He came all the way from Osaka with a brand new WR250R on his van. He wanted to ride on as flat trails as possible, so we came to Okushizu(Mountainous area in Shizuoka). So, first, let’s get in the trail Gonshichi-touge line! “The autumn leaves are already gone, huh.” “Yeah.”

I bet he doesn’t have time to enjoy the scenery, since he hasn’t been riding on trails for a long time. ※The video was taken in early Dec/2023 His body looks quite stiff. It’s like a doll riding a motorcycle. “Oh, no.” “The throttle…”

“didn’t come off because my glove got caught on something.” Since his helmet, gears, and boots are all brand new, he’s still not get used to them either. The paved area ahead was like this! I wonder how far the base was underneath the concrete. He’s standing up and sitting down.

Looks like he’s trying to get back his riding feels. It’s getting a bit rough. He rides good. Even though it’s a flat trail, lately it has been messed up here and there. So there are not many trails that are completely flat along the entire line.

Or, I mean, if it’s as rough as this, it’s just one of the flat trails for us. But after 12 years, it’s not so flat… “Yeah” “I’m tired.” “We’re just getting started.” We can’t say it’s flat around here. “Oh!” Huff Ah… “Hey, what’s happening there?” Huff

“There’s just a steep step.” “Oh, shit!” Looks like he’s trying to back up. Then… One more time. He didn’t want to damage the new bike, so he intentionally left his right leg underneath. “I have no power to put it up.” We’ve been on the trail for just 10 minutes.

He must be having a hard time, though, but If you look at him in distance, he’s riding quite normally. But it’s boring if he didn’t do something interesting… Now we are on the Ipposugi-touge line. Here, the road is covered with rocks,

But he’s went over it good here as well. “Ah.” What’s wrong? “I was scared back there.” He hasn’t gotten over his fear of heights. 3 weeks later… Surprisingly, he came all the way from Osaka again. This time, he’s got Yoshimura silencer/SP Tadao Power Box,

And ZETA aluminum handlebar/hand guards/SHORAI battery, achieving a big upgrade of his bike. Well, I wonder how much that will improve his riding, though. We’re now on the Fujikawa line in Kawane. Although it’s a one-way piston trail of about 9km, it’s flat all the way with a great view.

So it’s ideal for him, still in rehabilitation. It’s already the 3rd trail of the day, and he seems to get used to it, So why not increase the speed a little bit? We’re moving on at a so-so good speed, but he seems to be all right.

Is he finishing his rehabilitation? We’re on the trail Ōfuda Line, the last one of the day. This trail, via the Mominokidaira line, leads to the Minami-Akaishi line(all paved). But I haven’t been here for more than 4 years due to a big collapse on the Mominokidaira line.

I wonder if it has been restored by any chance? We’ve got in the Mominokidaira line. It’s completely abandoned. “This is definitely a dead end.” “Why is there a stone,” “everywhere I go?” “It’s your fate.” “Oh, it’s frozen, it’s frozen.” Why is only there frozen?

The road surface has become a bit cleaner, It’s just happens to be in its old state here. Messed up again. Is everything okay back there? No, it wasn’t. “Help!” My foot was caught again, but this time it wasn’t intentional.

It really was his fate to be hit by a stone and fall. But it was good it wasn’t on the brand-new muffler side. I went further ahead, but way before the spot where it had collapsed before, it was newly collapsed. So finished his rehabilitation trail ride after 12 years! Ah…
