In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Great travell good ride
Hey, first flat in 8 years! When we were traveling north in argentina, 3 rear flats on two bikes in one day. Last one we camped where it happened! Always wondered if it was from the cinders in the roads. PS. Nice road dance in the beginning.

19:03 My heart lit up when I saw those children, they reminded me when I was young. A simple life not corrupted by western influences. Get up, go to school and come back home and go out to play. No big corporations chasing money for bills. I would love to end my days living this lifestyle ❤

There’s something really special about starting the morning with your bike right there, almost as if it’s waiting by your side, ready to carry you into the next experience. Even on those bumpy roads with fast-moving cars, you handle everything with such calm confidence.
That quiet village with the small church felt so peaceful, and the two dogs there seemed to instantly trust you—like gentle companions along the way 🐾 The drone views were stunning, with those rocky, green mountains creating such a powerful landscape. And of course, your signature jump added that perfect personal touch 😊
The “king dog” at your campsite was absolutely heartwarming, and it was great to see how you managed the flat tire situation so smoothly—just another example of your resilience and positivity.

south America is fo me the ultimate , thats why I will die there. the changes in elevations riding in humidity with no jacket . 5 hours later at 3000 mtr withe snow. the roads are gold.. not easy but easy is shit,, ant one can do that . the trucks busses are super stars .. I love them .. to ride a dirt road for a hour ..turn around and go back 2x fast is my ultimate old man mental therapy. The small towns are soft gold. to sit on the corner and just watch people walk by , shows me how much I can never live in a western world again. After 2 trips .. 4 rides up and down south America only 1 on the coast absolutely shit boring crap. The Andies are gold not easy but for all the westerners that will go back to their western countrys and tell everyone how tuff it is because they did the western way losers weak .. SA rocks Big time you are making me super jealous..thgis emotion is not good….I still am dealing with people in Australia working..no riding at all… waiting to get back in July…With no Roxanne //she can live her life out in California. Im going 1996 XR400 :):):) I am ready this time for SA I will hall ass LOLOLOLO
