the road for a moment. The leaves had all fallen, but the phyton chidae air from the lush metasequoia trees was still enough to soothe my tired mind.
There’s also a pond on the side. Let’s take a quick look. I thought it would be really cool to come in July when the lotus flowers are in full bloom. Now, let’s continue along the road again. If you keep walking, you can take the left road like this. If you
Go here, you will see a bike path again. Then, shall we enjoy riding again ? For reference, Jeongdeul is also famous as a place where migratory birds rest for a while in the winter. Hundreds of migratory birds, presumed to be large, were resting on the riverside. It’s really
Amazing. Now that we’ve finished looking around, let’s continue along the road. As we follow the road, the huge Paldang Bridge comes into view. I started to come in. If you keep following the road, you can cross Paldang Bridge. Let’s
Take a look. Paldang Bridge, which I am currently crossing, is a bridge on the Han River that connects Hanam-si and Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi- do . It was a different feeling to cross this huge bridge by bicycle instead of using Daejeong Bridge . When you cross the street, you will see restaurants like this.
As this is a favorite place for bike riders, there are plenty of bike racks around the restaurants. It’s really interesting . After passing this restaurant street, you can get to the Namhan River Bicycle Path Course, one of the four major river bicycle path courses. Let ‘s take a fun
Ride. The Han River flows right next to the Namhan River bike path, so it’s fun to look at the vast river of the Han River while riding. The scale of the Paldang Dam visible in the distance is no joke. Let ‘s follow it and find a strange-looking tunnel. This one
Has appeared. The tunnel we are passing through is the Bongan Tunnel, and this is also a bicycle path. Instead of just riding on the same road, different elements appear on each road, which doubles the fun of biking. Let’s go through the tunnel and follow the road. There is a bicycle cross-country certification center.
I came out. Inside, there is a stamp for crossing the country. If I have time later, I would like to try traveling across the country. But there was a blue stopover suddenly placed in front. I was curious about the origin of this train, so I went deeper. As
I followed the iron track, I went inside. There is an abandoned train station. This is Nae Station, an abandoned train station on the Jungang Line that operated from 1956 to 2005. As the abandoned train road here was transformed into a bicycle path in 2012,
Nae Station began welcoming customers again. When you enter, the nostalgia of the old train station is intact. There are facilities that you can feel. Now, let’s finish the sightseeing and enjoy the bike ride again
. As we continue along the road, we come across an abandoned railroad bridge with rusty traces of time gone by. This railroad bridge is the Yangsu Bridge that connects Ungilsan Station in Namyangju City and the water area in Yanggun.
In 2008, after the construction of the new Yangsu Railroad Bridge, which can be seen next to the Jungbu Line subway line, the old Yangsu Railroad Bridge, which is currently in operation, has wooden sidewalk boards laid out like this and
Is being intentionally used for the Namhan River Bicycle Path. In this way, the Namhan River Bicycle Path was actually used as a Jungang Line railroad in the past. Because it is paved as a bicycle path,
It is also a romantic course where you can fully feel the nostalgia of the past, such as tunnels, trains, and Neungnae Station. I really think that 400,000 people visit this place every year for no reason. After passing the Yangsu Railroad Bridge, you will reach the right place.
It turns into Yangpyeong-gun land. From here, I didn’t follow the bike path, but took the new road on the side. If you come out onto the new road and go a little to the right, you will see a small park like this. Here, you can enjoy trekking with the Han River
Next to it . Get off the bike for a moment. As I walk slowly, I can see the high-altitude scenery that I missed while riding. Let’s continue along the road. After riding for about 20 minutes on foot and by bicycle from the Yangsu Railway Bridge, we arrived at this place,
Dumulmeori. Dumulmeori is a confluence where the Bukhangang River and the Namhangang River meet. It is famous as an amusement park boasting an outstanding natural environment. It is said that this place
Was famous as a center of trade through water and land in the past due to the characteristic where the Bukhangang River and the Namhangang River meet. So, let’s take your time and enjoy the scenery of Dumulmeori. For reference, when you come to Dumulmeori There is one specialty that you should not miss,
And that is Dumulmeori hot dogs. The price is 4,000 won per dog, so it is a little expensive, but it is large and tasty, so it is not a waste of money. This is the end of today’s bicycle walking trip. When I return home, I go
To Dumulmeori . After passing over the hot dog restaurant, go straight up the road. Then you will come across the Namhan River bike path again, and if you follow this road, you can arrive at Yangsu Station on the Kyunghee Jungang Line. See you next time with a more interesting walking travel video.
Thank you for watching.
