【消防メシ】ガチ訓練後のガッツリめし!消防隊員の賄いごはんづくりに密着!
Delicious as always! 100 points! This time, I will introduce the food of the fire department. A firefighter’s job is special. One shift is 24 hours, and employees are not allowed to go out even during their breaks because there is a possibility of emergency dispatch.
There are also times when I work on-site with my colleagues, risking my life. Communication with co-workers is also very important. One of the things I look forward to at work is eating. There is something called “firefighter” meal” that is made inside the building.
This time, following on from last time, we specially photographed the “firefighter food”. Please take your time and enjoy. Toyohashi City Minami Fire Station West Branch 1-1-8 Higashiwaki, Toyohashi City At the fire department, we are always prepared to respond quickly in the event of an emergency,
And each person’s equipment is kept in a locker. (The inside of the vehicle is equipped in preparation for any situation. We were given a special look inside.) This is a radio that communicates with the command center and other units. On-site information is sent from the command center to this screen.
This is a dedicated car navigation system. This is the microphone that prompts people to give directions, such as “Please clear the road. An emergency vehicle is passing .” This is the control panel for activating the siren. Contains a set of tools for dealing with injured people in emergency situations.
Also loaded with oxygen, suction machines, and AEDs. Above this is the gas detector. Each seat where members sit is equipped with a cylinder containing air for use in fires, etc. This is a special chair that is equipped with an oxygen tank. We had a chance to see the fire engine tank from above.
It usually holds about 1 ton of water. This container contains chemicals used in the event of a hazardous material fire. This is a chemical solution used in the event of a hazardous material fire. In the event of a fire involving hazardous materials,
These devices are first attached to create and release foam. (This is an emergency dispatch.) It weighs approximately 20 kilograms when fully equipped, including fire protection clothing, a helmet, and a respirator, which must be worn at a fire scene. I still don’t understand how scary the scene is. I just graduated from fire academy a month ago.
I’ve only been to the field so far so far, but I can feel how difficult the job is.
A single action on your part could affect the future of a patient or person seeking help. When I think about this, I sometimes wonder if this is really the right thing to do. I think I need to practice more, I need to train more. The workload is heavy, isn’t it?
Actually, my father worked at the Toyohashi Fire Department headquarters, and I grew up watching him participate in firefighting activities. I became a firefighter because I wanted to do something that would help others. The most dangerous thing about a fire is the smoke. Carbon monoxide is dangerous.
Another phenomenon is called flashover, which occurs when a fire reaches its peak season. This is a phenomenon where up until now there was only smoke , but it suddenly turns into flames and the room spreads all at once.
Such deflagration phenomena are also dangerous. Also, if a wooden house catches fire, tiles may fall, the second floor floor may fall off, and the building itself may collapse, making it dangerous. We take these things into account when extinguishing fires.
Oxygen cylinders can only be used for about 10 to 20 minutes when entering a building during a fire and rescuing people who were unable to escape. So, when you breathe in air, try to leave as much air as possible.
It’s painful, but I’m trying to suppress my breathing a little so I can use the cylinder for as long as possible. This is because there may be people who have missed out, and I want to save as much oxygen as possible so that I can use it as effectively as possible for activities.
Even if you have a cylinder, there is a limit to how much oxygen you can breathe, so you only need to attach it until the last minute .
For example, if there is a building here, you can’t put it on even if it takes a little effort, so you have to go to the very last minute and be as patient as possible. I only use it when I’m at the scene of a fire. “Activity time 10 minutes” “Understood, put on your mask!” Make sure to wear a mask! “There’s someone who needs rescue five meters away. Let’s go.” “yes” “2 meters left” “The person in need of rescue has been rescued. We will now begin firefighting operations. Activity time will be 7 minutes.” “Yes, start.”
After training, we discuss improvements to each other’s movements. Watercraft for water rescue operations Fry minced meat fry the carrots Stir-fry shimeji mushrooms fry onions Of course, there are also dangerous workplaces. In such areas, our top priority is to work together to ensure safety while helping each other. At first, I felt psychologically reluctant to go into places that other people would avoid.
In fact, when I started working, my mental resistance gradually disappeared. It made me feel proud that I was doing work for people. I have grown a lot since becoming a firefighter. This is the first time I’ve heard such a serious conversation. Stir fry garlic and sausage Cooking time is about 1 hour at most. So, I absolutely have to make it in that one hour. Once you get used to it, you will be able to make it easily. Add canned tomatoes and heat fry garlic butter Add well-fried onions Hidden ingredient: dried bonito flakes
Today’s menu is Western food, but I added bonito flakes. When eating it, it is traditional to sprinkle bonito flakes and seaweed on top of pasta with meat sauce. Our seniors also eat like this. The seasoning is just right. it is perfect. Add the fried garlic-infused olive oil and mix to prevent the noodles from sticking. “The meal is ready.” It’s delicious as always. it’s the best! Today’s cooking is 100 points! It’s a refill.
Right now, I’m relaxing and eating, but when I receive an order, I immediately change my mind and go to work. On some days, I get dispatch orders about every two hours and can’t even take a nap.

Hello from Seattle, Washington USA. Great video! It is nice to see how different fire departments in other counties operate. As I watch it really looks like fire departments in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States operate very similarly in more ways than not. One constant for sure is how important house cooking is!
消防で働いてる同級生がいるので、いつもこんな感じなんだと思いながら観てました。ずっと憧れてます🥲
Was a fire-fighter once, but a careless driver ends my career after hitting me while riding my motorcycle at a junction. Causing me to suffer a fractured knee cap and torned ligament. I couldnt recover fully and lost the strength on my right leg. I couldnt run fast and carry heavy gear like the 30 meter hose and self contain breathing apparatus (draeger brand). The dept had to terminate my service due to the bad injury.
