山も海も走りたい 秋の茨城ツーリング【Harley-Davidson Lowrider S】

Lawson Omori store, Ota-ku, Tokyo Nice to meet you. Today I’m heading to Ibaraki Touring. I’m not used to it, but I’d be happy if you could check it out. The course takes you all the way to the northern part of Ibaraki Prefecture on the Joban Expressway.

I wanted to have lunch in Oarai, so I headed down the coast, keeping an eye on the time. The final route is to visit Kashima Shrine and return from Higashi-Kanto Expressway. It’s cloudy, but there’s no need to worry about rain in the forecast, so don’t worry. Time to head to the expressway entrance

It’s an exciting and favorite time. In front of Ota Stadium, Tokai 1-chome, Ota-ku, Tokyo The road is still wet from the rain that fell late at night. Drive carefully until it dries. Yashio, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, National Route 357, Central Oi South Entrance

Please note that you cannot ride the Wangan Expressway from Central Oi Minami in the foreground. I’ve made the mistake several times since the change a few years ago. Oi Tollgate, Yashio, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Shuto Expressway, Wangan Line The first meeting is the beginning of a journey, and the feeling is high.

As soon as you pass through the Tokyo Port Tunnel, you will be in Odaiba. Edogawa-ku, Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Wangan Line Kasai Junction From this time onwards, the Bayside Line is congested. Passing through the Disneyland traffic, head towards Joban Expressway. An hour or so after sunrise, the sun came through the clouds.

Enter the Chuo Loop Line (C2) along the Arakawa River. Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, Chuo Loop Line, Katsushika Harp Bridge Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture, Metropolitan Expressway No. 6, Misato Line There were no major traffic jams, and we arrived in Saitama Prefecture in 40 minutes from departure.

There are many large dump trucks on this route on weekdays. This is a route you should avoid during the daytime on weekdays due to the fear of sand and flying stones. Misato City, Saitama Prefecture, Metropolitan Expressway No. 6, Misato Toll Gate Joban Expressway Tonegawa Bridge Chiba Prefecture/Ibaraki Prefecture Prefectural Border

Within an hour of departure, we crossed Saitama and Chiba and entered Ibaraki Prefecture. Joban Expressway Moriya Parking Area Enter the service area to take a break Only a few food courts were open yet. I simply made it with a sandwich.

I was planning to leave right away, but I just took it easy for 40 minutes. I still have plenty of time, so I’ll head over without haste. Although the vehicle is heavy, the torque makes merging feel secure. Joban Expressway Ibaraki Prefecture Tomobe Junction Joban Expressway, Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachi City, continuous tunnel section

The first Hitachi tunnel you pass through is said to be the longest on the Joban Expressway. Joban Expressway, Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachi Chuo Interchange Exit After 3 hours including a break, we arrived at our destination interchange. This time we start from Hitachi City, Ibarakiken lol

When I was thinking about the course, I was wondering if I should go south along the coast. This time, I would like to visit a facility called the Nippon Mining Memorial Museum. I decided to go around from the mountain side. Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Prefectural Route 36, Hitachi Yamagata Line

Turn right from the expressway exit and you will soon be on a mountain road. The road surface was wet, but it was well maintained so I didn’t have any concerns. It’s a pleasant road with just the right amount of gentle curves.

As I climbed a little higher, I saw more and more trees with autumn leaves. There is a large cedar in the middle of the road. If you look into it, you’ll find that it’s a single cedar tree on the main mountain, a natural monument designated by Hitachi City.

It is said to be a sacred tree that is 450 years old. Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachi City, Miyata, Nikko Memorial Museum In 30 minutes, I arrived at the Nikko Memorial Museum, which I was looking forward to. However, due to insufficient research, the museum is closed on public holidays… which is a shame.

It’s open on Sundays, so I’m looking forward to the next time. Next, I’ll head to the Green Furusato Line, which I’ve always wanted to run. This time it’s only a short section, but I’ll go there just to enjoy the atmosphere. In front of Oiwa Shrine, Shikenchou, Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture

Oiwa Shrine is a famous shrine, and there were quite a few cars there. It was an hour walk from the entrance, so I decided not to go this time. Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachi City, Irishiken-cho, Green Furusato Line This time we will run a short section of 6 km up to National Route 349.

I don’t like rain, but I like some fog because it’s atmospheric. The Green Furusato Line is a wide-area farm road that stretches for 70km. The road is wide and there are few passing vehicles, so it is easy to ride on a motorcycle.

It was a road with a lot of greenery as it went through the mountains. deviate from this path from here Enter National Route 349 and head south. National Route 349, Hitachi Ota City, Ibaraki Prefecture National Route 293, Hitachi Ota City, Ibaraki Prefecture

At the end of the 2km straight line, it branches into a toll road and prefectural road No. 6.

Prefectural Route 6, Ajigaura Beach, Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture This Ajigaura Staircase becomes a beach in the summer. The arched shore was filled with white sand and the scent of the sea. I think the real pleasure of riding a motorcycle is being able to feel the smell directly.

I found a place where I could park, so I took a short break. I took some photos during the break. On this day, there was no wind and the sea was calm. I will continue to walk comfortably along the coast. Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachinaka City, Prefectural Road 108

Prefectural Road 173, Oarai Town, Higashiibaraki District, Ibaraki Prefecture

A few minutes away from the bridge, famous for its torii gate on the reef. There is Oarai Isomae Shrine so I decided to stop by. The Zuishinmon gate at the top of the climb, the detailed carvings are amazing After receiving a shrine stamp, we head to the torii gate built on the reef.

The scenery with the torii gate and the sound of the waves were both wonderful. A bird staring at a single point becomes a painting. Turn left at the torii gate that crosses the road. Ibaraki Prefecture Prefectural Route 32 Sunbeach Street

I’m going to eat monkfish hotpot, which is one of my goals this time. Ibaraki is famous for its monkfish, and I had made a reservation because it was delicious from this time of year. Arrive in a few minutes from the shrine When touring, I often do it easily.

The luxury of time is also good. 9-4 Oarai Port Chuo, Higashiibaraki District, Ibaraki Prefecture Enyadottomaru It was a very satisfying lunch. From here, we will take the lower road for 1 hour to our final destination of the day. Kashima City, Ibaraki Prefecture National Route 51

I was able to see an unexpectedly beautiful sunset sky. I returned to Oi Minami Exit in 2 hours. It was a not too long course of 370km for a day trip. I don’t feel tired I want to refuel and go home. Although everything didn’t go as planned, it was a wonderful day. Total mileage: 373km Expressway fee: ¥5,720 Gasoline fee: ¥3,172 Total: ¥8,892
